Inside of a large mansion that sat on the side of a mountain.
Bustling house maids where running to and from a room coming with medical supplies and leaving with out them.
Inside the room a female doctor was at the end of a beautiful woman with black hair going through labor.
"Push, you're doing great Ma'dam the baby's almost out"
The woman with black hair, clearly in pain, is giving it her all throughout the birthing of her first born. A man kneeled as her side while holding her head and looking away at the ground.
'Holy shit! Oh my god! Im going to be sick! Nightmares will visit me for weeks, i should've stay outside but i cannot leave her alone'
He looks up at her face and steels his resolve to be in this room.
"You're doing great honey! Almost there, deep breaths, deep breaths!"
'In, *Inhale* Out, *exhale* In, Out, In, Ou-'
*Blerghu-*
The man quickly uses his other hand to cover his mouth and swallow the bile that had just come up. Then his ears pick up the sound of soft crying and he turns his head to see a baby in the doctors arms.
Covered in blood!
His weak stomach can't handle it anymore and quickly turns his head while grabbing the empty trash bin beside the bed to empty his stomach into.
The wife blurry vision hardly notices her husbands plight as she weakly looks towards her new born. The doctor circles the the bed cradling the new born.
"It's a boy Ma'dam, congratulations!"
The doctor hands over the baby boy to her after she had cleaned him up and wrapped him in a blanket.
The mothers turquoise eyes instantly clear up at the sight of his short black hair and vibrant teal eyes. After studying his face over, staring deep into his eyes for a moment and taking in this life she just brought into the world she open her mouth and said in worn out voice but full with warmth
"Atlas… Atlas von Rivers will be his name."
The husband now relieved of his lunch looked over and nodding thinking it's a great name but internally was thinking 'Hmph i guess my input doesn't matter'
"Ma'dam you should rest for a while and recover because i'm sensing another life within you"
The doctor said with a bright smile. The husband and wife pair look at her wide eye. Then they looked at each other and dropped their jaws.
"What! But how?! I thought that when we did the test we got the result that it was just one! Not that i'm complaining!"
The father exclamed loudly which made the new born start crying. The mother and doctor both looked at him with dead eyes.
'Shit! Guess even if i have an empty stomach for the next one i wont even be able to get a name out.'
The wife looking away from her husband and to the doctor said
"Thank you Doctor Asa, this is the greatest news of my life! I'll get to rest right away but do wake me up if he starts getting hungry"
"Absolutely Ma'dam"
Taking Atlas back from the mother the doctor took him to another room that they had prepared and sanitize with medication on deck for any problem that could go wrong.
Walking further from the couple the doctor could feel the baby's breath shallowing and his heart beat growing weaker. She quickly sped up her pace to do the check up.
Arriving at the room his heart was still, barely beating. Her face fell ashen and quickly did a diagnosis. His heart stopped and she immediately did cpr. His heart started beating again but was very weak. Her diagnosis confirmed what she had been thinking
'a Weak heart'
She immediately turned and grabbed a bunch of medication off the table all for a weak heart. These medications where made of Dragons hearts, Phoenix essence, Empyrean trolls heart and many other extremely rare ingredients. She quickly got to work and used everything she could without hurting him.
Slowly up surely his heat beat got to a normal pace and his breathing evened out. She wiped the sweat off her brow but didn't take her eyes off him and ran a diagnosis every 10 mins for the next 3 hours until a house maid came in and told her that the lady was having contractions.
"Make sure to keep a close eye on Atlas and run a diagnosis every 10 mins until i get back, little man scared me so badly and i won't take any chance."
"Understand Doctor Asa"
The house maid bowed and came in while Doctor Asa made her way back to the room the couple where in.
Coming into the room she asked with a bright smile on her face not showing what panic she had just been through to not give the ma'dam anything to worry about
"Ready for round two Ma'dam?"
"Yes Doctor Asa, i'm so excited to meet my second little blessing!"
She replied but in a still tired voice but with an undertone of excitement.
Doctor Asa looked around noticing the husband not to be present but quickly got to work and in an hour she was holding a baby girl. She walked to the side of the bed and handed the mother her second baby.
The mother studied the baby girl's features. Hair the same length as Atlas looking identical until she captured her bright aqua colored eyes. Many shades brighter than her older by 4 hours brother Atlas.
"Hmm.. Altair von vi Rivers, hehe my little girl"
She was quick to snuggle up to Altair and dote on her. She looked to the doctor and asked in a tired but excited voice
"Asa, could you please bring Atlas here, i'd like to hold them both right now."
"Absolutely"
Then there was a sound of distant crying and a knock at the door and the husband came in with Atlas balling his eyes out looking at man like he's his worst enemy that took everything from him.
"Umm not really sure why he's crying but i'm sure you want him right?"
He asked with a big smile on his face like he couldn't heard the baby's gutteral screams.
The wife looked at him with her tired eyes and said
"Him. Here. Now."
Nodding quickly he brought Atlas to her and he was quick to calm down and slowly shut his eyes.
She turned to looked at the both of them and ask
"Mind giving us some space? i'm already feeling very worn out and want some time alone with the baby's"
The doctor was quick to nod while the husband was reluctant to leave.
"My little ones. Ah how cute the two of you are, so precious!"
She had Atlas in her left arm and Altair in her right while they lay on her chest.
"As your mother, the one who brought you into this world absolutely nothing and i mean nothing will ever will take me away from you and i will love you both more than you will ever fathom. This is my vow as your mother, I Aira von vi Evermore Rivers!"
The two looked at her with their bright eyes then where quick to peacefully fall asleep in their mothers embrace while holding each others hand. Aria noticed them holding hands and thought it was the sweetest thing to melt her heart.
Admiring her baby's, fatigue and tiredness slowly creeped up on her and although reluctant she fell asleep.
The door to the room cracked open and the husband poking his head and looked in the direction of the bed. Noticing them fast asleep a proud bittersweet smile came over his face and he slowly back out, quietly shutting the door behind him.
