When Aoki and Murkrow reacted, they saw a small lilac coloured Pokemon in front of them, with the dead rabbit behind it.
With an aggressive stance, the small Pokemon was proclaiming its dominance over the rabbit.
It must be noted that, for this hare, it took a lot of effort for the small Pokemon to drive it out of the bushes. However, just as it succeeded it saw his prey killed by this guy in front of him when he came out. Fortunately, it was quick enough to snatch it away.

The Pokemon that appeared in front of Aoki and Murkrow was this Rattata. The move that it had just used to take away the hare was Quick Attack.
