Winter is so cold. I leaned on the door, my shoulder leaning on the glass, the cold seeping through my bland green sweater. I let out a deep breath, spreading a layer of white frost on the window, as the train came to a screeching halt, my friend had tapped my shoulder to the opposite side of the window
"Yo , you seem out of it today" he said while leaning next to my ear and exhaling a cold breath. I jumped back as he had startled me
And pressed my shoulder up against the freezing window even further, sending a chill down my body. "Hey why aren't the doors opening" I heard from the back of the train cart. I hadn't noticed it as my friend was distracting me but the doors weren't opening. Murmurs began to spread throughout the train and the train began to accelerate again. Those murmurs became louder and as the train moved faster and faster. Those murmurs turned into screams and I continued to stare outside of the window. My heart began to beat faster, the train accelerating pushed me even further against the window, not a thought went my mind as my heart began to beat faster and faster. Water began to build underneath my eyes, and after I blinked that water began to run down my face. The screams became defenaning , From the front of the train cart I hear " WERE GONNA CRASH". After that, the screams stopped, followed by thuds , I try to survey the train cart but my body was frozen. Outside the train was something, but I couldn't understand it in that moment. A coalition of shapes and colours , painting the train with a solemn purple glow. The water dripped from my eyes was bubbling on the tip on my chin, more water built up under my eyes but I was unable to blink it away. Staring out this window I began to feel insignificant. Just as how second dimensional creature would only be able to perceive an infinitely thin line of our third dimension, I was dumbfounded and frozen at the sight of something infinitely more complex than I could fathom.
