Chapter 3 - The New Skibidi Teen Life ( っ’-‘)

Krimson lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling with a small smile tugging at his lips. Alora's kiss lingered in his thoughts, a soft warmth spreading through his chest. He couldn't remember the last time he felt like this, if ever. What's happening to me? he wondered, shaking his head slightly but still grinning like a fool.

Across the orphanage, in her room, Alora sat cross-legged on her bed, scrolling aimlessly through her phone. The events of the day played like a highlight reel in her mind: the dance competition, the rap battle, the pizza with new friends, and especially Krimson. He's annoying, she told herself, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. But not always.

Her phone buzzed, jolting her from her thoughts. A notification popped up, it was a message from Iris on Instagram.

Iris: Hey, y'all good? Did you make it back safe?

Alora quickly typed back.

Alora: Yup! We're back. Thanks for today, it was fun.

Just as she hit send, her phone buzzed again. This time, it was from Krimson.

Krimson: You alive, or did today wipe you out?

She smirked, rolling her eyes as she typed her response.

Alora: Alive and thriving, unlike your rapping skills.

In his dorm, Krimson chuckled when he saw her reply.

Krimson: Wow, okay. Coming from someone who almost tripped during their "amazing" moves.

Alora: Tripped or not, I won. What about you? Did you finally admit you're not annoying?

Krimson: Yeah, no. I'm still your favourite annoyance.

Meanwhile, Krimson's phone buzzed again, it was Iris, who had sent the same message to both him and Alora

Iris: Hey, y'all good? Did you make it back safe?

Krimson replied, grinning.

Krimson: Yeah, thanks for the invite! Y'all really know how to make a day lit.

Moments later, Alora and Krimson both smiled at their respective phones, unaware they were thinking about each other at the same time.

Krimson's thoughts were interrupted by a shout from across the dorm.

"Yo, Krimson!" one of his dorm mates called out. "Miss Alvy's asking about you and Alora. Something about y'all coming back late."

Krimson groaned, tossing his phone aside. Of course, she noticed. He rubbed his temples, already dreading the conversation he knew was coming. But as he sank back into his bed, his grin returned. Totally worth it.

Back in her room, Alora yawned, setting her phone down. Exhaustion finally began to settle in, but her mind was still replaying the day's happiest moments. For both Krimson and Alora, sleep came slowly, but when it did, it was filled with dreams of laughter, music, and each other.

The orphanage compound came alive with the unmistakable Cook-a-Doodle! of the rooster, sending echoes through the dorms. But these weren't the days when kids leapt out of bed to brush their teeth. This was the age of Gen Z and Gen Alpha, where the first instinct wasn't hygiene, it was checking phones.

Krimson groaned, squinting at the screen as notifications poured in. A grin spread across his face. "Damn, yesterday was wild".

Meanwhile, in her room, Alora was already busy scrolling through Instagram, her legs swinging off the edge of her bed as friend requests and DMs flooded in.

"Well, hello, new friends," she mumbled to herself, following back a bunch of people with a smirk. Just then, a familiar name popped up, Iris was online.

Alora: Hiii Iris 👋

Iris: Yo, what's popping, queen? 👑

Alora: Cool 😎, you?

Iris: Just vibing. Planning to go out after school 🛍️

Alora: Ugh 😩, I forgot to tell Miss Alvy I want to attend an actual high school 😬

Alora sighed, tossing her phone onto the bed before jumping up to get ready.

In the boys' dorm, Krimson was texting Max between reels of skateboarding fails.

Krimson: Dawg

Max: Yo gee, was about to text you 📲. What's up?

Krimson: Cool. What's the move?

Max: Planning to chill after school with Iris 🎶

Krimson: That's lit 🔥

Krimson: Oh shoot... I just remembered. I was supposed to talk to Miss Alvy about high school 🤦

Krimson rubbed his face, groaning. "I can't be the guy who forgets something that important". With that, he set his phone aside and got ready for the day.

As Alora approached Miss Alvy's office, she hesitated, her palms slightly sweaty. "What if she says no?" She knocked lightly and stepped in.

"Hey, Miss," she greeted, trying to sound casual.

"Good morning, Alora!" Miss Alvy beamed. "How are you? How was yesterday?"

"Great! Yesterday was awesome," Alora replied, her tone brightening.

"That's wonderful to hear. What brings you here so early?" Miss Alvy asked, folding her hands on her desk.

Alora shifted nervously. "I wanted to ask... if I could stop home schooling and, um, attend a regular high school?"

Miss Alvy raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised, but a smile crept across her face. "Well, that's unexpected... but absolutely! Why didn't you say something sooner?"

