in the year 2026, all of a sudden, otherworldly dimensional gates opened on the earth and otherworldly monsters invaded the entire world. it's called great cataclysm. when humanity seemed to be coming to an end, then a few of people awakened with special powers and saved the humanity. they're called the heroes of the great cataclysm.
Even though twenty years had passed, the gates were still existed and grew in numbers, in all over the world.
Arun was a non awaken who was worked as a labor in the monsters field. he was risked his life everyday but still he couldn't afford proper treatment for his younger sister who was suffering from hypermana disorder.
[Whenever the dungeon break occurred a strong mana wave flowed in that place, if a non awaken human came into contact with it, his body couldn't handle the dense mana flow. because of the mana overflowed in his body, his body started to breaking out day by day.]
Its only one treatment existed in that time and it was treatable with ice stone which was rare and found in high rank dungeons or by the rare class monster (ice bear). due to the dense mana flow he couldn't able to enter the dungeons so he worked as a labor in the monsters field and risked his life everyday. he thought, one day he would find the ice stone and saved his younger sister's life.
[When the dimensional gates break occurred, monsters came out from the gates and where hunters didn't able to defeat the boss monsters, they were declared those places their domain, its called monsters field.]
One day he went to the monsters field with the BlueRose guild as a labor, the field was stated in a hilly forest in Sri lanka.
[After the great cataclysm, a few heroes made contracts with awakens and established the guilds for the peace of humanity. and started raiding the dungeons and monsters field, and they monopolized all the resources from the raided dungeons and monsters field.]
The BlueRose guild was one of the top10 guilds in India. and they sent a strong raiding team, there were 20 C-rank, 15 B-rank and 5 A-rank hunters. there was also an S-rank hunter, Raghav who was known for his fire type magic powers and he was appointed as a team leader.
Despite their team, that raid was not going to be easy for them because there were more than expected C and B-rank wolf monsters. and there were also 5 A-rank and an S-rank Boss monster who was standing on the top of the hill and emerging the immense dark mana, because of that he seemed to be like a predator. and that field were seemed to be like a large colony of the wolf monsters. that seen was horrible for the hunters, but they had also a famous S-rank hunter so they were not that scared and instantly attacked the monsters.
While Raiding team was hunting the monsters, a few monsters escaped from them and starting to chase the labor team that was standing at a distance from the hunting ground. Arun who was in the labor team was chasing out by a monster during that time he saw a cave without thinking he was running towards the cave and entered into the cave. due to the strange reason the monster didn't come to near the cave and returned towards the hunting ground.
He felt something off about the cave, it was dark there so he couldn't see anything properly. but he was badly injured so he couldn't return to the team. And he decided to rest for sometime....
While Arun was sitting against wall of the cave, he sensed a dense mana flow from deep inside the cave. he scared but at the same time he was curious about the mana flow, after some thoughts he was walking towards the source of the mana flow.
And when he reached deep inside the cave, he saw a strange run which was emerging a dark reddish mana. after that a strange thing like a black leave appeared infront of his eyes. and he was starting to feel dizzy and fallen onto the ground.
While he was starting to come to his senses, he heard a strange voice echoed in the cave. A voice that felt like an old human who was in his early 70's were laughing out loud.
'What's this noise?, neither i can't see him here nor feel his presence. and why is he laughing that loud?'
Arun was scared because of his peal of laughter, also he didn't have any power so he couldn't do anything about it. after sometime Arun said fearfully.
"W-who are you?.... why are you laughing so loud?"
First, he ignored Arun's questions but after he stopped his laughing then he replied....
"haahaahaahaaaaaa.....Human.. it's v-very long time that i have seen any human. you're the first human i have seen after 10,000 years."
'W-what the hell is he talking about, is he a human or otherworldly species. Either he is from Earth or from another world but His voice seems to be an old man's who is about his early 70's. but why is he talking like, as he had been prisoned here for 10,000 years?'
Arun had no idea what's going around on there. as he heard only his voice while he was thinking about escaping from there, the run was starting to float in the air and a voice came from the run.
"Human, what's your name?" Arun told his name hesitantly as if he didn't want to tell.
"A-Arun"
"So Arun if you have a chance to become stronger than anyone else in this world, what would you do?" at first Arun thought for a while and then he replied.
"I won't let that chance slip away." Arun said.
"What's the reason for that?"
Without thinking he said. "Because i have someone i wanna protect."
"If i give you that chance what would you do?"
Arun thought: 'why is he asking so many questions?' and then he answered.
"even if you give me that chance i won't let go that"
"even if i am a demon?" that being asked.... Arun was socked to hear that question and fear was clearly visible in his eyes.
'W-what?!... d-demon.... so he is a demon.... what do i do? i'm stuck here with a demon.... i'm going to die here without any girlfriend. if i knew this before coming here, i would never have come here.. only for this time, please God save me from this demon.... i will offer 10,000$... (i have not that much money and i have to pay for medicine)... not 10,000$ but 100$ to you. so please save me.'
"What are you thinking that deeply?" demon asked.
"N-nothing.... why are you asking that if you are a real demon?"
"Oh.. i am a real demon but don't worry i'm not gonna eat you."
"So you have eaten humans before?"
"I said i am not that kind of demon who eat the humans."
"Oh i see.. (thank God, i'm saved) but you're a demon how can i trust you?"
"First, gave me the answer. after that i will answer your question."
"Honestly, if you give me powers without ill intentions and help humanity, even if you are a demon or a monster i don't care about it."
the demon was impressed by his answers and make a proposal.
"Is that so.. okay i have decided to make you my vessel. so make a contract with me." after the demon said, a cold voice of a female echoed in his mind and a system window appeared infront of him.
[Do you want to make a contract with the demon king, ??]
