A high-end space bracelet , Jack thought for a while. After returning from the forest of clouds and mist, Jack himself really planned to upgrade to better space equipment.

The capacity of the original space backpack was too small, and Jack found it inconvenient more than once. Originally, Jack planned to find the original stall owner after closing the stall and buy the space bracelet in his possession.

But now, with a better choice, Jack didn't hesitate long and agreed to the youth's trading plan.

"Okay, I agree. Give me the space bracelet. This is my card number. After the transfer, the Leaf Stone will be yours."

Seeing Jack agree, the young man in the Charizard mask was very pleased. He handed the space bracelet to Jack casually and said, "Okay, no problem. You take the space bracelet first, and I'll transfer the money right away."

Jack took the space bracelet and immediately put it on his wrist. After activating it and confirming it worked properly, he stored his original space backpack inside it.

The sweet sound of a bank notification buzzed through Jack's mobile phone. He checked the text message: "Card balance: 1,840,128 Pokédollars."

"Alright, I got it. This Leaf Stone is yours," Jack said with a gesture of invitation. The young man in the Charizard mask eagerly picked up the Leaf Stone from the stand and began examining it carefully.

Watching the young man's serious expression, Jack asked casually, "Is this Leaf Stone for your own Pokémon?"

"Oh, yes," the young man replied. "I have a Nuzleaf, which has reached a certain Breeder level. To evolve it into Shiftry, I need the Leaf Stone. I've been searching for one for a while. I wasn't even planning to look for a Leaf Stone in the black market today, but I didn't expect to find this."

The Charizard-masked youth examined the Leaf Stone for a while longer, then placed it into his space bracelet and added nonchalantly, "What a lucky find."

"Nuzleaf, Shiftry?" Jack looked at the young man with slight surprise.

Shiftry and Nuzleaf were relatively uncommon Pokémon within the human civilization of this world. Shiftry often led groups of Seedot and Nuzleaf, residing in deep, ancient forests far from civilization. It was quite rare to encounter such Pokémon in places close to human settlements.

After completing the transaction, Jack packed up his stall, wandered through the black market for a while, and stopped at a booth he had noticed earlier. The stall featured a fruit called Razz Berry.

The Razz Berry came in two colors: a yellow variant and a red one. Pokémon loved food made from berries, and certain types were used to craft energy cubes with special effects. For example, the Red Razz Berry produced energy cubes that were especially delicious, while those made from the yellow Razz Berry had a slightly sour taste. Despite this, regular consumption of yellow Razz Berry energy cubes could improve a Pokémon's constitution.

Spending 30,000 Pokédollars, Jack purchased all the Razz Berries at the stall. After checking the time, he realized it was past 5 p.m. Feeling he had acquired everything he needed, Jack left the black market.

When he reached the exit, the two professional trainers stationed at the gate remained firmly on guard, showing no reaction as Jack passed by.

Jack mused as he walked, "First, find a store that sells Pokémon food to make these Razz Berries into energy cubes. Then, have a meal and head back to the hotel."

Just as he exited the grove outside the black market, Jack reached up to remove the mask from his face. Suddenly, he paused. His hand slowly lowered as he touched the Poké Ball on his waist. Calmly, he turned around to face the path he had just walked.

Standing there was the trainer with the Charizard mask, accompanied by a dinosaur-like Pokémon with a flaming tail.

A trace of seriousness flashed across Jack's face, though hidden behind his mask. This was the first time Jack had encountered another Trainer with a Pokémon boasting a 4-star qualification or higher.

"Is there something wrong?" Jack asked coldly.

"Haha, brother, don't misunderstand. I just wanted to make friends because of your extraordinary presence," the other Trainer replied. "My name is Owen, and I'm a student at South Green University. This is my Charmeleon."

As he finished speaking, Owen removed his mask, revealing a face that Jack found unremarkable. "Oh," Jack muttered, while the Charmeleon next to Owen let out a growl, seemingly as a greeting.

"Ahem!" Seeing Jack's indifferent demeanor, Owen coughed awkwardly before continuing.

"Brother, I don't mean anything bad. I just want to exchange contact information. If you ever come across something good in the future, you can let me know. As long as it's something I need, we can negotiate the price. As Trainers, having more friends means more opportunities. We can exchange resources and information with each other."

Jack considered Owen's words for a moment. Sensing no ill intent, he slowly relaxed his grip on the Poké Ball at his waist.

"South Green University? Don't you have classes to attend? How are you so free?" Jack asked, his curiosity piqued.

Although South Green University wasn't ranked nationally, it was the top university in South City and the first there to offer Pokémon-related courses. If this was the level of its students, Jack might need to reevaluate the reputation of these so-called trained Trainers.

"Haha, of course, normal students have to attend classes," Owen explained with a grin. "But Pokémon students usually have a lot of freedom as long as they don't fail their final graduation assessment. Don't worry about it."

Jack removed his mask, revealing his face. "I see. I'm Jack from University of Life. Nice to meet you."
