Chapter 20 - Book 1 : The Commencement

In the void, naught did exist,

Empty, without form, without sound.

Yet from this emptiness arose light,

Which shone upon the realm, defying the darkness of the soul.

Light met darkness,

Both did touch, bound in eternity.

From their union, Atheros was born,

A light that embraced the world in beauty and prayer.

Atheros created with hands of love,

Stars did shine in the boundless sky,

A celestial order, planets danced in harmony,

A new world, where life did bloom.

From Atheros, Angels did arise, soaring in the heavens,

And Devils, with darkness that challenged the light.

Then, other creations did come in line,

Dragons, elves, fae, orcs, dwarves, and all creatures without end.

Yet, though all creation was present,

Atheros felt a void within the heart,

In the stillness of night, Atheros wept,

From his tears, humanity was born, a being of deep feeling.

Humankind, who bore will,

Who created and destroyed,

Who sought the light and fell in shadow.

In the silence that flows across the heavens and earth, when this eternal universe was first etched from the boundless void, Atheros, the Guardian of the Cosmos, heard a call so deep, so pure, it resonated in every whisper of wind and every ray of light. This world, with all its shimmering radiance and unspeakable charm, needed more than a creation born of mere physical force; this world required an eternal guardian, one who could protect every pore of creation, touched by time and space, one who could shield every being—from the fragile human to the magical creatures, ablaze with mystery and boundless power. Thus, from unimaginable depths, Atheros called forth His twelve Orchestras, the Keepers of Immortality, who would guard not only humanity but all beings cloaked in the essence of this universe—across the untouched corners of dimension, beyond the reach of time.

Each Orchestra held its own soul, its voices carved by fate to compose the symphony of life, maintaining balance in the grandeur of this cosmos. They were the voices that flowed from Atheros, His hands reaching into every inch of creation—from Dragons soaring in fiery grace, to Elves stepping in wisdom, to Dwarves, strong and steadfast, to Sorcerers filled with timeless knowledge, to magical beings glowing and vanishing like fairies, to Elementals commanding nature, to Orcs, blooded in heat, shape-shifters evolving with time, all—these beings, whether birthed in light or in darkness, required guidance to maintain the harmony of this fragile universe. Only in their hands, under their guidance, could this world endure, staying woven in a perfect symphony.

Seraphiel, leader of all Orchestras, was the first echo that shook the heart of the universe. His wings spread wide, burning the heavens with an immeasurable light, playing a melody that united all creation—creating harmony from imperfection. From the brightest radiance to the deepest shadows, Seraphiel taught that in every step of creation, even amidst storms and trials, there remains a light that will never fade. Through His eternal song, He ensured that all beings—from the frailest to the mightiest—would walk together in wisdom, flowing in one unbreakable stream of life.

Helel, the guardian of harmony, spoke in a voice as gentle as a twilight breeze, bringing tranquility and peace. His voice resonated in soft waves, touching the hearts of all beings—from the wise Elves to the blazing Dragons. With each note, Helel wove balance, teaching that light and darkness, strength and softness, are two sides of the inseparable coin. In His silence, He bound the entire universe in an unspoken harmony, creating peace among the diverse magical beings.

Sammael, the tester, was the echo of deep darkness, a voice that was unstoppable, a melody that shook every soul. In His resounding voice, Sammael brought challenges, testing the endurance of every being, from the weak human to the mighty magical creature. Every trial, every tribulation revealed in His waves of sound was a step toward growth, a journey toward maturity. Without trials, there is no improvement—without tribulation, there is no refinement. With every tremor that reverberated, Sammael ensured the universe remained steadfast on its path, even as waves of wrath surged.

Michael, the unstoppable protector, ran between worlds with His unyielding sword, spreading a song of courage. In His voice, the entire universe trembled, reminding all creation of the battle that rages between light and dark. Michael is the fire that blazes in the darkness, sharpening every battle, leading wounded beings, and guarding the world from destruction, whether from without or within. Through every step, every clash of His sword, Michael ensured the universe stayed protected.

Uriel, the bringer of wisdom's light, was a voice that flowed like a clear river, opening the eyes that were closed. In every song of Uriel, the world found answers, the universe found meaning, and every being—from the Sorcerer seeking secrets to the Dragon flying in wisdom—found a certain direction. Uriel taught that knowledge is light brighter than any glitter, that in every understanding, there is a lantern that illuminates the foggy path.

Gabriel, the bringer of revelation, was a voice that glided softly, delivering messages from Atheros, the Creator. Through His echo, Gabriel brought destiny, purpose, and revelation for all who seek answers. In His tone, there is a whisper of fate, guidance for those lost in a world filled with doubt. Gabriel touches the souls in confusion, leading each being to the light they need, without exception.

Galael, the angel of infinite tenderness, sang a song that healed. In every note, boundless love flowed unceasingly, reminding every creation—from the strongest to the weakest—that love is a power greater than any force. His voice is medicine for the wounded, a soothing balm for the restless, making the world a better place simply through infinite compassion.

Siciel, the guardian of honor, was the echo of truth, never distorted. In every note, Siciel preserved the noble values etched in the hearts of all beings, reminding them of the integrity they must uphold. From every sound of His voice, those who strayed felt shame, and those who stood in the light of honor were treated with respect. Siciel's voice is a sword that cuts through falsehoods, ensuring the world remains just and true.

Marphael, the angel of patience, sang a song that flowed with time unhurried, caressing every soul that had fallen. In His serenity, Marphael taught that patience is a spring that never runs dry, reminding hasty beings that all things need time to grow. In His voice, the world found peace, teaching that only with patience can noble goals be achieved.

Sariel, the guardian of justice, was a note that flowed like a sharp sword, slicing through darkness with truth. Sariel upheld the laws of the universe, untouched by deceit or lies. In every echo, true justice is enforced, ensuring that every action carries the proper consequence. With His keen eyes, Sariel made sure no one could escape the truth He brought.

Yohanel, the healer of peace, was a voice that soothed every wounded soul, ensnared in confusion. Yohanel brought relief, healing every inner wound with His unparalleled gentleness. In every tone of His song, a world full of tears found comfort, and every wounded being found the path to healing.

Rukiel, the angel of connection, was a voice that wove the thread between the visible and the unseen, linking all creation to Atheros and the higher cosmos. Through His flowing melody, Rukiel reminded that all creation is bound in an inseparable grand symphony, and in every sound, there lies an eternal message waiting to be conveyed.

Yet, despite the devotion of these Orchestras in guarding the world, Atheros felt a deep unease in His heart. Humanity, born from His tears, began to doubt the light He had given them. In the freedom they had received, many had gone astray, trapped in darkness, and Atheros called upon the Orchestras to descend, not only to guard humanity but to restore the balance of the universe, to protect every being, and ensure they find their way back to the eternal light.

"Guide them all," Atheros said with a trembling voice, "Lead them even if they fall into shadow. They are part of the universe I have created, and within every creation, there is light and darkness. They must find their own balance."

At His command, the Orchestras descended, spreading the melody of life throughout the cosmos—guarding, guiding, and protecting creation on their journey toward the eternal light.
