Katherine watched Sakura from afar making sure that she was ok. She had left the village with Itachi and had joined a rouge group that became known as the Akuaski. It was a hard decision at the time but she knew that it was for the best. Forgive me Sakura. This is for the best. She thought while standing on the roof of a nearby house.
A boy in Sakura's newly appointed squad, he had spiked yellow hair and blue eyes. He wore an orange jumpsuit. Katherine smirked. Naruto Uzumaki. Minato, you, and Kushina would have been proud of this little brat. He's made Genni. Katherine thought. She stood up before vanishing. "Hey, Sakura? Is it true that your sister abandoned the village?"
Sakura punched him. "My sister never abandoned the village. She's on a mission that the 3rd Hokage sent her." At least I hope that's the case. She thought. Her sensei, Kakashi Hatake arrived and informed the team about their first mission. "So what are supposed to do on this mission, sensei?"
Kakashi smiled. "A small town within the Hidden Village of the Water is being attacked by some bandits and Lord Hokage wishes us to investigate it. He suspects that the bandits are looking for something. There is a secret scroll that holds forbidden jutsu."
Sakura nods. "Is this a good mission for a team of Genni?"
Kakashi chuckled. "Lord 3rd has the greatest faith in us. Don't worry about it, Sakura."
Katherine watched as Kakashi led the team out of the main gate of the village. She couldn't help but know that her sister was about to embark on her first quest. She left and headed back towards her parent's house. She knocked on the door not knowing what her parent's reaction would be.
Mebuki opened the door and started to cry upon seeing her eldest daughter. "Katherine!!! You're home. You've changed so much." She hugged her daughter.
Katherine smiled. "Hello, mother." She looked up as she noticed her father.
Kizashi also embraced her. "Katherine, where have you been?"
"I've been very busy so I haven't been able to visit," Katherine said unable to tell her parents her real reason why she was in the village.
Kizashi frowned. "What do you mean? You must stay for dinner."
Katherine shook her head. "I wish I could, dad but I should get going." With that, she left.
A few hours later, Kakashi and his team returned from their mission. They made it to the Hokage's office to report the succession of the mission. Kakashi knocked on the door before hearing, "Come in." He entered to see a confused look on the Hokage's face. "Lord 3rd, is everything ok?"
The 3rd Hokage sat back in his chair. "Kakashi, come in. How was your squad's first mission?"
Kakashi smiled. "Everything went well for the most part. I was impressed that Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke held their own." His smile faltered. Something doesn't feel right. There's something else going on here. I don't know what. We return home from the kid's first mission and Lord Hokage isn't as happy as I thought he would be.
Sartobi sat back. "How much do you know about Katherine Haruno?"
Kakashi froze. "She was very well known for being a very powerful kounchi in the village. After graduating from the Ninja Academy she went on to enter the Aubo Blackops at the age of 16 along with Itachi Uchiha. After that, she becomes an S-rank rouge and criminal."
Sakura blinked. My sister would never go rogue or become an S-rank criminal. She thought.
Sartobi nodded. "It seems she has been spotted in the village."
Kakashi nodded. "What do you wish my team do about it? We just returned from a mission. Catching a rouge ninja is beyond them."
