Chapter Two: Exploring the New Life
Gabriel awakened in his new world, where he possessed a new name and a new birth in a land called **Skarto**. He was the seventeenth son of a renowned swordsman family, and as the days passed, he began to realize that his previous experiences in Seraphos had not gone in vain, but had become part of his new composition.
His family was known for their harshness and skill in the art of combat, except for an unwritten rule: **the prohibition of using magic**. However, they could use the aura, although mastering it required a great deal of effort that could take ten years of continuous training. Many members of his family considered the aura an effective tool, but they did not share their knowledge of how to master it, making Gabriel realize that delving into the arts of the aura and magic would require him to make a doubled effort.
As the night fell and the competitions continued among his brothers, Gabriel began to feel surrounded and distracted, especially after suffering from the betrayal of some of those close to him in his previous life. Feelings of mistrust were seeping into his heart, for the sense of betrayal had weakened his self-confidence and trust in the people around him. He could no longer rely on anyone, even if it meant walking alone in his path.
One day, while wandering through the castle's corridors, he was met by his older brother, **Dreius**, who always took him as a target for his criticisms. Dreius looked at him with a sharp gaze and said, "Do you think you can be something great here, Gabriel? Magic is not for the likes of us. It's a weakness!"
Gabriel answered in a calm tone, despite feeling provoked: "It's not weakness to learn and master everything we can to achieve power."
"Be aware of yourself, boy. Combat is what makes us stronger, not the nonsense of magic." Dreius's words left a deep impression on Gabriel's heart, who began to feel that his family's walls were preventing him from exploring new aspects of his strength.
However, the betrayal he had previously experienced had taught him harsh lessons. Gabriel believed that a person's trust was built from experiences, and through conflicts with others. His family's indicators of courage relied heavily on physical strength and the flaws of external magic. But he knew that the lack of knowledge and the ability to master magic and the aura could have dire consequences.
During the following days, Gabriel spent long hours in solitude, assisted by the aura of the surrounding nature. While his family was busy with competitions and conflicts, he began to observe and listen to nature, weaving the threads of the aura around him silently.
With every exercise he performed, his faith in his power grew. He was building walls around his heart, and on them, one word: **no trust**. He knew very well that he had to rely only on himself and protect himself from what might come from future betrayal.
In a small forest, he met a young woman named **Elin**. She was skilled in the arts of nature, and what she possessed in skills caught his attention, but beside that, he had an inner wall that prevented him from trusting her. Yet, something in her eyes made him hesitate. There was a sense of loyalty, as if she shared in his struggle.
Elin decided to help him develop his aura skills, with her ability to deal with nature. As time passed, her training became more serious, but Gabriel always kept that distance. He was not yet ready to open his heart, even to those who wanted to help him. He had reserved himself in a prison of skepticism and caution, and he had to be careful.
Gabriel became aware that he had to move forward in learning the aura and magic, and build his own strength, away from anyone else, including his family. Every step he took, every training he reinforced, gave him confidence in himself and hope in achieving justice in this new world.
And so, Gabriel's journey began in delving into the training of the aura and magic, and although his heart was charged with distrust, he was determined to overcome these obstacles. The future was dark, but he realized that he had to face it with courage and determination.
