It was a special day of celebration after the pandemic. The Alpha hosted Kasulu and Astrid for what they had done so far the whole pack was full of joy. Ryker and his team were very sad that they failed. They were at the event to do evil.
"Today I will make Kasulu the healer of this pack and all the district." Cassius "Cash" Blackwood the Alpha Announced this to the people hearing.
"Cassius "cash" Blackwood lives long!!!." The people were hailing the Alpha for his great work.
"I'm happy that Astrid, as a strong woman, will succeed me well." The alpha said. Astrid was very happy.
As the people were hailing the Alpha, the more Arkeus and Ryker were getting angry.
"Phoenix !, spare not Astrid tonight," Ryker whispered to Phoenix here to execute Astrid. Phoenix left. On getting to Astrid she saw him coming nearby.
"My princess, you are not safe, can you please leave the palace for now," Phoenix spoke to Astrid.
"To where and why," Astrid responded. She is curious about what he said.
"Stop your guards not to follow us now" Phoenix uttered
"Go back" Astrid did as he said Kage stopped the guards not to following her unrevealed that Kage knew what was going on. Phoenix took her away because he was very scared to do it. Instead, he asked Astrid to leave the pack to her mate's pack.
"Why are you here tonight?." Kai asked. Kai, the son of Ani, a popular trader from a neighboring pack. Kai is a good friend of Phoenix.
"Please Kai stop all these questions for now let her stay here for her safety." Phoenix felt reluctant to say anything because he was involved in the beginning.
"What if the Alpha is looking for her," Kai asked because he was so surprised to see her without notice.
"Then let the Alpha know that she is here with you," Phoenix replied Kai
After the ceremony, Ryker was expecting Phoenix to return.
"Have you heard anything from Phoenix ?." Ryker asked Kage.
"No, perhaps he is at Astrid's house," Kage said to Ryker.
"Which means Astrid should have died by now if I may ask," Ryker questions Kage.
"Yes Ryker, this caused celebration," Kage replied with a little bit of a smile.
Unknowing to them that Phoenix already compromised because he is scared to take the life of the princess and for the sake of his friend Kai.
After a few days, Astrid came back to his father with Kai her mate including Kai's Father Ani.
"Where have you been, my princess." For the Alpha has been looking for her.
"Have been with my mate Kai for some days now." She replied to her father Cassius "Cash" Blackwood the Alpha
"Why do you refuse to go out with the guard? We are so much worried for your guard, not your whereabouts." The alpha mate said in her angry voice.
"I'm sorry moreover Phoenix is with me as one of the Army so I'm a safe mother." She replied Nancy, mother of the pack.
"Ani, why are you here?" The alpha was surprised to see the trader in his pack again.
"Yes My Lord we are to inform you of our interest in marrying your princess to our son Kai. Ani proposed to the Alpha on Kai and the Princess's marriage
"Wow, that 's the reason why you are here." The Alpha mate questioned Ani.
"Yes my Queen, we want the Alpha to bless them before the Assemblies and the elders of the pack," Ani Revealed why he came with his son Kai and the princess.
As they were talking, Ryker came in, including Kage and some wolf warriors.
"Is this not Phoenix ?" Kage asked
"Why is Astrid still alive?" Ryker asked as they both were whispering into their heart and questioning themselves.
"Ryker, I will marry soon with Kai," Astrid said as Ryker smiled at her as if he was happy with her and he responded to her.
"Wow wow wow." He begins to clap for her as the whole Assembly joins him to clap. After the meeting, he went to his father with a strong mind of evil.
"Dad Astrid is still alive, Phoenix betrayed us," Ryker told his father all about what happened in the pack.
"When will she get married?" Arkeus asked
"Three 3 days, time" Kage replied to him
"Phoenix needs to face the consequences of what he did," Arkeus said
"Yes, we will call on the assassins to do the job, he needs to be killed as much as possible for the sake of our secret" Kage replied
"No, I will do the job by myself now," Ryker responded with a worried and heartless mind
"Be careful son," Arkeus warn Ryker
"Phoenix will not be spared that day," Kage told Ryker to execute Phoenix.
"Go and get him for me now." Arkeus sent Kage to look for Phoenix that night and he went with some guards. And they found him on his way to the nearby pack. Straight away when he saw them Phoenix stopped.
"I know why you are after me and I know you will surely come for me." The Wolf warrior surrounded him.
"Phoenix, speak not any words now," Kage said. Immediately they took him to Arkeus and Ryker he was tied with rope and they all beat him up mensesly that night.
It was Astrid's wedding dinner party. People came from different packs, and drinks and all kinds of food were prepared by the caterer. People were dancing and rejoicing. The Alpha and Nancy Alpha mate who was the host to accommodate all the guest alpha of different packs came to rejoice with them. That night the drink that was given to Astrid to drink was very hot. Immediately when she started Decreased alertness. When Ryker noticed.
"Go after her now," he whispered to one of his army that was involved. And he goes after her. Ryker put on a mask including his men.
When Astrid got out of the event she was looking at the men putting on masks but she couldn't recognize them
"Hey, who are you?" Astrid asked as she displayed an of under alcohol influence.
"Get her into the chariots now" Ryker and his men kidnapped Astrid and took her away.
Kai was looking for her among the people he couldn't find her. Immediately he remembered that Phoenix said that she was not safe and he went outside to look for her. When Kage noticed he followed him.
