Walking down the hallway I couldn't help but think 'I wonder who's going to be my sensei?' After that thought I made it back to the classroom, and while looking over at Shikamaru, one of my classmates, and said "Shika you're next." He nodded his head and I heard him mutter "What a drag…" After I said that I made it back over to my seat which was right before the last row, next to the window. Like that, other classmates kept coming and going to take our graduation test to become shinobi of the leaf village. You see, I'm not in just a regular world, I'm in the Naruto world. You may wonder how do I know about the Naruto world? Well, that's because this isn't my first life, and during my previous life I watched all types of shows including a particular show called Naruto. I don't quite remember how I got here, but the last thing I remember was that I was walking home from work because my car broke down, and then the next thing I remembered was a pair of headlights that might've been from a truck from how they were placed.

Now, I know I watched the Naruto series but I haven't watched it in a couple years before the accident so I don't quite remember all the details, but I do remember most of the plot. Like, this is the beginning of cannon. Tonight Naruto is going to take the forbidden scrolls of seals and learn the shadow clone jutsu, and Mizuki is going to betray us and attack Naruto. Now I've been here for only about three years now so I was a little limited on what I could do, but during that time I trained my ass off with different exercises like weight lifting, running, and even setting up a makeshift obstacle course to train my speed and reflexes. Other than that, sadly I only know the academy three jutsu, and I haven't really messed with anything much so I can keep my future knowledge relevant. 

While I was waiting for everyone to finish their tests I thought to myself 'Sadly I'm an orphan I lost my parents during the Kubi attack. Currently I live in an apartment and am given an allowance each month for all of my needs. I've saved a decent amount so I could get decent shinobi supplies when I graduate. I will say I'm glad I know how to cook because it definitely saved me some money because eating out is expensive. Anyways, it kind of sucks that this is my last month for my allowance because as of today I'll be a shinobi. Meaning, I'll be seen as an adult in the eyes of the city council. So I hope doing missions pay well…' While I was thinking to myself Iruka Umino, our instructor came back into the room and I looked over at him in anticipation.

He waited for us all to settle down and said "Alright everyone, today is your last day officially as a student at the academy. For those of you who passed, congratulations! To those who didn't, you know your options. It's been an honour teaching all of you. If any of you need any advice or have any questions my door is always open to you. For those who graduated make sure you come here at the usual time tomorrow for your team assignments. With that all of you are dismissed!" We all cheered and with that our time as students ended and our career as shinobi started.

Now that I'm a shinobi, and wearing my hitai-ate on my forehead now I can go to the shinobi store and get some equipment I'll need. So after leaving the academy my first stop was a shop a lot of shinobi of Konoha are familiar with… "Higarashi's…" I said as I looked at the store's sign that was above the entrance to the shop. It was in Kanji and had a few kunai and shuriken on the sign. The shop was a decent size. It had a window that you could look into from the outside that displayed a few swords and a set of all black ninja armour, and you could also see a few rows of shelves behind it. After looking at the window I headed into the shop and was greeted by a chime from the door with a bell.

The place had a few customers already in it and from the looks of it they were shinobi shopping. I heard a 'Welcome in!' from the back of the store, and heard some quick footsteps come towards me. As I was waiting I looked around the store and saw there were a few rows of shelves with different tools and clothing a ninja would use and on the back wall I could see it was covered in a variety of weapons from Katanas all the way to a chain and sickle. After a few seconds I saw a familiar face from the academy I haven't seen for about a year. "Is that you Tenten?" She looked at me and smiled saying "How's it going Sasaki? It's been awhile." I smiled as well and said "It's been good, I actually just graduated from the academy and am in need of some ninja gear and probably a set of good quality clothes with some extra padding in it for some protection." She nodded her head and said "That's great to hear! I can show you around the shop and help you choose some clothes and gear. What's your budget?" I put on a thoughtful face and said "I could probably spare about 3,000 ryo." With that said Tenten and I caught up with her showing me around the store.

