Boom!
Ka Ka Ka!
The building on Mariejois collapsed as the blond and bearded Five Elders fell to their death.
This scene made everyone's scalp tingle with dread.
"Next, it's your turn," Bai Ye's voice echoed, cold and resolute.
He had dealt with one opponent, and now it was time for the next. Standing his ground, Bai Ye calmly put away his fists.
The bald Five Elders, dressed in samurai robes, had rushed in behind his fallen comrade. But as Bai Ye's gaze turned toward him, he froze, trembling in shock and disbelief.
Bai Ye reached out and grabbed Ryūjin Jakka, its dark purple handle glowing ominously.
Far away, the long-bearded Five Elders, drenched in cold sweat, cursed under his breath.
"Damn it! Damn it! Imprison him!" he roared.
Pouring every ounce of his strength into his Devil Fruit ability, veins bulged across his forehead and arms as his stamina rapidly depleted. But despite his desperate efforts, his power wasn't enough.
The moment Bai Ye's fingers wrapped around Ryūjin Jakka, the long-bearded Five Elders realized the futility of his struggle. The power contained within the blade was beyond his comprehension.
Ryūjin Jakka, even in its Shikai state, burned with a heat comparable to the surface of the sun—a force no one present could hope to suppress.
Bai Ye had allowed himself to be restrained earlier, not out of necessity but to grant his enemies a fleeting sense of hope—only to crush them completely.
Boom!
The searing heat ignited once more the moment Bai Ye touched Ryūjin Jakka. The scorching temperature spread across Mariejois, incinerating everything in its path. Even the clouds above dissipated under the unbearable heat.
The long-bearded Five Elders coughed up blood, his face twisted in disbelief.
"It's... it's useless!" he stammered, his voice trembling. "This monster… he can't be stopped!"
Bai Ye turned his gaze to the bald Five Elders, who gripped the First Generation Kitetsu tightly in his hands. Overwhelmed by fear, the bald Elder's instincts screamed at him to retreat.
"This monster... how can such a being exist?" he muttered, his nerves fraying.
"Since you've seen enough... let's end this," Bai Ye declared.
With Ryūjin Jakka in hand, flames erupted around him. The bald Five Elders, now panicking, slashed forward with his sword, unleashing a purple-black slash infused with all his strength. He leapt back, retreating tens of meters.
However, the moment Ryūjin Jakka struck, the slash was instantly engulfed and disintegrated by the overwhelming flames.
Boom!
The ground beneath Mariejois trembled violently as Ryūjin Jakka's flames scorched everything, melting the earth and reducing entire structures to ash.
"No! I can't stop it!" the bald Elder shouted in despair, sweat pouring down his face.
The flames surged forward relentlessly, and the temperature rose to a level that could burn anything from the inside out. The bald Elder's confidence shattered completely. He knew he didn't stand a chance against the monster in front of him.
In the distance, the remaining two Five Elders watched the destruction unfold with grim expressions. The Elder with thick beards spoke first, his voice heavy with dread.
"Swordsmanship, physical prowess, and that... monstrous power to incinerate everything. This being... this thing shouldn't exist in our world."
His companion, the Five Elders with a birthmark on his forehead, gritted his teeth. "No matter what, we can't let him leave here alive. Even if it costs us everything, we must stop him today."
Amid the chaos, the shaggy-bearded Five Elders, clutching his staff tightly, watched the fires consume Mariejois. Buildings collapsed one after another, and screams of the Celestial Dragons echoed in the distance.
Suddenly, he noticed something unusual. His gaze shifted toward a phone transponder nearby. His pupils shrank in horror as he realized the wires had been tampered with.
"You bastard... you're broadcasting this to the whole world, aren't you?!" he bellowed, his voice filled with rage and panic.
The truth dawned on him too late. The events unfolding in Mariejois were being transmitted to the outside world.
"No wonder Lord Im hasn't intervened," the shaggy-bearded Elder muttered, his face pale. "This damned sinner… If the world sees this, then Lord Im's name—"
The thought left him trembling.
If these events were made public, the consequences for the World Government would be unimaginable.
With a growl, he glared at Bai Ye, his voice filled with venom.
"This ends here, sinner. No matter what, you won't leave Mariejois alive."
