Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Ding! Mission Released: The Crimson Chili's Arrival

Option 1: Respond to Kushina and declare your desire to become Hokage before Minato Namikaze does in class. Reward: Split Slash*1

Option 2: Bully Kushina and join the other classmates in mocking her hair. Reward: Draw Chance*5

Option 3: Ignore Kushina and observe the original world storyline unfold. Reward: Small Experience Candies*3

Option 4: Receive different rewards based on alternative actions.

"This is Kushina Uzumaki's first appearance in the original storyline, isn't it?" Uchiha Hayato thought as he sat up and stroked the baby Chimchar, which seemed eager to cause trouble in the classroom.

Hayato analyzed the mission and rewards. The Split Slash was a non-attribute ninjutsu that would pack a bigger punch if paired with a ninja sword. The Draw Chances, though enticing, felt like rolling the dice—it might bring treasure, or it might bring nothing. Meanwhile, the Small Experience Candies were the safest choice, helping him grow his chakra reserves steadily, like "slow and steady wins the race."

But Hayato scoffed at the idea of playing it safe. With a system capable of altering the ninja world, why settle for being a mere observer? "Fortune favors the bold," he thought.

"Look at that hair color—unbelievable!"

"How can it be so red? It's so weird."

"Alright, quiet down! Everyone, quiet down!" Teacher Yamashiro Yōhei tried to restore order, gesturing for silence.

On the podium stood a girl named Kushina Uzumaki, her fiery red hair flowing like a blaze over her shoulders. Despite her striking appearance, her expression betrayed her unease. She took a deep breath, then declared boldly:

"I... I want to become this village's first female Hokage!"

Of course, it wasn't her true dream. Kushina only said it to fight back against being treated as an outsider. "Desperate times call for desperate measures," after all.

"What a joke—Hokage? A girl?"

Minato Namikaze frowned, disliking the way his classmates belittled Kushina. For her to declare such a dream showed guts, and he felt they could be friends. But before Minato could step up, Uchiha Hayato stood first.

"Enough! Shut up! Can't you hear she's introducing herself?"

Yamashiro Yōhei waved his hands awkwardly, trying to keep the peace, but some students weren't ready to back down.

"What? Uchiha Hayato, don't be so full of yourself!"

A tall, white-haired boy stood, his face twisted in annoyance. His outburst stirred murmurs among the other students.

"Full of myself?" Hayato smirked coldly. "I just say it like it is. Compared to you, I prefer Kushina Uzumaki—at least she doesn't lash out at people for no reason."

Hayato's words hit home, riling up the group of boys.

The white-haired boy charged, fists raised. Chimchar sensed the tension, its fiery tail flaring brightly, ready for action.

"Go, Blaze!" Hayato called.

Chimchar ducked under the boy's punch and countered with flaming fists, leaving the taller boy scrambling to remove his smoldering jacket.

As the chaos spread, Minato joined the fray to even the odds. Yamashiro Yōhei, meanwhile, sighed, creating a shadow clone to keep an eye on the fight while leading Kushina to the Third Hokage.

In the Hokage's office, Hiruzen Sarutobi observed the scene with mild amusement. Today was supposed to be Kushina's first peaceful day in Konoha, but events had quickly spiraled.

His interest was piqued by Uchiha Hayato—a member of the often-proud Uchiha clan, willing to stand up for others. "Still waters run deep," he mused, though Hayato's fiery nature reminded him that not all still waters are calm beneath the surface.

The Chimchar caught his attention as well. Sarutobi stroked his beard, curious. "Enma never mentioned having a descendant like that..."

"Lord Third, Yamashiro Yōhei requests an audience!"
