Chapter 1 - Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

In the room long forgotten by their owner, a silver mirror hangs on the wall. The room was dark, no reflection to see in this dark room it could only remain silent. Perhaps it would have remained the same but not anymore as it was chosen to become the vessel of something it shouldn't have.

Reflection on the mirror distorts soon the door that opens, bringing the long-lost light to the empty room but that was only in the reflection. In the real world the room remained silent, swallowed by the glooming shadow, settled dust remained the same while the room in the reflection tasted the clean air once again after a long time.

But even so, the reflection remained cold as ever, a man dressed in green hospital clothes, his raven-colored hair was long almost reaching his lower back. His skin was sickly pale as if there was no blood remaining in his body.

"So I have died."

The man comes in front of the mirror touching his face feeling nothing but smooth skin, no eyes, nose, or mouth, only smooth surface. Then his empty face twisted, and slowly two eyes emerged on his face. Two empty lifeless blank eyes that were so empty looking at it felt like observing an endless abyss.

He didn't recreate his whole face but now you could at least tell he was a young man.

"Much better."

He didn't bother with setting up a mouth or nose, it wasn't needed for him actually the eyes were useless too but the empty face just didn't go well in his mind. He no longer being human so he should stop thinking like one. He used the mirror to look into the real world, with a gentle touch on the mirror it created a rippling effect.

Soon his hand went through the mirror sadly there was no change on the other side, no pale hand was stretching out from the mirror like in a horror movie nor there was any change in the mirror in the physical world. Disappointed sigh escaped from the young man, where did it come from? Nobody knows and the young man didn't care enough to fonder that.

"Hmm, this is troublesome. What am I supposed to do in this empty room?"

The world of reflection in the mirror was limited, limited to this room, empty and old, even the light he brought to this place wasn't enough to erase it is gloom. In the end, he decided to use the gift given to him by the will of this world, touching air-glowing runes that only he could see and understand appeared in front of him.

"How lonely, in the end, I am now simply a mirror huh?"

With no physical body, he could only sit in that lonely room forgotten by the world alone.

"How lonely."

Little by little the time passes by without a single soul visiting him Edward remained caged in the world of reflection. Hours become days, days become weeks, weeks become months, and in the end, several years have passed since he last came to this place.

It's just that Edward doesn't know but while he was trapped in that mirror the outside world went through various changes, humanity evolved and stepped into the realm of the supernatural, and the laws of physics were violated too many times resulting in the universe to play back with the humanity.

Magic has become rather common, the monsters in the legends come to reality, and the universe which was seeking balance all this time has been driven mad by the humanities bringing a new era where something unnatural is natural and extraordinary is ordinary.

Wars are waged for humanity is survival, they lost to some and they have won in some, now with no way to return the small planet called Earth turned into a wall of weirdness in the corner of the universe attracting what's unknown and bizarre from all across the very universe.
