Dentora, Republic of Padokea.
"Woo—"
A sightseeing bus full of passengers traveled along the ring road toward the Zoldyck family's residence—Kukuroo Mountain.
In the car, Keiko, dressed as a pink girl, spread the legend of the Zoldyck family to the passengers with a clear voice, causing a commotion from time to time.
"The Zoldycks—the world's number one killer family—passed down through five generations, are all ruthless killing machines."
"Rumor has it, there's no one in the world the Zoldycks can't kill!"
"As long as you can afford the price, the Zoldyck family can complete your commission."
Keiko nervously put a finger to her mouth, but a disdainful sneer came from the back seat.
"Cut~ Cocoa Sauce, we Mani Brothers aren't intimidated."
"I've heard that the Zoldyck family's bounty is at least one hundred million."
The person who spoke was a fat man with an extremely burly figure. He opened his arms, revealing a thick chest covered in hair. A pair of dark, predatory eyes emitted a greedy green light whenever he mentioned the bounty.
Beside him sat his younger brother, who possessed a broad chest and was stronger than his sibling. He occupied two seats, sitting like a small hill.
Their presence exuded an oppressive atmosphere; the entire bus seemed to struggle slightly under their weight.
These two were not ordinary tourists; they resembled bounty hunters pursuing the Zoldyck's bounty.
Ke Kelu had seen this type of person before.
"Yeah, the Zoldycks are worth a lot, but—"
"I suggest you reconsider taking on the Zoldycks."
"I've been a tour guide for several years, and I've never seen anyone leave the Zoldyck's house alive."
Keiko offered this advice kindly.
"Oh—"
However, the man with the thick chest hair sneered, remaining noncommittal.
We are all adults; don't try to trick us!
"What is the world's deadliest family? Aren't they all human?"
"As long as you are human, you will die!"
The Mani brothers dismissed this, touching the bulging backpack filled with explosives. This gave them confidence.
It was at this moment—
"Squeak—"
The bus braked and stopped next to a pole.
"Step—step—"
Immediately, the car door opened, and a handsome young man approached.
He appeared to be fifteen or sixteen, with a handsome face, but he was blind. He leaned on a cane, carrying a plastic bag filled with oil, salt, sauce, vinegar, fruits, vegetables, and fresh meat. He had clearly done a lot of shopping at the foot of the mountain.
I don't understand how this blind man buys vegetables. Looking at his unfocused eyes, perhaps he uses his sense of smell.
The bus passengers were startled by the blind man's sudden arrival, and strange expressions appeared on their faces.
The blind man acted as if no one was there. After boarding the bus, he gave Keiko a gentle smile and complimented her: "Miss Keiko, you are beautiful again."
Keiko smiled sweetly at this: "Thank you, Roy."
Roy approached Keiko, smelled her hair, nodded slightly, tapped his cane, and then carefully made his way to the back row, checking for empty seats.
Few seats remained, only one next to the Mani brothers in the last row.
The two men were vicious, and it was obvious they were not good people. It was too late to avoid them, so Roy, unaware of the danger, walked directly to them.
Once he reached the front, he sat beside the two men.
"Huh~ I'm really tired."
In the heat of the day, with the sun rising, Roy leaned against the bus window, enjoying the breeze. He put down his bag, took out an ice cream, and relaxed.
He hissed occasionally, letting out puffs of cool air. This attracted attention, including Brother Mani's.
"Boy, don't tell me you're here for sightseeing?"
From the moment Roy boarded, Mani noticed the blind man. He placed a hand on Roy's shoulder.
Mani rolled his eyes, thinking to himself that this blind man's presence must be significant. Simply talking to Keiko suggested this wasn't his first time on this bus.
But this isn't an ordinary bus; it's a bus to the Zoldyck house!
So... what's a blind man doing at the Zoldyck house?
Perhaps there's only one explanation—
"Are you the Zoldycks' housekeeper?"
"Did you come down the mountain to shop?"
Mani's single word broke the silence, and he stared intently at Roy. A hush fell over the bus.
Then came a murmur...
"Eh? Butler? Don't tell me it's really possible."
"A blind man wouldn't be sightseeing, would he? After all, he can't see anything!"
"But...if he's really the Zoldycks' housekeeper, the Zoldycks are cruel!"
"It's inhumane to let a blind man go down the mountain to shop!"
"Heh~ It's more likely to see a sow climb a tree than expect humanity from a family of assassins!"
"—Hey~ Blind man, tell us about the Zoldyck family?"
"If you're paid, you'll kill even President V5, is that true?"
...
The eyes are focused; the noise is loud.
Even though Roy couldn't see it, he felt the intensity of their gaze. He ignored them, slowly eating his ice cream.
Mani, seeing this, smiled coldly. He touched Roy's back, produced a switchblade with a flick of his wrist, and pressed it against Roy's neck.
"Boy, take us to Zoldyck Manor!"
