Arriving in New York and entering Tia's building.Since the weather delayed my trip from Los Angeles to New York, which was not anticipated to take this long, I am afraid there is nothing I can do.. I am standing in front of the elevator, prepared to begin my new job tomorrow, when a man in his early thirties walks by like me.. He is dressed in a powder blue suit, and when the elevator opens and we get in together, his eyes are fixed on his phone. He looks like one of those men who make the covers of British vogue magazines, and his unbelievable appearance paralyzes me. "Are you coming in ?"
He has on a powder blue suit, and his eyes are fixed to his phone as the elevator door opens and we both enter simultaneously. I'm stunned by his unbelievable appearance; he resembles one of those males who appear on the covers of British vogue magazines. "Are you are you coming?" "take a breath Edie breath," my unconscious snarl at me while he holds the door open so I can enter. "I apologise." He glances through his cell phone while I enter the elevator and stand on the side. "This must be new." I nodded when he finally stares at me, ashamed to be staring like a lunatic. He gestures and replies, "I just arrived in New York today." I assume he's trying to be polite considering I was just staring at him.
since only a split second ago I had been staring at him. I reply while he chuckles and exposes his flawless white teeth, muttering, "Welcome to the big apple." I say, "Thank you," then he continues punching his phone. "By the way, my name is Liam," he adds with a smile which suits an elite secret. He stretched his hand to me, and I beamed out at him. As I eventually take his hand in mine, I say, "Eddie Evans." "So, what made you move to New York?" His eyes are fastened on me the moment he asks, he sets his phone down. He grins politely gesturing at my suitcase, "I ended a six-year relationship six months ago; the move really felt necessary." He seems interested in what I have to say.
"A fresh visions, new city" I give i nod, thrilled at the connection between my this guy and I .
irrespective of who my new neighbor is, I enjoy how we have a good interaction. The lift opens as soon as I step onto my floor. " Miss Evans" the lift is about to closes, he says, "I hope you find someone better here." I flush, he is gone but I stand frozen for a second happy to have met this guy, My hope renewed as I head to find Tia .
. I'm trying to find apartment number 107 on my phone, I knock on the door after noticing 107. Tia offer me a hug as she opens the door. I throw my arms around her and beams with excitement "Give me a hug, you poor thing." I concur, "It is shocking how Dylan would reduce himself to such an extremely low extent.I have nothing more to say about Dylan so I turn away to her kitchen centered in the far end of the big lounge space " Doctor Tia, you didn't tell me you were living like a royal ?" Tia chuckles as we both walk straight towards her kitchen " Would you believe I cooked ? I made a home-cooked food for you " Tia cooked wow— Unbelievable..
As we strolled into her kitchen, I effortlessly removed my jacket and placed it on my suitcase with a flick of each arm.
"Doctor Tia, this place is simply divine,"I exclaimed, she breaks into a little dance.
Tia gracefully glided to her fridge and retrieved two bottles of beer, she hands one to me.
"Let's unwind and chat about tomorrow," she suggested, leading us back to the couch where we sank into the cozy cushions.
"Tomorrow I have to clock in for my radio station job," I revealed, and Tia simply nodded in understanding.
Joey shared your photo with his friends and they are eager to meet the famous Edie Evans, television host, presenter, and esteemed anchor," she reveals, causing me to lean in with curiosity.
"That would be me, but Tia, I'm not looking for something serious right now. I just want to have a good time," I confess. She nods in understanding.
"You're talking to Tia Turner, the queen of chaos," we both chuckle at the title.
"How does Joey handle your wild antics?" I inquire, causing her to blush.
"He calms my storms. From the first day I met him, I knew there was something special about him. I just couldn't resist," she explains as I eagerly lean in for more details.
"Is it really possible to meet someone and just know they're the one?" I question, to which she confidently nods.
"Absolutely. I'm sure New York will inspire you to sing songs you never knew existed," she suggests with a smile.
We chat for another hour, catching up on all the latest happenings in our lives. Finally, I indulge in the roasted steak Tia prepared before heading down the hallway with my suitcase in tow, I rushed in for a quick bath then I fell on the bed.
It was morning, and I had been standing outside by the road for thirty minutes when a guy helped me hail a taxi, and it stopped for the first time in thirty minutes.
"Do you mind if we share the taxi now?" I asked, peeking at my watch.
"Nope, don't mind at all," he replied. He got off at 4th Avenue, while I continued on to Hot Room New York.
Walking into the hot room, I caught a few gazes.
Once inside the Hot Room, I saw a man standing by the front door. He was incredibly handsome, with his hands in his pockets and a deadpan look on his face. Not even that could stop him from looking handsome.
I blushed bright pink as he glanced at me while on his phone. He checked me out but then went back to making his calls.
"Hi, good morning. Can you kindly point me to Derrick's office?" I asked with a polite smile, but her eyes remained fixed on the desktop.
