In the morning, Kaito woke from a much-needed nap. He stretched and looked around, feeling relaxed. His new friend, the dragon, was still there, happily sleeping and making soft noises, her belly full from the dried meat he had given her the night before.
"Guess I really did make a friend," Kaito mumbled, rubbing his eyes and adjusting his glasses.
Suddenly, to his surprise, the dragon transformed into a woman right in front of him. She was beautiful and had a playful smile. Leaning back on one elbow, her eyes sparkled in the sunlight.
Good morning, Kaito," she said playfully, her voice kind and charming. "You didn't think you would see me like this, did you?"
Kaito was surprised and confused. "I didn't know you could do that," he said nervously, feeling a little embarrassed. "You were just a dragon."
She laughed, and her laughter filled the room like music. "Oh, I can do much more than just fly, my friend. I have many surprises." She stretched her arms, and the sunlight sparkled on her skin.
She leaned forward, her playful grin growing. "You fed me well last night; I'm not in the mood for anything more than fun."
Kaito "Yeah, that sounds fine.
"Why not start with a little adventure right here at home?" She winked, showing her playful side. "Show me what it's like to be human, Kaito."
"I don't know... erm maybe later at night .
"But you should probably get some clothes on first," Kaito said.
"Clothes?" she asked, a hint of laughter in her voice. "Why would I want to hide such magnificence?"
Kaito laughed a little, trying to be casual. "In the human world, we have some funny rules, and wearing clothes is one of them," he said, seeing how relaxed she was.
She raised an eyebrow, amused and curious. "Okay, if that's what I need to fit in," she said, waving her hand. Suddenly, she was wearing a light, shiny tunic.
"Wow, that's cool," Kaito said, nodding. "You really have some magic tricks."
Just then, Sora and the guild chief walked onto the rooftop, and Kaito turned, feeling a mix of surprise and embarrassment. Sora's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Kaito! What's going on here?" Sora asked, half-shocked and half-amused.
The guild chief chuckled softly, crossing his arms with a knowing smile. "I must say, you've made quite the new friend, Kaito."
"Um, well ... "This is... uh, my dragon friend, who, I guess, is now a human."
The woman smiled brightly, now fully aware of her audience. "Good morning, everyone! I'm not just a dragon; I'm Liora. Kaito was kind enough to feed me last night, and I thought it would be fun to visit in a different form."
Sora blinked, trying to understand everything. "So you can turn into a human just like that? This is wild!"
Liora . "Being a dragon is exciting, but exploring the human world is even more thrilling. Right, Kaito?"
Kaito nodded eagerly. "Yeah, absolutely! We were just about to… you know, show you around."
Sora raised an eyebrow, still skeptical. "What kind of 'showing around' were you planning? Maybe wandering around the rooftops isn't the best idea while the city is waking up."
The guild chief looked intrigued. "This could change how we approach challenges if dragons can communicate with us. Liora, can you help us with bigger issues in the city?"
Liora thought for a moment. "If we bond well, I can help in many ways. But I'm here for fun first! Maybe I can add some excitement to your routine," she said with a grin.
Kaito laughed, feeling relieved by Liora's light-hearted approach. "Okay, we can start with something simple. The city has many cafes and parks. That's usually where the fun is, right?"
Sora crossed her arms, still a bit skeptical but curious. "You think taking her out is a good idea? People might freak out seeing a dragon turn into a human."
Liora raised a finger thoughtfully. "Oh, that sounds fun! Who wouldn't want to know about the magic of dragons turning into humans? We could create a whole new story!"
Kaito leaned back, smiling. "And who doesn't love a good story on a quiet morning? Let's do it!"
The guild chief nodded. "A new alliance could benefit us. Just be careful; we wouldn't want to create panic in the city."
With excitement, Kaito clapped his hands. "Let's grab some breakfast first! I know a great place that serves the best pastries. You'll love them!"
Liora grinned, her excitement clear. "I've never had a pastry before! How do you eat those?"
Kaito laughed as he walked to the rooftop access. "It's easy. You just bite into it. Trust me, you'll want to once you see them."
Sora followed closely behind, shaking her head with a smile. "I thought your laziness would get us into trouble, Kaito, but it looks like you have a knack for weird adventures after all."
As they headed down to the busy streets below, Liora walked next to Kaito, her eyes full of excitement. The city was buzzing with morning vibes, and for once, Kaito felt really awake.
"No more napping now, Kaito!" Liora teased, her laughter ringing through the streets. "We have an adventure to start!"
With that, the day lay ahead of them, full of fun, laughter, and new stories to share. Kaito realized that he might have found the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, all because of a dragon who loved pastries and having a good time.
