"Where am I? I feel like I'm just floating in space, but I see nothing but darkness. How did I even get here? I don't remember. I can't feel my body—my arms, my legs—nothing. It seems like I'm just a soul. Why am I here? Can somebody please tell me?"
"Yes, I can Cole."
"Who are you? Where are you, and how do you know my name?" I looked around, trying to locate the source of the voice, but I saw nothing. "I am a god, Cole, and I need your help to regain my power."
"Okay, God, what is your name?" Cole asked.
"You might find it hard to understand my name, but just know this: Cole, I need your help, and you need mine," the voice replied.
"How can I assist you, and how can you assist me? I'm just a human, and what should I call you?" Cole inquired.
"You can call me Sage, Cole I can bring you back to life."I'm dead. Not surprised i'm a soul in a dark void talking to a god, so it makes sense I'm dead. But how did I die? I can't remember.
"You died in your sleep".Sage said.
'Ok, Sage can read minds nice to know I guess'." how can I help you, Sage."
"I need you to go to a powerful universe to collect powerful items to help me regain my power." A powerful universe sounds dangerous what's this universe called." Cole asked.
"It's the MCU but it's an alternate universe where the X-man and Inhumans exist," Sage responds.
"Ok, so I'm fuck nice to know ahead of time! How can you think an ordinary human can survive in a deadly universe like that fuck that just leave me in the void or send me to the afterlife I'm not going!" Cole responds to the crazy-ass God.
The MCU is not as dangerous as Marvel comics but it is still dangerous I can die easily just by minding my own business because heroes and villains decided to fight that day there is Hydra a crazy organization obsessed with world domination and SHIELD wants to know everything about you even your personal information and the reason why hydra is alive because some dumb ass decided it's a good idea to recruit their scientists.
Then there's the X-Men I like them but a lot of crazy stuff happens with them Apocalypse, the Brotherhood of Mutants, and the Dark Phoenix to name a few but there are a lot more the Inhumans are on the moon so there are no problems there but on the Agents of Shield show Inhumans have a secret place on Earth and their leader want to kill all humans.
And there's Thanos the Mad Titan that man who is in love with death and obsessed with erasing half of the universe that man is super strong and intelligent and has a fucking Army and there's the black Order's strongest and more deadly soldiers.
"Thank you, but I prefer not to die a painful death," Cole said to Sage. And the fact I will be alone dealing with all this stuff by myself.
"You will not be an ordinary human; I will grant you powers and a system, and I can summon three individuals from less powerful universes to assist you," Sage said.
'Ok, so I'm not completely fuck ' Cole thought. "can I choose the summon peoples, and what kind of powers and system I can get.
You can choose two low-level powers, and you can choose three people and you will get a gacha system, but it will be street-level. If you want to level it up, you need to get me some power from the universe, Sage said.
"What kind of powerful items do you need? "Cole has some idea of what items Sage needs to gain her power.
The Infinity Stones
The casket of ancient winters
The crimson gem of sidrak
The destroyer
The eternal flame
Darkhold
"..." Cole Mine froze for a second.
"you want me to take items from gods"! Cole yell.
"Yes". Sage said in a neutral voice.
"Okay, let me think about the other people and powers I need," Cole said in a sad voice.
"I want to remind you that you can only summon low-level characters, so please avoid high-level ones like Superman, Batman, or similar heroes," Sage said.
For my needs, I require a magic user, a scientist, and a fighter, but again, let's stick to low-level characters. This means I should exclude Constantine, Raven, Zatanna, and Doctor Fate. Instead, let's consider options from other universes, such as Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries, The Magicians, and Once Upon a Time. Evil characters are automatically out I need good characters or morally gray characters and they need to be powerful, Bonnie Bennett is out she is powerful but does not have a lot of experience. Harry Potter is out he doesn't know a lot of spells.
Dumbledore is a good candidate, but he might keep secrets from me, as I didn't trust him much in the movie. Then there's Regina from Once Upon a Time; she is good and is not afraid to kill, so she is a possible choice. There are also magician characters that I can think of—many of them are powerful enough to survive in the Marvel universe. However, my favorite character is Dean Fog; he is a Master Magician who is powerful enough to remember alternate timelines and genuinely cares for his students. And he can hide our base like his school.
"Okay, my first choice is Dean Fog," Cole said.
"That's a good choice. I can summon him. One moment," Sage replied.
