"I was just thinking how Minato looks a bit like Volkner, and yet the system actually gave me a Pikachu," Uchiha Hayato thought to himself.
He recalled that Minato seemed to have an affinity for lightning-style chakra, making Pikachu a fitting match for him.
[Name: Pikachu]
[Gender: Female]
[Ability: Static (May paralyze opponents upon close contact)]
[Type: Electric]
[Held Item: Light Ball]
[Moves: Nuzzle, Nasty Plot, Charm, Sweet Kiss, Play Nice, Tail Whip, Growl, Thunder Shock, Thunder Wave, Electro Ball, Thunderbolt, Volt Tackle]
Upon examining Pikachu's stats, Hayato realized she was an exceptionally capable individual. Though her ability wasn't Lightning Rod, her Static ability and powerful move set were nothing to scoff at.
"Reality isn't a game," Hayato mused. "But even in the anime, hard-working Pokémon like Pikachu have surpassed their natural limits. If Minato trains her well, she could become just as formidable."
"Minato, I'll entrust Pikachu to you. I summoned her into this world, so now it's your responsibility to look after her as your partner," Hayato said, offering a reminder despite knowing Minato's trustworthy nature.
"I understand," Minato nodded earnestly.
The electric mouse surveyed her new surroundings curiously. She had left her family for a journey, but in the blink of an eye, she was no longer in the familiar forest. Two boys stared at her, one of them with bright yellow hair whose intense gaze made her a little nervous.
"This is… my Pokémon?" Minato asked, rubbing his hands together, an unusual excitement in his typically calm demeanor.
"Yes, her name is Pikachu. She's an Electric-type. The pouches on her cheeks store electricity, and she can release powerful jolts when in danger," Hayato explained.
Minato nodded repeatedly, captivated by Pikachu's round face, playful expressions, and smooth fur. He wanted to scoop her up immediately.
"Introduce yourself to Pikachu," Hayato said with a smile, stepping back to give them space.
"Hello, Pikachu. My name is Namikaze Minato. From now on, we're partners. Let's get along well," Minato said, lifting Pikachu into the air with a joyful smile.
"Pika… Pikachu!"
A brilliant burst of electricity exploded from Pikachu, startling a flock of birds from the nearby trees.
Hayato covered his mouth, suppressing his laughter.
Before him, Minato's once bright yellow hair was now charred black, smoke curling from his mouth.
"Hayato, you didn't mention Pikachu would attack me…" Minato groaned.
"Hahahaha!" Kushina doubled over, hands on her hips, laughing uncontrollably. "Minato, you—your face is priceless!"
"My bad," Hayato said, trying to stifle his amusement. "You startled her. Pikachu is a lady, after all. You need to approach her gently."
Tossing out his Poké Ball, Hayato called, "Come out, Little Blaze. Help explain the situation to Pikachu."
"Growl!" Little Blaze grunted, hopping out of the ball.
"Pika-pi!" Pikachu responded, still wary.
Minato looked on anxiously. "Are you sure this will work?"
"Relax," Hayato reassured him. "Pokémon have their own ways of communicating. Spend enough time with Pikachu, and you'll understand each other, too."
Hayato tossed Minato a Poké Ball. "For now, this will be Pikachu's home until you master the Summoning Jutsu and form a proper contract."
Meanwhile, Pikachu and Little Blaze gestured animatedly at each other, seemingly coming to an understanding.
After a moment, Pikachu realized she was no longer in her original world. A brief sense of loneliness was replaced by bold determination. If I'm here, I'll become the first Pikachu to conquer this strange new world!
"Pika-pika!" Pikachu chirped confidently.
With a hop, she leapt onto Minato's head, patting him with her tiny paws.
Minato grinned. "Hayato, does this mean Pikachu accepts me?"
"Uh… sure," Hayato said, concealing a smirk. It looks more like she's claimed you as her human.
"Minato, I'm planning to use Shadow Clones to attend school. The material they teach isn't particularly useful," Hayato said. "If you learn the jutsu, we can train here together."
"Do you think that's okay?" Minato asked, cradling Pikachu in his arms.
"Why not? Don't you think the school lessons are too basic? My parents left behind some training notes. Before graduation, we should focus on getting stronger."
"Include me too!" Kushina raised her hand eagerly, like a student in class.
"Hayato-kun, Minato-kun, and Kushina…" A voice interrupted from a distance. It was Dekai, walking toward them.
"Hayato-kun, I've apologized to everyone I've wronged," Dekai said, his eyes burning with determination as he waited for Hayato's response.
Hayato sighed. I only mentioned it offhandedly, but he actually went through with it.
"What do you want me to say? Do you need my approval or something?" Hayato retorted coldly.
Minato stepped in with a kind smile. "If you've truly changed, I'm sure everyone will see it in time."
Dekai's dull eyes lit up, and he seemed to picture Lord Third smiling at him.
Two girls arrived at the training field. The one with a ponytail spoke up. "I can vouch for Dekai. He really did apologize to Nono Yakushi."
Hayato's eyes flicked to the second girl, a bespectacled blonde. Nono Yakushi.
A canon character had appeared.
Hayato glanced at the ponytailed girl, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. He couldn't recall meeting her before, but her features seemed to blend those of Hyūga Hinata and Hyūga Hanabi. Could she be their mother?