"I just didn't think about it until now," Alora admitted, her cheeks flushing.

Miss Alvy chuckled. "It's no problem. I'll get you signed up before tomorrow."

"Does that mean I start tomorrow? That's so lit!" Alora exclaimed, practically bouncing out of her seat.

Meanwhile, Krimson had just finished brushing his teeth when a message popped up.

Iris: Alora just went offline. She said she's asking Miss Alvy about the high school stuff 🏫

Krimson: Catch you later ✌️

Iris: Later, boss 😎

He threw on a hoodie and jogged to Miss Alvy's office, mentally rehearsing what he was going to say. When he got there, Alora was already leaving. Their eyes met, and both grinned like they were sharing a secret.

"Well, look at this! Both of you here for the same thing?" Miss Alvy teased, raising an eyebrow.

"Haha, nah, just a coincidence," Krimson laughed awkwardly. "I was gonna ask if I could..."

"...attend high school?" Miss Alvy finished, cutting him off with a playful smile.

"Yeah, that's exactly it," Krimson said, blinking in surprise.

Miss Alvy waved dismissively. "You and Alora must be on the same wavelength today. Don't worry, I'll handle everything. Both of you are good to go for tomorrow."

After breakfast, Alora quickly hopped back online.

Alora: I'm back 🖤

Iris: What'd she say?

Alora: SHE SAID YES!!! Starting tomorrow 🎉

Iris: Bet! I'll be watching you tomorrow 👀. Right now, I'm stuck in class 📚

Alora: Cool. Good luck! ✨

Meanwhile, Krimson updated Max.

Krimson: We're starting tomorrow, bruv ✊

Max: That's hype! Can't wait to see you there 🤟

Max: My tutor's here. Later, gee 🤓

Just as Krimson was about to dive back into his reels, his phone buzzed again.

Alora: Let's meet outside ✨

Krimson: Aight, pookie. Be there in a sec 😉

Alora: Hehe...

Curious, Krimson headed out to find Alora waiting with an Uber already parked.

"What's this about?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Just trust me. Get in," she said with a sly grin.

Shrugging, he slid into the backseat beside her. They shared a quick kiss, then spent the ride scrolling through their phones. When the car finally stopped, Alora turned to him with a dramatic flourish.

"Krimson, welcome to Pieter Resort!"

Krimson stepped out of the car and stared up at the sleek, luxurious building. "Whoa. This place looks fancy as hell."

Inside, the resort was even more impressive, crystal-clear pools, neon lights, and luxury everywhere they looked. The faint thump of

music led them toward the pool party, where teens lounged under cabanas, splashed in the water, and chilled by the bar.

"Why are we here, though?" Krimson asked, his curiosity growing.

"There's a pool party going on," Alora said casually, waving her phone.

"At 11:48 in the morning?" Krimson asked, glancing at his phone.

"They don't close till 3. Don't worry," she replied with a wink.

They paid the entrance fee and stepped into a scene straight out of Instagram. Alora grabbed Krimson's arm, pulling him toward a nearby shop. Moments later, she emerged with a black bikini, sleek and stylish, while Krimson carried swim trunks she'd handed him.

When she stepped out in her bikini, Krimson froze. "Girl, you're dangerous. You can't just walk around looking like that."

Alora grinned, spinning playfully. "Why stress yourself? I'm all yours, remember?" she teased before diving straight into the pool.

Krimson stood there, stunned, replaying her words. "This girl..." he muttered before shaking his head and diving in after her.

For hours, they splashed around, chasing each other through the water, laughing until their cheeks hurt. At one point, Alora swam up to him, leaning close with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Let's take some pictures," she said, pulling out her waterproof phone case.

"Here? In the pool?" Krimson asked, skeptical.

"Why not?" she said with a shrug.

They moved to the shallow end, posing dramatically, peace signs, silly faces, and exaggerated pouts. Finally, Alora floated toward him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Smile," she whispered, but before Krimson could react, she leaned in and kissed him. The camera clicked just as their lips met.

Krimson pulled back, laughing. "Oh, now you're just showing off!"

"That's the point," she teased, snapping a couple more photos before they returned to splashing around.

By 2:40, they were lounging at the bar, Alora editing the pictures on her phone while Krimson munched on pizza. She uploaded a series of photos to Instagram, fun moments in the pool, candid smiles, and, of course, the kiss.

Minutes later, her phone buzzed with notifications as the likes and comments began rolling in. Alora grinned and turned the screen to Krimson.

"Look at this," she said excitedly.

Krimson leaned in, smirking. "We're going viral, huh?"

