I've always known luxury,spoke luxury,thought luxury,I didn't know what hardwood was or having to suffer to get things,I always had all I wanted and even more.I have lived in fancy homes and popular cities.my parents are well to do and provide all I need and more,my life took a turn when i lost my dad in a ghastly car accident,that day I woke up with so much anger,I didn't know why I guess it's what they call "waking from the wrong side of the bed " I had this unsettling spirit,i reached out to my phone when the alert went off and it's already past breakfast time and told the helps never to wake me up. Rushing downstairs I was informed my parents already left for the airport on their way to New York for a medical conference,I mean both of parents are doctors who were hardly home home because of the nature of their jobs, i was in my third year at the university and I had already gotten used to not having them around,I can't count how many birthdays they've missed so waking to their absence wasn't a new thing. Immediately I came downstairs,my phone rang and the person at the other end asked if this is miss Amanda and I responded in affirmative and I was asked to rush down to the city hospital ,I had alot of questions what happened? Where are my parents? How's my mum? I mean I had a lot of questions but I needed to rush to the hospital,well I managed to put myself together and beckoned on my driver to take me to the hospital. I got the hospital and I was able to identify my dad's body and he was immediately moved to the morgue whilst I was pacing around at the entrance of the theatre since my mum was rushed into the theatre for an emergency surgery she had suffered a fractured skull and multiple injuries,after couple of hours she was brought and was taken to the intensive care unit,just like that in a day my whole world took a drastic turn.life can really be unfair and now I know.
