Chapter 6 - Monster gene Assessment

Once inside, Kael flopped onto the couch, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him. He activated his IIS watch and began skimming the news.

One headline caught his attention: "Newly Discovered Planet Offers Free Entry and Treasures Galore!" The article detailed how the planet is now open for exploration, with reports of countless relics and treasures waiting to be uncovered.

Kael's heart raced with excitement as he read about the newly discovered planet that was now open for exploration.

Among the headlines, one caught his eye: "New Vacation Planet Offers Stunning Beachside Resorts!" The news detailed a paradise-like planet, boasting pristine beaches, lush palm trees, and vibrant coral reefs.

The article described how travelers could escape their busy lives and enjoy a slice of paradise, complete with luxury accommodations and various water activities. Kael couldn't help but dream about the adventures he could have there, basking in the sun and exploring the underwater wonders.

As he scrolled further, another headline flashed on the screen: "New Monster Gene User Ascends to Sovereignty Level!" The article detailed how a trainer, known for their exceptional skills, had recently achieved the coveted Sovereignty Level.

The story inspired Kael, who felt a renewed determination to improve his own abilities. If this trainer could rise to such heights, perhaps he could too, especially with the newfound power he had tapped into through his monster integration.

Motivated by the news, Kael quickly searched for the closest monster gene assessment center. He knew that understanding his monster's attributes and potential would be crucial for his growth.

The search provided a list of assessment buildings designed to analyze integrated monsters, revealing their elements, skills, and passive abilities. Each center offered evaluations to help trainers understand their monsters' strengths and weaknesses.

"This is exactly what I need!" Kael thought, excitedly reading that the assessment also included a physical evaluation. This would help him gauge his own capabilities alongside those of his integrated monster.

On his IIS watch, he found a center located conveniently close to his home. It boasted advanced technology to analyze both the monster and its user, providing detailed reports on their compatibility and potential.

"I'll visit tomorrow," Kael decided, feeling a surge of anticipation. "This is my chance to unlock my full potential!"

After finishing his search for the monster gene assessment center, Kael decided to unwind for a bit.

He plopped down on the couch, grabbed the remote, and turned on the TV. The screen flickered to life, displaying a variety of channels showcasing everything from thrilling monster battles to cooking shows.

After an hour of watching, Kael felt inspired and decided it was time to cook dinner for himself and his sister. He headed to the kitchen, gathering ingredients for a simple yet delicious meal.

He prepared a stir-fry with tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and a savory sauce.

As they sat down to eat, the aroma of the food filled the air. Kael's sister smiled, clearly impressed by his culinary skills.

Between bites, Kael casually asked, "Do you have school tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I have classes all day," she replied, a hint of reluctance in her voice. "But I'll manage. How about you?"

"I'm planning to go to the monster gene assessment center tomorrow," he shared, excitement lacing his words.

"Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great," she encouraged, her eyes sparkling with pride for her brother.

After finishing their meal, Kael cleaned up the kitchen, washing the dishes and putting everything away. He felt a sense of satisfaction, both from cooking and from spending quality time with his sister.

Once everything was tidy, he took a long, relaxing bath, letting the warm water wash away the day's stress.

Feeling refreshed, he slipped into his pajamas and headed straight to bed, anticipation buzzing within him for the upcoming day.

he next morning, Kael woke up to the soft glow of sunlight streaming through his window.

He quickly took a bath, feeling invigorated by the warm water that woke up his senses.

As he stepped out of his room, he spotted his sister in the hallway, bustling around as she prepared for school.

She was dressed in her school uniform, her hair tied back neatly. "Good morning, Kael! Did you sleep well?" she asked, glancing up from packing her bag.

"Morning! Yeah, I slept like a rock. Ready for another day at school?" he teased, knowing her mixed feelings about it.

"As ready as I'll ever be," she replied with a playful roll of her eyes.

Kael stepped out of the apartment, a mix of excitement and nervousness thrumming through him. Today's the day! He thought as he made his way to the monster gene assessment center.

As he approached the center, sight of the building. It was a massive, modern structure, gleaming with glass and metal, reflecting the sunlight like a beacon of opportunity.

The architecture was sleek and futuristic, with large banners hanging from the sides displaying images of legendary monsters and successful trainers. The entrance featured automated sliding doors that opened with a gentle whoosh, welcoming visitors into the world of monster genetics.

Outside, the atmosphere buzzed with energy. A diverse crowd of people—trainers, aspiring trainers, and curious onlookers—filled the area. Kael noticed individuals of all shapes and sizes, each with their unique styles and appearances, reflecting the rich tapestry of humanity.

Kael joined the line, feeling a sense of solidarity with the others waiting for their turn. The line stretched ahead of him, a mix of excitement and impatience palpable in the air.

As he stood there, he couldn't help but notice the variety of people around him

Some wore badges showcasing their ranks, while others had scars and markings indicating their past battles with monsters.

A few newcomers looked anxious, fidgeting with their hands or murmuring to each other.

Others were animatedly discussing their favorite monsters and the experiences they hoped to gain.

Before the man in the white lab coat called him, Kael approached the registration desk, where an employee sat typing away on a computer.

"Good morning! I'm here for the monster gene assessment," Kael said, smiling as he handed over his name and details on a form.

The employee looked up, returning his smile. "Thank you, Kael. Just wait in line, and we'll call you when it's your turn!"

Hours passed as Kael waited patiently in line. His striking features and confident demeanor did not go unnoticed. A few women nearby whispered and exchanged glances, their eyes sparkling with admiration.

Meanwhile, some of the men in line shot him jealous looks, clearly feeling overshadowed by his natural charm and presence. Kael tried to ignore it, focusing on the excitement of what lay ahead.

At last, he heard his name called. The same man in a white lab coat, wearing sleek glasses, gestured for him to approach. "Kael, you're up! This way, please," he said with an authoritative tone.

Kael followed the man into a dimly lit room filled with high-tech equipment. The walls were lined with screens displaying data and images of various monsters.

In the center of the room stood a peculiar device resembling a funnel surrounded by numerous wires and conduits. It looked like a cross between a laboratory experiment and a piece of art

"This device will determine your elemental affinity," the technician explained. "All you need to do is drop a small sample of your blood into the funnel. It will analyze your genetic makeup and reveal the element you are most attuned to."

Kael nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. This was the moment he'd been waiting for—the key to unlocking his potential as a monster trainer.