Krimson chuckled. "The internet's undefeated, man."

"They're loving it!" Alora said, her smile wide as the notifications kept buzzing.

"Yeah, yeah. You're the star here," Krimson teased, pretending to roll his eyes.

"Correction. We're the stars," she replied, nudging him playfully.

At 3 PM, changed back into their clothes and waited for the Uber. Krimson turned to Alora, his voice dropping slightly. "Hey... earlier, when you kissed me for the picture, did you mean it, or was that for show?"

Alora smirked, arms crossed. "What do you think?"

Krimson felt his face heat up. "I don't know, that's why I'm asking!"

She leaned closer, whispering, "I don't kiss just anyone, you know."

Krimson opened his mouth to respond, but the Uber pulled up. "Saved by the car," Alora teased, hopping in.

During the ride back, Alora's phone buzzed nonstop with more likes and comments. She glanced over at Krimson, who was staring out the window, unusually quiet.

"What's on your mind?" she asked, poking his arm.

"Nothing. Just tired," he replied, stifling a yawn.

"Uh-huh," Alora said knowingly, before turning her attention back to her phone. She scrolled through the pictures again, a small smile tugging at her lips as she stared at the kiss.

When they finally reached the orphanage, Krimson helped her out of the car, stretching dramatically. "Man, I need a nap after today."

"Same," Alora agreed, linking arms with him as they walked toward the entrance.

Just as they reached the door, Krimson glanced at her. "You know, you're really something else."

Alora grinned. "I'll take that as a compliment."

In the early hours of the morning, birds chirped, most students prepared for school, unlike Alora and Krimson. They were still in bed, sleeping like new born babies. Honestly, who the fuck likes school anyway? They'd already decided to blow it off. Two hours passed. It was 6 a.m., and they were still knocked out. Miss Alvy had had enough. She sent their dorm mates to wake them up. They jolted out of bed, realizing with excitement it was their first day of school. They scrambled to the bathroom, toothbrushes in hand, checking their feeds as they brushed.

"Shit, GNX is lit as fuck," Alora mumbled through a mouthful of toothpaste, her phone in one hand.

Meanwhile, Krimson was in the shower, blasting music. "Baby, I see something in your nose…" he sang along loudly.

By the time they were dressed and packed, they bolted to Miss Alvy's office. Krimson ran like The Flash, while Alora wasn't far behind, though he still beat her there. Both knocked on the door, waiting.

"She's always taking her sweet-ass time," Krimson muttered.

Instead of complaining, they glanced at each other. His mind raced: Damn, she's fine as hell. Meanwhile, Alora's thoughts went wild: "OMG, this dude is just… ugh, too much. I need to make him mine already." They caught each other's gaze and burst into laughter, the tension thick between them.

Suddenly, the door swung open. "Oh hey, kids. You're ready already?" Miss Alvy asked.

"Yeah," they replied in unison, glancing at each other before giggling like idiots.

Miss Alvy chuckled. "Wait for me in the car."

They sat in the car waiting for her, scrolling through their phones while music played. "They not like us, they not like us," Krimson murmured along to the beat, nodding his head, fully immersed in the quality of his Galaxy Buds. Meanwhile, Alora scrolled through Instagram, annoyed by the shitty sound quality of her iPod but too entertained to care.

"Yo, no fucking way. There's already a competitor to GTA 6 before 2025," she thought, grinning.

Miss Alvy finally appeared, and the car ride went by in a blur. When they reached the school, the place was buzzing with life. Teenagers everywhere.

"Damn, this shit is packed," Alora said as she stepped out of the car.

They followed Miss Alvy to the principal's office. After what felt like hours of registration, they were finally assigned a class. To their surprise, they ended up with Iris and Max.

As soon as they walked in, the four of them lit up like Christmas trees. They wanted to rush over and hug each other but played it cool instead. After brief introductions, they were assigned seats. Four minutes into English class, the siren blared for lunch.

Before heading out, Max leaned over to the pair sitting in front of them. "Yo, you mind swapping with Alora and Krimson?" he asked, his tone casual but firm.

Luckily, they agreed, and the four of them high-fived before heading to the dining hall. As they entered, heads turned.

"Holy shit, isn't that the trending couple on Instagram?" a girl whispered at a nearby table.

"Yeah, and they fucking killed it in this year's Auraland dance and rap competition," another replied.

"Damn, I've gotta be friends with them. I need some of that fame," the first girl said, already planning her move.

Alora and Krimson sat with Iris, Max, Alyssa, and Kenny, immediately hitting it off. Jess, however, couldn't resist making an appearance.

