Chapter 3 - You Guys Are Too Weak!

Boom!

With a mere thought, Oliver's will spread out, releasing his soul power. In an instant, it covered tens of millions of kilometers, enveloping the chaotic world in all directions and piercing through both space and time.

The soul fluctuations around him blended seamlessly into the void, spreading effortlessly through the chaos. Any creature his soul energy detected would immediately be reflected in his consciousness, as though viewed through a mirror that transmitted and reflected all information.

"This is..."

In that moment, he realized something. Tens of millions of kilometers away, a swarm of terrifying deities was heading toward him, radiating a murderous aura.

Their forms resembled massive piranhas, each a gigantic being hundreds of thousands of kilometers in diameter. From a distance, it looked like hundreds of planets were on the move, a terrifying sight as if they were already sensing Oliver's aura and targeting him as prey. These piranha-like deities were swarming creatures, moving together in a group of hundreds.

"This world really isn't safe. In the midst of this endless chaos, there are more deities like me than I imagined."

Oliver thought to himself.

This chaotic world was vast and boundless, and the number of deities in it was likely far greater than he had expected. Otherwise, he wouldn't be encountering hundreds of them right now.

These deities seemed to behave like swarming creatures, which explained their large numbers.

In this world, Oliver might be considered gods, but in the Chaos World, such beings were as common as ordinary creatures in Earth's distant future.

When the Creation God Aether opened the universe, most of the God Race perished. The few survivors, compared to the newly born weaker creatures, appeared overwhelmingly powerful, which is why they were called gods.

Oliver had once again gained insight into the truth of history.

It also seemed these so-called gods weren't exactly friendly toward each other. Like animals in the jungle that prey on one another, those piranha-like deities were now coming after him, sensing his presence and eager to devour him.

Just as Oliver devoured the chaos around him to grow stronger, these piranhas sought to do the same by consuming him.

The weak become strong, and only the fittest survive.

That was the law of this chaotic world.

As the piranhas drew closer, more information filled Oliver's mind.

Name: Bloodthirsty Fish

Race: Deity

Deity Rating: 1

Attributes

Defense: 10

Strength: 20

Chaos Power: 10

Soul Power: 5

Skills: Unknown

Possessions: Unknown

Level 1?

Oliver was surprised. These godlike fish were clearly weaker than him, so why did they have the nerve to come after him?

Maybe it's because there are so many of them?

He considered it cautiously but had no intention of fleeing.

Their stats were far inferior to his. Though there were hundreds of them, running away didn't appeal to him. He was eager to test his strength. What if he could defeat them?

Every one of his stats was nearly ten times higher than theirs—if not more.

These bloodthirsty fish wanted to devour him, but Oliver could just as easily devour them. Inside their bodies, there was a large amount of chaotic energy, and consuming them would be much faster than slowly absorbing energy from the chaos itself.

Whoosh!

In an instant, Oliver's immense serpentine body swayed and disappeared into the void, silently slithering toward the divine creatures with incredible speed.

He activated his concealment skill, vanishing completely in the chaos.

At that moment, the piranhas, closing in on Oliver, suddenly froze in confusion. They had lost track of him.

Boom!

Just as they were disoriented, an ear-splitting roar erupted, and Oliver's enormous form suddenly materialized, crashing into the piranhas with the force of an explosion.

"Roar!"

The piranhas were stunned. They hadn't expected Oliver to appear beside them so silently, without them noticing beforehand.

They felt the immense pressure of his steel-like body bearing down on them, radiating an overwhelming aura of dominance.

"Die!"

In an instant, Oliver struck, moving with the instincts of a primordial giant serpent, using the raw power of his bloodline. His massive tail lashed out at supersonic speed, stirring up torrents of chaotic energy, moving too fast for the piranhas to react.

The tail whipped through the air like a deadly lash.

Bang!

In one blow, hundreds of piranhas had no time to defend themselves. They were struck with such devastating force that their bodies shattered into pieces, scattering through the chaos.

The blood of the gods filled the void, releasing a captivating scent. Each piece of their flesh contained potent chaotic energy.

"Hah, is this all you've got? Pathetic!"

Oliver blinked his round snake eyes.

The victory came so easily it left him stunned.

He had been prepared for a fierce battle, yet with a single swing of his tail, he wiped them all out.

The difference in power was more than ten times, and it turned out that the disparity in strength during combat was truly this vast.

But these piranhas were rather foolish. How could they not realize their weakness and still dare to hunt him?

Oliver quickly realized it wasn't that the piranha deities were too stupid, but rather that they lacked something he had—the Book of Chaos.

The book in his mind granted him the ability to access data on other gods.

Thanks to this data, he could easily tell that their stats were ten times weaker than his!

Moreover, being a human soul with mature intellect, Oliver had a considerable advantage. Many gods, newly born in the chaos, were still primitive and unaware of anything beyond their basic instincts, much like real animals.

Given all this, the encounter wasn't so surprising after all.
