"You've been stalking me. Now you have my attention" his eyes narrowing as he spoke. "Every moment I give you is a luxury. Make it count." His cold husky voice rang out.
"Speak."
Mila rubbed her palms together, her shoulders visibly trembling. Seeing him in full light now, she wondered how she hadn't been scared that night. He was twice her size and could snap her in half with just a shrug. Also, his dead, piercing blue eyes seemed to bore into her soul. Mila swallowed hard, her finger on her lips as she chewed it like a lifeline, a subconscious gesture that betrayed her anxiety.
With a deep breath, Mila steeled herself, ready to deliver the rehearsed speech that made her heart skip.
"I-I m...am pregnant... y-um...you're t-he fa...ther."
"What?!"