"Hey, I'm a huge fan. I've commented on and liked all your posts," Jess said with an exaggerated smile.

Max leaned over to Alora and whispered, "She's fake as hell. Only here 'cause y'all are famous."

Taking the cue, Alora replied sarcastically, "Oh, thank you sooo much. I'm, like, a big fan of you too," followed by a fake laugh.

The table erupted into giggles, causing others to stare. Jess scowled but played it off.

The siren rang, ending lunch. As they returned to class, the math teacher targeted Alora and Krimson with questions, clearly doubting their skills.

"Where are you two from? You're way too good at this," he asked after they nailed every question.

"We've just been working our asses off," Alora replied confidently.

The teacher nodded. "Y'all should take notes," he told the class before assigning homework.

After school, Jess couldn't help but stir the pot. She pretended to trip, dumping her lunch all over Alora, Iris, and Krimson.

"What the fuck is your problem?" Krimson snapped, wiping the food off his shirt.

Iris glared daggers at Jess. "Bitch, do you even know how to walk?" she spat.

Jess shrugged, feigning innocence, but Alora wasn't having it. "You're not slick, Jess. Keep pulling shit like this, and we'll see what happens," she warned, her voice cold.

Back in their dorms, Alora and Krimson worked on their homework but were distracted by notifications of videos and posts about them circulating online. Despite the drama, their fame kept growing. They smiled at the support, vowing silently to outshine any haters.

By the next day, Alora and Krimson were buzzing with even more followers and likes. Max taught them how to monetize their content. When they checked their earnings, Alora had over $11 million, and Krimson wasn't far behind.

"Holy shit, we're fucking rich," Krimson exclaimed, staring at his phone.

"Damn, imagine the shit we can do with this money," Alora added, her mind racing.

"It was," he muttered, looking away quickly to hide his blush.

She laughed softly. "Better get used to it, Krimson. Tomorrow, we're gonna take high school by storm."

"Can't wait," Krimson replied, shaking his head with a smile.

With that, they both headed to their dorms, the notifications still buzzing away in the background as their pool day lived on, liked, shared, and commented on by everyone who saw it.

The weekend finally arrived, and the much-anticipated house party at Alvin's mansion was the talk of the school. Everyone who was anyone was going to be there, and Alvin's sprawling house, complete with a massive pool and DJ booth, promised nothing short of an epic night.

When Krimson, Alora, Max, and Iris pulled up in Max's car, the place was already buzzing with energy. The sound of music thumped in the distance, and neon lights lit up the sky.

"Damn, Alvin's really flexing tonight," Max said as they walked toward the house.

"No shit. This place looks like a fucking music video," Krimson replied, adjusting his hoodie.

Alora smirked. "Let's just hope he doesn't start charging for entry halfway through the night. Dude loves his cash."

They stepped inside, greeted by a crowd of dancing teens, a table loaded with snacks, and Alvin himself, who waved them over.

"My superstars!" Alvin exclaimed dramatically. "Finally, you're here. This party just went from a ten to a fucking eleven!"

"Yeah, yeah, keep hyping us up, Alvin," Iris said, rolling her eyes but grinning.

The group split up to explore the party. Alora and Krimson ended up by the pool, surrounded by a group of students who were clearly more interested in them than the actual party.

After an hour of mingling, Alora stepped away from the crowd, needing a break from all the attention. She found a quiet spot near the poolside, the glow of the water reflecting on her face. Moments later, Krimson joined her, holding out a drink.

"Thought you could use this," he said, leaning against the railing beside her.

"Thanks," she said, taking the cup. "It's kinda overwhelming, huh?"

"Yeah, no shit. But you handle it better than anyone I know," he replied, his gaze steady on her.

Alora laughed softly, brushing her hair behind her ear. "You always know what to say."

"Maybe," he said with a smirk. "Or maybe I just like saying the truth."

She turned to face him fully, their eyes locking in the dim light. There was a moment of silence, the party noise fading into the background.

"Krimson…" Alora began, but before she could say more, he leaned in, capturing her lips with his. It was soft at first, hesitant, but then it deepened, and the rest of the world seemed to disappear.

Unbeknownst to them, Iris had been walking by and caught the kiss on camera. Grinning mischievously, she snapped a quick photo and posted it to her feed with the caption: "Couple of the year? Yeah, I think so."

When Alora and Krimson finally pulled away, slightly breathless, Alora smiled. "You know Iris is gonna milk this moment for all it's worth, right?"

Krimson chuckled, shrugging. "Let her. I don't care who knows."

Later that night, after the party wound down, the group decided to head home. But instead of going straight to the orphanage, Krimson and Alora asked Max and Iris to drop them off at a nearby hotel.

