"I really hate these damn chore missions."
Hinata: "I don't particularly like them myself, but what can you do about it?"
I grinned. "Complain. I saw a certain builder come into the village earlier." - "Has it really been that long." - "Yep." - "Are you ready?" - "Are you?
I've never. Offed anyone, but we don't have to. We only have to scare them away." - "You know that Haku and Zabuza won't scare away."
I sealed the last thing I needed for a trip, put it on my arm then looked at Hinata. "Yes. I know that. But that's why I'll keep Kakashi healthy. He can do it." - "So you'll let Kakashi kill for you." - "It's not like he hasn't before."
Hinata strapped her seal to her arm and looked at me with a frown.
"Don't frown at me. If you want them dead. You do it yourself."

Hiruzen: "Now then, for Squad 7's next mission. We have several available tasks."
Hinata looked at me waiting for me to go off.
I put my hand up to show to wait.
Hiruzen: "Among them, babysitting the chief counselors, three-year-old, helping his wife to do the shopping, digging up potatoes, and."
'Okay. That's enough.' "No. No. No! We need a real mission. You are squashing our potential doing these small tiny chores missions. We are ninjas, not housewives."
Iruka: "How dare you!? You're just a brand new Genin with no experience."
"You have to be kidding me. Babysitting. Babysitting is a mission! It gives me experience?"
Kakashi tried to hit the back of my head but I caught his hand and looked at him with my Dojutsu activated.
He pulled his hand away. "Will you put a lid on it?"
Hiruzen: "Naruto. It seems you do not understand it as you have been given."
"Oh, no. I get them. It's to show who's the top dog around here. I get that. What you don't get is I'm about to go insane. I got more action in class, than I am in these. "Missions." As you claim."
Hiruzen started to laugh. "I see. If you truly want a better mission that bad. So be it." - "Finally!" - "Since you are so determined, I'm going to give you a C-ranked mission.
You'll be bodyguards on a journey."
"Oh, let me guess. It's a bridge builder!"
His eyebrows lifted a bit. "Good guess. Bring in our Visitor now!"
The door opened to reveal who I was expecting. "What the? A bunch of little snot-nosed kids?" He downed a bunch of his drink.
I shook my head and looked at Hinata who matched my look.

I grabbed a different watch and then handed Hinata a set of bracelets.
Hinata: "What are these?" - "Your new suit. The old one isn't Battle-ready. This one is.
It has a few abilities the old one didn't." - "Like?" - "The ability to cloak its whole appearance. It changes what it looks like and even our eyes can't see the difference, it's due to it being tech instead of Chakra. It also has the ability to fly. Not long, but enough that it should be able to get you out of a jam. It also has enough nanites to rebuild itself 50 times over." - "You make yourself a new one? I saw you grabbed a different watch." - "Yeah. Mine, well you know. It was just fabric. But now it has plates like Iron Man's armor. Not exactly what I want it to look like, but it's the best I can do for now.
I'm currently more focused on biological things, so tech is taking a short break."
She put on her bracelets then the suit flowed out from them.
{Suits.}
Hinata: "I like it. I wish it was purple though." - "Next time. You ready?" - "Yeah."
My suit flowed over me then a section formed above my hand and I opened a portal.
Hinata: "Not bad. That's definitely more handy than carrying around the gun." - "Yeah. It was a must in this version."
We walked through and it led us near the gate.

"Oh, yeah! Finally."
Kakashi: "Why are you excited?" - "It's my first time out of the village."
Tazuna: "Hey, am I supposed to trust my life to this runt? He's a joke."
Kakashi: "He might be an idiot sometimes, but he's actually strong, and I'm a Jonin, so there's no need to worry."
"Hey! I don't know if I should be thankful or mad."
Hinata chuckled and I glared at her.
Kakashi: "Yep, let's get a move on."
We started to walk and I heard something so I activated my eyes and spotted our new friends.
While looking straight, I saw Hinata had her eyes activated too.

Far down the path we passed a puddle so I activated my eyes and pointed down at it.
I saw Hinata nod to show she had seen it and was ready.
Shortly after we passed the puddle the two ninjas launched out of the puddle.
They threw their chain out at Kakashi.
A Kunai dropped down into my hand at I threw it at the chain to set it off course.
I went after the guy on the left and Hinata on the right.
I struck him in the chest, then shut down 4 of his Tenketsu. He went to his knees unable to use his arms and out of breath.
I looked over to see Hinata's guy roughly in the same position as mine.
"Good job."
Hinata: "Thanks."
Kakashi: "Yes. Great job you two. You were right on it." He picked up the two attackers and started to carry them over to a tree.
I looked at Sasuke. "Are you okay?"
He huffed. "I'm fine. Don't need you worrying about me... show off."
Kakashi: "Mr. Tazuna..." - "Yeah. What?" - "... We need to talk."
Hinata: "Someone's in trouble."
I smiled and shook my head.
Kakashi put the two up against a tree. He pulls his bag off his back and lets go of them.
To make me feel better and to show off Adamantine Sealing Chain shot out of my back and held them against the tree.
I saw Kakashi's eyebrow rose and he looked back at me. "Adamantine Sealing Chains. Huh. Not bad."
He pulled out some rope and and put it above my chain.
Once it was secured I pulled back the chain.
Kakashi stood back up and stared down at them. "They're Chunin from the Village hidden in the Mist. Their specialty is relentless attack. They keep fighting, no matter what the sacrifice."
Mist ninja: "How did you know about our ambush?"
"Oh, they woke up. Want the honor?"
Hinata: "Well, I'm telling you this in case you have a next time. But if you are going to use a puddle make sure it has raisins recently. It hasn't in weeks."
I activated my eyes. "That and we have been tracking you since we left the village."
Kakashi: "You have?"
Hinata: "On and off. Yes." - "And you didn't say anything?"
"Didn't want to alert them. We had under control."
Kakashi: "Well, since they took them out so quickly, I don't know exactly who their target was. But I have an idea." As he turns to Tazuna.
Tazuna: "What are you getting at?" - "This. I wanted to know if they were after us, ninja fighting ninja, Or if they were after you, the master bridge builder.
When you put in your request, you asked for standard protection from robbers and highwaymen. You didn't say anyone was hunting you down. If we knew this, it would be a B rank, mission, or higher. Our task was simply to get you to your destination And text you while you finished your bridge. If we knew we'd be fielding attacks from ninjas, we would be staffed differently and charge for the cost of a B-ranked mission. Apparently, you have your reasons, but lying to us is not acceptable. We are now on the scope of this mission."
"But we are not going back. Right?"
Hinata: "If we go back, won't he die?"
Kakashi: "Next time they will send someone stronger."
"Me and Hinata stomped those two. We got this, and you're here. We can deal with this."
Hinata: "I don't feel well with leaving him."
Kakashi looked at Sasuke.
Sasuek: "Let's finish the mission."
Kakashi looked at Tazuna. "It looks like your lucky day.
But you better tell us everything you know."