After about thirty minutes of shopping and exploring the shop I found myself in the changing room of the shop looking at myself in the mirror they had. I was about 5'5'', a bit taller than my age group and had a lean body build. I had long dark brown hair tied up in a man bun with a few strands hanging out at the front. I was currently wearing a tight black long sleeve shirt with shinobi pants on. Over my shirt I wore a dark green jacket, and I moved my hitai-ate to go over my right bicep so it doesn't mess with my hair. I also had two pouches on my thighs that carried some kunai and shuriken, and also a tanto was strapped to my back. Overall it cost me almost 4,000 ryo, which was almost all of my savings but I was convinced by Tenten that it's a good investment because it might save my life. The clothing was reinforced by a thin metal lining, almost like kevlar like from my old world, and the tanto was of a good quality. I also had a few sets of spare clothes in case mine broke. I couldn't afford the chakra metal tantos, which started at 10,000 ryo for a cheap one. Plus, I only got the tanto because it was good for my height and to train my kenjutsu. Once I get a bit taller I'll probably move to a katana.

After I made sure I was decent I moved out of the changing room and looked at Tenten and asked "Well, how do I look?" She smiled and said "You look better now, and are starting to look like a shinobi." I smiled at her and said "Thanks, the clothing is a little heavier than I'm used to but I'll get used to it." She nodded her head and said "Yeah, it'll be heavier but the quality's worth it. It's better than a kunai hitting you directly, it'll absorb a lot of the initial force but if someone imbues chakra to the kunai there won't be a lot of resistance so I would either dodge or block it with your own kunai." I nodded my head and said "Well, thanks for your help. I have some other stuff I have to do, so I'll see you around." She nodded her head and said "Yep, see ya." With that said I took off and headed over to a training ground on the outskirts of Konoha to practice the rest of the night.

I took a seat at my usual spot in the classroom and waited for everyone to show up. It took about ten minutes for everyone to show up with Iruka standing in front of us and was about to say something when the door opened and revealed Naruto. Iruka looked at Naruto then at his watch and said "Right on time Naruto, take a seat so we can start." Naruto grinned and said "Yep!" With him taking a seat Iruka started to speak and said "Now everyone today will be the day you are all sorted into teams. These people on your teams will be with you until you reach chunin and maybe even after that so be respectful to each other and get to know each other." He looked at all of us and continued "With that said I'll start with the team assignments. Team one…" I paid somewhat attention and looked around the classroom while the teams were being called and they seemed to be good choices. Then my ears perked up when I heard the last of the teams called " And team eight will be Kiba Inuzaka, Hinata Hyuga, And Shino Aburame led by Kurenai Yuhi." I started to get nervous as he hasn't called my name yet and was about to say something when Iruka looked like he remembered something and said "Oh yeah, Sasaki since there is an uneven number of students this year you are going to join an existing team that is in circulation." I nodded my head and he continued speaking "Unfortunately they lost a member on their most recent mission and they needed another member so that'll be you. As of today you will be part of team 2 led by Kenma Sarutobi." He looked at me to make sure I was paying attention and I nodded at his words. Iruka then spoke up and said "Now then, all of your new Jonin senseis should be here within the hour so just wait and get to know your new teammates." After he said that he went back to behind his desk and started working on some paperwork.

I looked at the person next to me who was Choji and was about to start speaking to him, but then the front door opened to reveal a man. He was about 6'2'' and has dark brown hair, and is wearing his hitai-ate on his forehead. He is wearing a sleeveless shirt with the Jonin vest over it, and is wearing black shinobi pants that have two pouches attached to them. He has a well built body with his arms having a lot of muscle on them. He walked up to Iruka and said something, with him nodding his head. He then looked at all of us and said "Sasaki Hana." I straightened my back and stood up and said "Yes." He nodded his head and said "Follow me." He started to walk away and I had to quickly get up so I could catch up to him. 

After getting out of the classroom and catching up to him I asked "Where are we going?" He looked at me and said "We're going to where your teammates are." I nodded my head and asked "Where's that at?" I saw him smirk and he shrugged his shoulders. "You tell me. You see this is a test for you, I want to see your information gathering skills. I'll give you your teammates names and I want you to find them. I won't help you in any way. In fact as soon as we step out of these doors you won't be able to find me, but I'll be watching you." We stopped right at the doorway to the academy and he continued "You have until five in the afternoon to find them. It gives you a nice ten hours to find them. Any questions?" 

I was surprised to get a test right away, I expected some type of test but nothing so soon. Anyways it looks like I have to find my two teammates. I looked back at my new sensei and asked "I have a couple, do they know I'm looking for them?" He nodded his head and said "Yes, I told them ahead of time so they'll be keeping an eye out for you." I nodded my head and asked " What are their names?" He grinned and said "Their names are Asta Muramasa, and Yuno Grinberryall. With that the test starts!" After he said that I blinked and he was gone.
