Chapter 1 - Ch 1. Awakening

(Please read this and give me feedback at the end of the chapter.

Going to apologize ahead of time I struggle with perspective but I try my best so do forgive.

This is a test chapter I'm currently writing a stockpile to post because I'm hoping to eventually get to a point where I can make money off this.)

'I'm dead' at least that's what I initially thought. I vaguely remember driving past an Asian market and what looked like Truck-sama came flying out of the building and hitting my car. 'Yep definitely dead. Then why am I in this weird room now.' As I look around at the surroundings I'm in a white room with the walls producing the light for the room from the places it was visible. The most odd thing would have to be the fucking stickers. There are thousands of them all looking like they were halfheartedly slapped all over the room.

Stranger yet all of them are arrows of different sizes and styles. However, they all have one thing in common. They are all pointing at the same thing. In the corner of the room, there was a corner desk with a carpet leading up to it. Making it essentially another arrow and in the center of it where all the arrows culminate is a computer.

Nothing fancy just a screen, mouse and a keyboard. There wasn't even a tower but the screen was on and displaying something. On the monitor, there was only one statement. "Use me." After looking around the room and only seeing the computer I approach it. As I got close I felt something hit the back of my legs. Falling backwards I landed on something soft.

Looking down I saw I was now on a computer chair. 'God it has to be the most comfortable chair I've ever sat on. I wish I could have found one of these before it would have made my hours of gaming all the better. I mean seriously why do all the good chairs have to cost an arm and a leg.' Looking back up to the screen I noticed it changed.

I couldn't help but tilt my head in confusion. Reaching forward for the mouse I clicked on the text causing the screen to change showing only three options.

(1. Archon of Battle)

(2. Lord of Shadows)

(3. Arch Mystic)

'Well despite the limited option they at least sound powerful. I'm guessing since this is a class selection that these are higher versions of the classic 3. Now here is the main question do I want to be a Warrior, Rogue, or a Mage?'

'Well, I can rule out Lord of Shadows pretty easily. I was never good at stealth games or being patient. So it wouldn't be the best time to start now when my life could be on the line. Following that logic, I should count out Archon of Battle as well. I mean if I want to stay alive the best option is to stay as far away from the front line as possible.'

'Plus there is always all the different types of magic possible. I mean in a real-world scenario there has to be noncombat magic like cleaning spells. I've always hated cleaning plus there is cool stuff like flying and even cool sub-magics like enchanting and alchemy. So yep sold.'

Clicking on the "Arch Mystic" class my vision once again went dark.

3rd Pov

The rain poured down as a convoy of carriages passed through the forest. There were 10 in total. However, none of the carriages seemed to have a driver or anything pulling them.

Despite the muddy road they were driving down they didn't seem to be hindered in the slightest. Inside the carriages, excited chattering can be heard. In the third carriage with his head against the window asleep is a young teen of roughly fifteen.

His tousled black hair and angular jaw and sunken cheeks gave him a rough masculine charm that didn't fit his age. A small patch of black hair was starting to grow on his chin. As the carriage seemed to hit a particularly big rock it rocked hard causing his head to hit the window hard waking him with a start revealing startling red eyes that seemed to glow in contrast to his pale skin.

"Ow." The boy in question sat up rubbing his head to ease the pain as he looked at his surroundings. The inside of the carriage was high grade with royal blue silks and satans adorned with gold accents coating the interior giving it a warm but regal vibe. The inside of the carriage seemed far larger than logical as there were at least twenty others around his age either asleep or chatting quietly with one another.

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the pain in my head followed closely by the color blue. Blue floor, blue ceiling, blue bench back all accented by gold detailing. The whole area around me was set up in a bus style but all in blue.

'What the hell. Could of at least given me a heads-up or something. And why the hell was I even put in that exaggerated room for such a simple choice?' I mused to myself as I looked around. Beside me, there was a teen boy asleep and I could hear chattering around me. But I couldn't see anyone over the high-backed benches we were sitting on.

Seeing no the else around who could be helpful I decided to check out myself. The first big thing was all my aches and pains finally being gone. Death was worth it just for this. I was wearing what looked like the classic novice mage robes from Skyrim in dark blue. Thinking about it so is the other boy so I guess it is a uniform of some sort.

My hands are no longer the thick gnarled hands of a laborer but the long slim fingers of my youth. Feeling my face the structure felt the same and looking into the window confirmed the same. However instead of the thirty-year-old man with stubble I was my fifteen year old felt from my past life. How did I know my age?

Pretty obviously it's because of the pitiful excuse of facial hair I had on my chin. Like all other teen boys, I tried to grow it as soon as it started to come in but had shaved it off within two months because it looked just sad. So I'm somewhere just after I turned fifteen.

Ugg not looking forward to spontaneous erections again. Shaking that thought from my mind I thought back to what brought me here. There wasn't much to go off of besides the little info from the computer. This is a new game so should I have a status or something? As I thought that the info in question popped up