As Sage spoke, the void suddenly shook, and Dean Fog appeared.
"What the hell?" Dean Fog exclaimed, shocked. He was floating like me, but unlike me, he had a physical body. He looked around and spotted a blue orb-like flame.
He turned to me and asked, "Who or what are you? Did you bring me here, or did the gods do it?"
I replied, "Yes and no. The gods in your universe did not summon you I technically did summon you."
"What do you mean, 'technically, why I'm here?'" Dean Fog asked, a serious expression on his face. I could see that he was ready to fight, and I didn't blame him. To prevent any confrontation, I decided to explain everything about Sage, Marvel, and the dangers lurking in the universe. I also mentioned that I had summoned him here for a reason.
Dean Fog pulled out a flask from his suit and took a big drink from it. "I could use twenty more of these," he said.
"Sorry I just really need your help," Cole said in a very desperate tone.
"Fine. My world— is it any better? it's literally an apocalypse in that place where everyone I care about is dead. Now I have nothing left to go back to. But I would like to know your name," Dean Fog said. "My name is Cole," Cole replied. "Cole what?" Dean Fog asked. "Cole… I can't remember my last name, or what I look like, or my family, or friends. Why do I remember movies, TV shows, and comics but not my friends and family?" Cole said, panic rising in his voice. "I don't know," Cole said, becoming more anxious. "Then let's ask this strange God who brought us here," Dean Fog suggested. "I erased some of his memories to make it easier for him," Sage explained. "You had no right to do that!" Cole yelled angrily at Sage. "It was the best option for you. If I hadn't done it, you would be sad and heartbroken, probably begging to be sent back to your world, which is impossible because you died there," Sage said, their voice filled with pity.
I just remain silent for a while thinking of what I should do next" ok I see your point but I still don't like it, "Cole tells Sage.
"Why do you need power, and why do you need our help?" Dean Fog asked.
"I'm dying, and I need powerful items to help me survive," Sage replied.
"Gods can die? How is that possible? Can all gods die?" Dean Fog asked, intrigued.
"Yes, gods like me can die. I'm a low-level god who needs a powerful source of energy to stay alive. Higher-level gods don't need that; they can create their own sources of power to survive," Sage explained.
"Okay, that's all I need to know," Dean Fog said, his curiosity satisfied.
"I've been here long enough, so I'd like to choose my two other summons," Cole replied, sounding tired.
"Next on my list is a scientist. I can think of a lot of smart people, but one comes to mind: Sister Sage from 'The Boys' or Jessica Bradley. Sister Sage is intelligent and a master manipulator, but she's not a good person because, in her world, humans are terrible. I think I can convince her to help me, though."
"My second choice is Sister Sage from 'The Boys,'" Cole said.
Once again, the void shook, and Sister Sage appeared.
Sister Sage looked around and noticed a man in his forties, standing by a blue orb-like flame.
"Okay, this is interesting. Why am I here?" Sister Sage asked.
I spoke first. "It'll be complicated and confusing, but I'll do my best to explain everything." I then told her everything about Marvel, and the dangers it posed, and shared information about myself, Dean Fog, and the god Sage.
"This world seems like mine, but it is much more dangerous," Sister Sage said, surprised, though her expression barely changed. "Actually, the DC Universe in your world is more similar," Cole remarked as he shared some information about DC. "So, in the DC Universe, Homelander is a good guy? Good for them," Sister Sage replied in a neutral tone.
"So what's in it for me? Why should I help you?" Sister Sage asked.
"A challenge," Cole thinks. 'I hope this works.' " This world is filled with dangers and smarter people than you might expect. To truly have fun, it would be about changing it to prove you are the smartest, and you don't have to wear a silly costume to do that."
"Smarter people than me?" Sister Sage replied, unconvinced.
"Yes, there are definitely much smarter people," Cole responded. "Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, Dr. Otto Octavius, Dr. Curt Connors, and Hank Pym are all incredibly intelligent. Tony Stark has developed an infinite source of clean energy. Dr. Otto Octavius created an artificial sun, while Dr. Curt Connors developed a serum that allowed him to transform into a lizard and regenerate his arm. Bruce Banner invented a water purification device in just one day, and Hank Pym's Pym Particles can shrink anything. These are just a few examples; there are many other brilliant minds in Marvel."
