Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Origimaru were injured from the fight with Hanzo the salamander.
Fortunately, Tsunade was the best at medical ninjutsu so they were not seriously injured and could escape from the clutches of death.

Jiraiya said with so much energy despite almost dying like them. He was less bothered by it.
"When the war is in our favour we should retreat for now so the table wouldn't have turned on us."
War was not about total destruction but about how much they could gain while paying less.
This 2nd ninja world war was far less destructive than the first one but the poor innocents suffered the same.
Tsunade and Jiraiya didn't like it but there was nothing they could do.
"I am going to be off the grid for a while."
Jiraiya suddenly said that he would not go back to Konoha. Tsunade and Orochimaru knew why.
"Are you going to take them as your disciples?"
"Nah, I will not. It takes a lot of work to take in just one, don't mention three of them. I am going to establish my personal network. Information is something we need in order not to be beaten again like this…"
They underestimate Hanzo too much and they almost lost their lives. He was not as strong as their Kage, Sarutobi Hiruzen though. But he was still stronger than the three of them combined.
Tsunade and Orochimaru went silent. They understood him. They knew that if they had better informants they could make a lot more preparations.
The war could be much safer if they had known more.

"Lady Tsunade, I have something very important to inform you."
"What is it?"
Tsunade was looking at the unknown teenager with great interest. She could tell that his body wasn't normal just by looking.
"It is about him. His name is Koen Kumohito. He processes the bloodline of the Koen clan."
"Koen clan! You mean the Koen clan that went missing two hundred years ago during the war era?"
Tsunade was surprised. She knew that the unknown teenager was special but she never thought that he would be someone from the Koen clan.
Both Jiraiya and Orochimaru felt the same as her. They didn't know much about the clans during the war era but they heard that all the clans during the war era were very strong.
The Koen clan should be as strong as the Senju and Uchiha if they were still around.
Tsunade as fast as lightning appeared before the teenager.
