Chapter 10 - chapter 10

Derek stood atop a hill, gazing out upon his assembled demon army. They stretched out before him, a sea of twisted faces and razor-sharp claws.

"My dear friends," Derek began, his voice booming across the landscape. "Today, we embark on our greatest conquest yet. We will take the kingdom of supernaturals, and I will claim the throne that is rightfully mine."

The demons erupted into cheers, their voices echoing through the hills. Derek raised his hands, and the army fell silent once more.

"We will not be met without resistance," Derek warned. "The supernaturals will fight to the death to protect their kingdom. But I have faith in each and every one of you. We will emerge victorious, and we will claim our rightful place as the rulers of this world."

With a final burst of cheers, the demon army charged forward, descending upon the kingdom of supernaturals like a dark storm.

The battle was fierce and intense, with spells and claws clashing in a deadly dance. Derek fought at the forefront, his powers unleashing devastation upon the supernatural army.

As the day wore on, the supernatural army began to falter. Their numbers dwindled, and their strength began to wane. Derek sensed victory within his grasp, and he pressed his advantage.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the supernatural army surrendered. Derek stood victorious, his chest heaving with exhaustion.

With a wave of his hand, Derek summoned his most trusted advisor, a demon named Beezle.

"Beezle, bring me the throne," Derek commanded.

Beezle bowed, disappearing into the wreckage of the supernatural kingdom. He returned moments later, carrying a magnificent throne adorned with precious gems.

Derek sat upon the throne, a triumphant smile spreading across his face.

"I am the king of the supernaturals," he declared, his voice echoing through the kingdom.

As the demons cheered, Derek's thoughts turned to Lika. He had left her in the underworld, pregnant with his child. He sent Beezle to fetch her, eager to have her by his side as he ruled over his new kingdom.

Beezle returned with Lika, who looked pale and exhausted. Derek's heart went out to her, and he rose from his throne to greet her.

"My dear, I'm so sorry I had to leave you behind," Derek said, taking Lika's hand in his.

Lika smiled weakly, her eyes fluttering closed. "I'm just glad it's over," she whispered.

Derek's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with suspicion. Something was off about Lika's behavior. She seemed...different.

But he pushed aside his doubts, focusing on the task at hand. He had a kingdom to rule, and a child on the way.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Derek sat upon his throne, Lika by his side. The kingdom of supernaturals was his, and he would stop at nothing to keep it.

But as he gazed into Lika's eyes, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. That Lika was hiding something from him.

And he was determined to find out what it was.