Sister Sage looks at me with a neutral expression, as if questioning my honesty. "How can I trust you? How do I know you're telling the truth?"
I responded, "Why would I invite you here just to lie to you? I genuinely need your help, so there's no reason for deception. Please trust me for now, and I will do my best to earn your confidence." Sister Sage thought about what I said. "Alright, for now, I will trust you. But if things start to go wrong, our partnership will end there."
"Okay, that's fair. I can't ask you to risk your life for someone you just met," Cole said. 'I can't fully trust her, but I'm pretty sure I can earn her trust by appealing to her ego. After all, her pride comes from being the smartest.'
I'm looking for someone to teach me how to fight. I initially considered picking Deathstroke, but since he's on the same level as Batman, I don't think I can choose him. Instead, the next best option I have in mind is Painkiller from the Arrowverse. He is like a super soldier and he has powers like Paralytic Venom touch, Anti-venom touch, Poisonous blood, an Accelerated healing factor, Toxic immunity, and Telepathy immunity and he is skilled in 23 different martial arts.
"for my last choice, I choose painkiller from the Arrowverse" Cole said.
Once again, the void shook and two Painkiller appeared. I was confused at first, but then I remembered that there are two different entities within the same body: Painkiller and Khalil. Khalil wears white clothing, while Painkiller is dressed in black, just like in the show.
Painkiller and Khalil notice a young Black woman who appears to be in her twenties, alongside a Black man who looks to be in his forties. They also see a blue orb-like flame.
"Who the hell are you all, and why are we in this dark place?" Painkiller asks, clearly angry.
"I'd like to know that too, so I advise you to hurry up and explain before things get ugly," Khalil says. Though he appears calm, there is an undertone of anger in his voice.
I sigh and begin to explain everything about Marvel, about the God, and the reasons for their presence here."Why should we help you "Khalil asks "And what's in it for us if we do" Painkiller adds.
"A fresh start and a clean slate. Both of you have been used for evil, but you can change that and help many people. Khalil, I know you want to be a hero, and Painkiller, you have the chance for a new life by helping others instead of harming the innocent." Cole hoped his words would resonate with them. Khalil and Painkiller exchanged glances, their expressions shifting as if they were communicating telepathically. It makes sense since they are technically the same person.
They both looked at me. "Fine, we will help, but only under certain conditions," Khalil said with a serious expression.
"Okay, what are those conditions?" I asked curiously.
"We will not kill innocent people, no matter what," Khalil replied. "And we refuse to be anyone's puppet, so don't order us around as if we are. Tell us the mission in detail, and if we like it, we'll participate," Painkiller added.
"I agree, and as soon as I have the money, I will pay you for your work," Cole said with a sense of relief. "Okay, I have my team ready. Now it's time to focus on my powers. I don't need to think about it for too long; I already know what I want. For my first power, I want Toji's Heavenly Restriction body, and for my second power, I want Gowther's abilities from The Seven Deadly Sins." I excitedly said with Toji's Heavenly Restriction body, I could function like a super soldier. Additionally, with Gowther's abilities, I could easily read minds and potentially learn magic.
Here's a refined version of your passage for smoother flow and to enhance the descriptive quality:
Once again, the void trembled, and I felt myself begin to change. My form shifted and molded, a physical body taking shape from the nothingness. As the process completed, I couldn't see myself fully yet, but I noticed the strength in my arms—they were muscular—and the firm lines of abs on my torso.
Excitement bubbled up within me. I couldn't wait to see my reflection. If how I felt was any indication, I was certain I looked incredible.
"There are your allies and your powers and your system will activate once you get to the world," Sage said.
"Okay one more thing can you make sure no higher beings can see us or mess with our souls" Cole said.
"No, I can't do that," Sage said, their voice calm but firm. "But I can make sure the Ancient One, the TVA, and Heimdall don't notice you."
"Okay," Cole said, his disappointment clear.
"Remember, Cole," Dean Fog interjected, his gaze shifting to me, "Sage is a lower-level god."
"Yeah, you're right. Well, I guess it's time to head to the New World," Cole said, a smile spreading across his face.
"Indeed, it is time for you all to go," Sage replied, their tone calm yet resolute. "Don't worry about your identities—I've taken care of that. And I'll grant you the ability to communicate with each other, no matter where you are."
As Sage spoke, four white lights emerged, drifting toward us before merging with our bodies.
A moment later, my vision went black.
