Chapter 27 - 27

Play. Friends. The skeleton is now a knight. The spider, a hammock. Fun. Sebastian smiles.

More? I point to the hologram. Monsters.

I touch the hologram. Explore. Explore. Words. Many words. I don't understand.

"[Suggestion]", says the voice of the system.

Suggestion?

"[Ability]".

Ability?

"[Demon King]".

Me?

"[Yes. Epic of Destruction]".

Epic...? I don't understand.

"[Blood. Monster. New]".

New?

"[Throne. General]".

Throne? I don't understand. Throne. The word sounds... weird. I need to understand. I focus. I listen carefully.

"[A Throne is a special monster, very powerful. It will help you protect the dungeon]".

Protect?

"[Yes. From the enemies]".

Enemies?

"[Yes. They will come to attack you]".

Attack me?

"[Yes. They will want to destroy the dungeon]".

Destroy?

"[Yes. Kill your friends]".

No! I won't let them be killed!

"[The Thrones will help you defend them]".

Defend them?

"[Yes. They are strong. Very strong. They are like generals of an army]".

Generals?

"[Yes. They lead other monsters. They guide them in battle]".

Battle?

"[Yes. The enemies will come to fight. The Thrones will fight for you]".

Fight?

"[Yes. They are very powerful. They can use magic. They can break the laws of the world]".

Magic? Break the laws?

"[Yes. They are special. Like you]".

Like me?

"[Yes. They have your potential. Your blood]".

My blood?

"[Yes. To create a Throne, you need to give a drop of your blood]".

A drop?

"[Yes. The system will mix it with that of a special monster]".

Special monster?

"[Yes. The system will choose it. One that is compatible with you]".

Compatible?

"[Yes. So that the Throne is strong. So that it has your abilities]".

My abilities?

"[Yes. The ones you have as a Demon King]".

Demon King?

"[Yes. You are a Demon King. A powerful being. But you are still small]".

Small?

"[Yes. Your level is low. But you can grow. You can be stronger]".

Strong?

"[Yes. Like the Thrones. Like a Demon King]".

How many Thrones can I have?

"[5. You are very special]".

5?

"[Yes. Many. More than other Demon Kings]".

I touch the hologram. Invoke.

A thick darkness envelops her, cold and suffocating, but there is no fear. Only a growing excitement, an anticipation of power. I am powerful. Sebastian, oblivious to the silent conversation between the girl and the system, watches with curiosity as the darkness swirls around Aurora, hiding her from view.

The darkness twists and concentrates, forming a sharp needle that hovers in front of her finger. The needle pricks her, and a drop of her blood, black as night and thick as tar, emerges from the wound. The drop pulses with a dark energy that vibrates the air, an energy that speaks of an ancient and terrible power, a power that the universe itself fears. The needle absorbs the drop, and both disappear in the blink of an eye.

A deafening roar shakes the dungeon, a cry of power that echoes through the stones and bones, shaking the foundations of reality. The walls crack and crumble, the ground undulates beneath their feet. Sebastian stumbles, surprised by the intensity of the power being unleashed. A blinding light erupts from the cracks, flooding the chamber with a white and cold glare that scorches his retinas.

And the world responds.

The earth cracks and convulses, the oceans churn, forming monstrous waves that threaten to swallow the coasts. The sky turns blood red, and the stars flicker with a frantic intensity, as if they are about to be extinguished. And then, out of nowhere, a strident laugh echoes across the world, a cold and cruel laugh that chills the blood of mortals and makes the gods tremble. It is the laughter of Kaili, a harbinger of the chaos and destruction to come.

Ancient creatures awaken, sensing the disturbance in the vital force that surrounds them. Millennial dragons raise their heads, their roars of defiance echoing across the continents, announcing the return of a primordial power. Ancient gods stir on their thrones, whispering prophecies of destruction and chaos. And in the towers of wizards, crystal balls shatter, showing visions of an uncertain and terrifying future, a future where darkness looms over reality.

The roar intensifies, tearing at the fabric of reality. The light becomes unbearable, and Sebastian is forced to look away. And then, as suddenly as it began, it all ceases.

A deathly silence descends on the dungeon. The dust settles, the light fades. And in the midst of the stillness, a figure materializes in front of Aurora.

Kaili.

Her body is that of an adult woman, slender and voluptuous, with soft purple skin that glows with an inner light. Golden, silver, and red runes cover her body, pulsing with an arcane energy that seems to defy the laws of nature. Two horns, long and sharp as those of a gazelle, curve upwards from her forehead, adorned with gems that sparkle with an inner light. Kaili opens her eyes, and a cruel and seductive smile plays on her lips, her eyes are pools of darkness, but in their depths burn sparks of power that mesmerize the gaze. And from her back unfold six wings, membranous and translucent, that change color with every movement, creating a spectacle of lights and shadows that takes the breath away.
