3rd person Pov
It was that in his dreams the goddess of wisdom and war, Athena, appeared. To do what? Dakimari had no answer to that, to help him? She praised him so maybe, killing him wouldn't do her any good, and just being a supportive relative isn't really in her nature.
Though maybe I'm being a little harsh Dakimari thought however all his questions were answered with just a simple sentence.
"I admire your ability to form plans on the go, even if it was slightly impacted by Hermes giving you a blessing." Athena stated though the last part she mumbled a bit.
"And so, I want to train you. Not just because of your actions but because of the potential I see in you." Potential? Dakimari thought, what potential? His green flames? No that wouldn't be enough, the fact that he has chakra. She's a goddess why would she be interested in that.

Okay don't screw this up me, this is your first other divine approaching you besides Hermes. "May I ask what potential Athena? I may be smart, but I barely knew how to fight or even attempt to damage that thing." Hearing this Athena just chuckles and smiles, "Kid, you're 4 years old and you already killed a monster that most people just in this world struggle with, not a lot of people have that courage and bravery or remain calm enough under pressure in order to think straight."
Okay she had a point, "I see but what will we be doing?" This might have been the worst question I ever asked in all of my lives, Athena proceeded to lay out her plan on how to train me, if I don't be at least chunin I'm going to hurt myself.
The plan consisted of running around the village 3 times per day and once I got used to that I would eventually be given weights to train with, mediate for multiple hours a day, and read tons of books about chakra theory and sealing arts for some reason which were the easy tasks at hand.
And then there were more! 75 pushups per day, 75 sit-ups per day, and then I would find out what weapon I am most comfortable with, I'm fine with this part, though if I ever want to get stronger, I'll have to do this eventually.
Especially since I can't use chakra at the moment this is good enough for me. I bowed and said, "Thank you Athena." And then I was off on my merry way until I woke up again... I'm going to hate this aren't I?

It's been a while, about a year since I met Athena, and I actually began to enjoy her company. Sure, we have differences, but she's been teaching me a lot of things and is actually reasonable, some of them I knew, some of them I didn't.
At first, I thought she would just be a heartless and strategic warrior who focused on nothing but achieving her goal, but then I realized she's compassionate.
That she stands up for what is right and inspires people to be better. Although she's made mistakes that she isn't proud of, everybody has made mistakes at least a hundred times in their lifetime.
I actually progressed under her training, I become strong enough to be around genin level and if I continue like this, I have the chance to be able to actually reach jonin rank.
And I'm pretty sure today is the day I get my weapons, I was already given a gift of a pouch with endless kunai and shuriken, but now today is when I actually gain real weapons that I'll use for the rest of my existence, although kunai and shuriken are useful unless I gain the fly thunder god seal, I won't, since I'm in the hidden cloud not leaf they're pretty useless against heavy hitters... though maybe I can make some use of them...
As I was pondering on how to do things I got contacted by Athena and Hermes... [Hey kiddo, it me your favorite uncle, Hermes, and Athena!] Hermes shouted through the call, can't believe he's still this loud even in a call.
Athena pushes him out of the way and says, [Happy birthday Daki, we got you some presents so check your home.] Right forgot it was my birthday, don't really celebrate it with anybody besides these two...
As I ran and made it to my house in just 5 minutes from the other side of the village, I'm getting fast, I say I had two gifts on my bed, I couldn't resist the urge, and so I ripped open them with Hermes smiling and Athena being slightly amused.
Inside the presents I found three things, shoes that look like from ancient Greece and two bracelets. Curious I put them on and then Athena had this to say, [The bracelets are from me, I asked Hephaestus to make them for you, imagine two swords in your hands and they shall appear.] then Hermes said, [The boots are one of my old ones, although they won't go as fast as my regular ones, they still boost your speed significantly.]
So, I gained boots that make me faster from Hermes and bracelets that turn into swords from Athena. I quickly thanked the both of them for this, this would make it so easy for me once I joined the academy, and if it's anything like Konoha's then I'm being the best.
In this year I have received two blessings from Athena, the blessing of remembering everything as clear as day and every detail, while the other was the blessing of knowledge. For the second blessing she just increased my iq and how fast I can learn things.
I quickly get out of my home to test out how fast I am now... I decided to test myself by going from my home to the ancient family cave, I usually get there in 50 minutes 46 is my fastest record.
I quickly broke that record when I moved at a speed, I think should be way above genin now. The amount of time I got to the cave is in 25 minutes, 25 minutes I went from 50 to half of that time.
So, these boots literally made me 2 times faster though they really drain stamina, I can barely run after this. I believe I can go slower and not get exhausted as much as this, I look down at the boots and think I'm going to enjoy this.
With a grin I begin running, my legs are burning inside, back to my home but not as fast I make it in 35 minutes still pretty good considering I haven't learned how to use chakra yet. I can't wait for the year I can use chakra...
