As soon as he disappeared down the corridor, she turned on her heel and hurried toward the library. Pushing the grand doors open, she stepped inside. She looked around hoping no one was in there.
She started navigating through the towering bookshelves, her fingers trailed over the spines of ancient texts until she found the little button on the shelf.
She pressed the button and the moment she did, a faint click echoed through the shelves. A portion of the bookshelf groaned and shifted, revealing a narrow room behind it. Without hesitation, Aurelia stepped through, ensuring the door sealed behind her.
