Minutes later her and Achilles entered her room. Achilles spun her around and asked "What were you thinking Aurelia? What if Lord Hades and I had not shown up on time? "
She swallowed, still feeling the phantom touch of the demon's grip on her skin.
"I'm sorry Achilles. I… I didn't think…" she started but was cut off by Achilles' angry words.
"No, you didn't." Achilles ran a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply.
"Aurelia this is not about feeling sorry. My lord warned you about the dangers of coming outside your room today, for heaven's sake even I warned you." He said angrily but she knew he was concerned.
She flinched at his words, guilt washing over her,"I wasn't trying to put myself in danger. I just—"
"You not only left the room, but attended the ball. Do you know how worried my lord and I got when we heard your scream." He breathed out but before she could reply and apologize again, her room door opened.