"You two behave," Max teased as they climbed out of the car.

"Don't wait up," Alora shot back with a sly smile before disappearing inside with Krimson.

In their hotel room, the atmosphere shifted as soon as the door closed behind them. Alora turned to Krimson, her eyes searching his.

"Are you sure about this?" she asked softly.

He stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "I've never been more sure about anything."

Their lips met again, this time with more urgency. Clothes were discarded, barriers falling away as they moved to the bed. They explored each other's touch, the intimacy between them growing deeper than either had imagined.

It wasn't just physical—it was the culmination of months of trust, longing, and unspoken emotions. In that room, they weren't the school's power couple or Auraland champions. They were just Alora and Krimson, two people finding solace and passion in each other.

By the time they left the hotel, it was nearly 11 PM. They drove back to the orphanage in a comfortable silence, their fingers interlocked as Krimson kept one hand on the wheel.

As they pulled up outside the darkened building, Alora turned to Krimson, a soft smile on her lips. "Thanks for tonight. For everything."

Krimson leaned over, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Anytime, Alora. You mean everything to me."

They quietly slipped inside the orphanage, careful not to wake anyone as they made their way to their respective rooms. As Alora lay in bed that night, her heart still racing from the evening's events, she couldn't help but feel that everything had changed but in the best way possible .

It was a Sunday morning when an unknown luxury car pulled up at the orphanage's parking lot. The woman inside, who had requested to speak with Miss Alvy, asked about adopting a teenager. Miss Alvy, always careful and patient, showed her the book that contained pictures of all the teens at the orphanage. The woman browsed through it, her fingers hesitating on a few pages before she finally stopped.

Alora's picture caught her eye. "She looks pretty and cool," the woman thought, and made her choice.

Miss Alvy called Alora over the intercom. At first, Alora didn't hear it, too busy texting on her phone. She didn't realize she was being called until the second announcement. Her phone slipped from her hand as she rushed to Miss Alvy's office, confused but curious.

"Hey, Alora," Miss Alvy greeted her with a smile. "I didn't call you here for anything serious. This woman here wants to adopt you. Are you ready?"

Alora stood still for a moment, her thoughts racing. "Um… I'll have to think about it, Ma'am," she replied, unsure but intrigued.

"Okay, take the day to think about it," Miss Alvy nodded, knowing this was a big decision for her.

Alora left with a bittersweet smile. As she walked to her room, she couldn't help but think about Krimson. "What's he going to do without me here?" she wondered. She quickly texted him to meet her at their usual spot. Krimson agreed, and soon they were sitting together. Alora explained everything about the adoption offer, and after she finished, tears started to form in her eyes. She was excited about the new life ahead but sad to leave Krimson behind.

"I'll miss you so much," Alora said through her tears.

Krimson, wiping his own tears, held her close. "We'll still text on Instagram. And I can visit you. I have the right to go out now, so don't worry."

Alora smiled, feeling a little better. The two spent hours talking, trying to make the most of their time. When Miss Alvy called again, Alora knew it was time to leave. But before she went, she kissed Krimson deeply on the lips. Krimson blushed, not expecting it. Alora waved goodbye, and they both turned back to look at each other, their hearts heavy.

As the agreement was finalized, Alora got into the luxury car with her new mom. Krimson, standing on the porch, watched her leave, his emotions a mix of sadness and frustration. He quickly shut down, getting annoyed easily, and withdrew into himself. He barely interacted with anyone, choosing instead to stay alone, buried in his phone. The only time he smiled was when he was with Alora at school, and even then, he made sure not to miss a single day, no matter how sick he was.

A few days later, a man came into the orphanage looking to adopt a child. After a brief search, he chose Krimson. Already in despair, Krimson didn't care who adopted him. He agreed immediately. On the way to his new home, Krimson stayed quiet, deep in thought. But when they arrived, he couldn't believe what he saw, just like the luxury car that came to pick up Alora, his new family lived in a mansion.

Krimson smiled, not realizing his new life was about to change in ways he couldn't yet imagine.

When he entered the house, he quickly ran to his new room, not to relax, but to text Alora the good news. Alora saw the message and looked out her window. To her surprise, she spotted Krimson with his phone. She texted him to look over at her window. Krimson's heart raced. They both rushed downstairs and met in the yard, running toward each other.

Alora jumped into Krimson's arms, and they kissed deeply, as if time had stopped. Their new siblings watched in curiosity, giggling as they witnessed the beautiful love story unfolding before them.

"Aww," their siblings chimed in unison, watching the tender moment.
