Chapter 1 - The Voiceless Voice Of The World.

War is the mirror that shows humanity's true face and what we are capable of. Through war, humans begin to be humans, leaving those fake morals and facades behind. Through war, we demonstrate how life is a struggle and a fight of foolishness. Broken buildings, piles of bodies burned, disfigured laying in pools of blood, our own blood. Children and men left to starve all alone waiting to be eaten by the beast that mankind really is. What a violent war this is, a war where a drone has taken in the role of a grim reaper, always hovering above our heads and bombs that broke our cities in a span of minutes, fields where bullets flew in all directions, as if they were chaos incarnated, pieces of scorched metal burning down entire forests...

The world was changed, and Mark... he saw it all. From his daughter getting blown up by a homing missile, to all of his comrades getting killed by a military drone. He saw humanity lose its honor, he saw the cowards that humans really are.

As he laid down against a wall, with his eyes barely open, waiting for his ending. Mark heard a voice in his head, it was like it spoke from everywhere yet nowhere. [O' One Who Inherited The Soul Of The Ancient One, Answer The Call Of The World. Save Us From Our Doom. Be Summoned And End The Fight Once And For All]

Suddenly, before he could even form a thought, a blinding light that came from everywhere around him, quickly ate him whole.

Splash , Splash

A drop of water fell on Marks face causing his conscience to return once again.

Splash , Splash

He found himself in a dim lighted cave, his body half submerged into water.

Splash , Splash

The water echoed all around the place as he slowly got up, he took a look at his body baffled and disoriented. 'What is going on? What happened to me?' he thought.

'Was I caught by the Russians? Or was it the Chinese? But why a large cave?'

He was in an alert state, his head began to suddenly hurt pretty badly, he was confused but he used his high military training and began slowly analyzing his environment and slowly move around, trying to make as little noise as possible using a secret footwork technique learned from the corps he was working for. He went out of the water while making a little noise as possible, finally reaching the rocky surface, however he found no one. 'This is weird, why is there no one? Why capture me and leave me in the middle of the cave? Maybe they were attacked and they left me here thinking I was just another body to the pile? Still I can't be too relaxed, I have to get out of here first'.

The cave was huge, dark and echoey, it was very hard to move around, even for someone as experienced as Mark in harsh terrains. Mark slowly made his way in the big room, placing his hand on the caves stalagmite for stability and orientation, as he was making his way towards a huge corridor that was right in front of him, he used steady footwork so he wouldn't trip, which could be pretty dangerous, risking to get impaled by one of these stalagmites.

He couldn't help but be impressed about this cave's size. He never saw a cave this huge in his life 'Where on earth could there be such a huge cave? And how on earth was this build? It looks way huge even to be build by our mother nature...'

'I have to get out of here, and find out where in the world am I..' He gathered his wits and focused upon his on-hand task, getting out of here.

As he slowly made his way forward, he stumbled upon something that almost made him lose balance, however it was too dark to see what it was, but it felt solid and boneish, almost like a human leg. He stopped, slowly crouched and touched it. It was a human skeleton. It has strange clothes, and had something in its hands. 'This one looks like it died a long time ago' he said in his head as he was reaching for what the skeleton had in his hands 'I can't figure if it is a male or a female skeleton, it's too dark to see'. He picked a strange stick, upon looking closer he saw a crystal at the top of it. Upon inspecting it, he touched the crystal and it suddenly began to emit a strong light that illuminated the entire portion of the cave where he was, making him throw the stick to the floor. He audibly gasped and stumbled backwards, "Fuck!" he said out loud. He was used to explosions near him, been into many death and life situations, but this stick gave him a hell of a scare. He never saw anything like this in his life.

'Shit, what the fuck is that, a crystal that emits light upon touched, I never knew this existed, this is almost fantasy-like, seriously where the fuck am I?'

The stick was still glowing as powerful as ever. Mark slowly got up, and reached for the stick again. He inspected it, still confused as ever. 'Well, forget the stick, it's not like anyone will praise me for finding it, nor I could sell it'. He looked at the skeleton. 'What the hell was he wearing? What is this, the medieval era? But it looks like straight out of a fantasy game' Although the clothes were all torn up, one thing was clear, the skeleton was wearing a fantasy like chainmail armor, fact that confused Mark even more. 'Where the fuck am I? There is no way he could've taken me here, he looks like he died here years ago, so what the fuck is going on?'

he once again asked himself, but he knew he wasn't going to find out until he got out of this cave. 'I have to find an exit'. He took the stick, as it was the perfect flashlight to help him see in the dark and slowly made his way forward. On his way, he saw multiple skeletons all wearing similar type of armor, remarking one small detail, they all had a symbol on their armors. It was a symbol of what Mark recognized as a sun, with an intersecting sword and spear. The symbol was barely visible as the most of the armors looked scorched and damaged, with some armors having the symbols washed away completely, however he managed to complete the entire pattern after looking at a few armors that were not so badly damaged. 'Looks like they all belong to the same military group, like they are from the same kingdom or whatever. This place is getting stranger and stranger, and I really have a bad feeling about this one.'

He continued his journey to find his exit. Making his way in the large and wet tunnels of the cave. 'What is weirding me out, is that this cave is strangely warm for its size, and by the looks of it, the warmth is coming from the floor. There must be lava beneath me, but this place to be a volcano? Why would they take me to a volcanic cave?'. Moving forward even more he stumbled upon two paths, one right and one left. 'Now what?' as he asked himself this question, he suddenly fell to the floor, a huge headache appeared out of nowhere, making him to moan in pain [Take the right path] the same strange voice echoed through his head. 'Wha- What the fuck is going on' He felt dizzy, as if he had been the drunkest he was in his life, after 30 seconds, the headache suddenly stopped. He regained his strenght slowly after almost barfing all the provisions he ate yesterday on the floor. 'What the fuck was that?' He asked himself as he was panting. 'That was the same voice I heard before I lost conscience, just what is going on?' He slowly got up, picked up the glowing stick and looked ahead of him. 'Should I listen to the voice? I have a gut feeling I will get my answers if I do'

He slowly marched towards the right corridor. He walked for about 20 minutes before hearing what it seemed thunder echoing through the cave. He approached the source, and he stumbled upon what seemed out of this reality. He was finally outside, somewhere. It looked like a huge peek, clouded by raging storms, thunder and lightning violently struck everywhere, winds that sounded like the screams of a thousand souls all at once. Whirlpools in the cloud violently sucking the dust from the ground violently in the air like black holes. Floating pieces of rocks, that looked like floating islands barely visible through the dust fog. However all of these were nothing, nothing besides the huge creature that was looking down at Mark, that huge reptile with wings that looked like they alone were 100ft in size, and that creature's size? Looked like he covered the sky alone with his sheer size. Mark stood there, frozen entirely, not even being able to form thoughts, his heart barely beating. He never experienced a fear like this in his entire life, not even when bullets flew right next to his ear, or when he was being chased by killer drones. The one with the appearence of what many of us would associate with a mythical beast, a dragon, looked with his enormous eye right at Mark and began speaking, his voice sounding louder than the thunder, causing his ears to bleed, his brain to feel like it was being split apart from its voice alone.

After uttering these sentences in a language unheard of, the titan suddenly struck Mark with his huge claws right in his chest. Mark felt so much pain in a span of 1 second in which seemed like an eternity for him, so much pain he never thought the human bodies could feel, he felt as if all of his nerves were slowly being ruptured, one by one, like someone was somehow ripping apart his body slowly, inch by inch, before losing conscience.

Finally losing conscience.
