Kai is not just your average high school student, with high passing grades, a healthy lifestyle, and enough to be called "one of the gifted students" in their class, he too dreamed of a harem in another world, with magic and saving beauties was his dream.
Reading manga to pass the time was just another hobby of his.
Kai wakes up like every other day, eating, showering, and getting ready for school.
"Hey, Kai! Wassup, did you read the latest manga in the top 1? It just got updated, and sh*t is going down!"
"I haven't I slept the whole day yesterday"
"Too bad"
The bell rang, and every student sat to hear the teacher's lecture.
"Hey dude, do you remember the assignment?"
"No, why would I bother, I already finished the semester, and like I told you, I slept the whole day"
"Pfft."
His classmate laughed as the teacher heard it.
"What are you two talking about?"
"Nothing, sir."
As the classroom continued with their day, the lights started flickering.
"WHO IS PLAYING WITH THE LIGHTS!?!"
The light suddenly stopped flickering, but the ground started shaking.
The students panicked, the light grew brighter, and the shaking became stronger.
Blinded by the lights, and with an unknown environment, they could hear speaking.
A different language?
Seeing a king and a princess in this modern age? Are they making a film? People in knight's armor, a king's palace, this feels like one of those transportation from another world.
The students get up with a confused and happy look on their face, as they expect this as their new adventure is about to start, but one thing is for certain they could not understand the world's language.
As the princess started talking, the students turned confused.
"Jes wecum se wold"
We thought to ourselves that she may be speaking gibberish, but the king also started talking gibberish as it looked like they could understand each other.
Another thought that came to mind is that we are in some of movies set in another country or a branch from a different country just setting up their studio here and they needed unsuspecting actors, but that would be against the law if we did not agree right?
We argued back and forth about where we are.
"Where are we?"
"Are we in another world?"
"YES, MY DREAM HAS CAME TRUE"
We started questioning things, but the princess started to look disgusted with us and talked with one of the knights, and pointed towards somewhere.
The knight seemed a bit frightened, and looked at us pitifully, with a saddened face, he went towards one of the honor students with glasses and slashed him with a sword.
Everyone panicked and started running elsewhere, but the knights were there guarding them, and I, was too frightened to move, they started killing the one that went too far, but the ones inside the circle were getting tied up. Getting tied up with eyes and mouth covered felt like getting kidnapped, but I could still hear screaming, and their voices starting to sound muffled.
We were dragged into somewhere. Scared as I am, I thought to myself "This is just probably one of those dreams where I will wake up, there are no consequences here, right?". Begging myself to wake up, our blindfolds got removed, and we were inside a prison that looked like a dungeon with torches all around and guards at every gate, they stuck a piece of paper in our side, with my number being drawn with no curves "09" I do not know if this meant I am the 9th person to be in this prison or the cage is numbered 9, this may be a different thing, but the guard that looked like a modern doctor wrote down something in their board.
It seemed like the prison was already full, as they were dragging some old inmates and people that seemed out of the ordinary. A cripple, a blind man, and a legless corpse with his legs still bleeding out with eyes covered with a cloth full of blood.
Were they trying to make space by killing them off? What did you do to get killed? As I questioned everything that is happening inside here, with my thoughts alone, maybe I could survive a long time here.
"Hey, Kai, psst."
Someone called from the other cell with a coarse low-pitched voice.
"What do you think they are doing to us?"
It was the honor student Emily.
"I do no-"
I got cut off by a guard who smacked our cell and the fearful silence began.
I do not want to live here forever.
After some time, we got tipped off that we had to do something, they unlocked our cell.
Our classmate tried tackling one of the guards as he went out.
"YOU CANNOT STOP ME!!"
He then started to burn instantly and the guards looked afraid, instantly running away from the corridor.
Magic, perchance?
We were seated somewhere that looked like some kind of canteen you would find in schools, but they had glasses on one side of a wall, with the look of red just outside, like they were offering people, seeing as some of my classmates were being dragged, I looked at them with scared written all over my face.
"Are we going to be like that as well?!?!" my classmate panicked, but he did not dare to run away, and looked like he just accepted his fate.
The face we had, as we were scared to the guts, hoping we were not the next one to be slaughtered.
We could see them screaming, but we could not hear them. It seemed as if the inside were soundproof.
I started to back off, and looked around us, trying to find an escape, only to see disgusting food being eaten.
Do they want to make us suffer? By making us eat soup that looks like mud, especially in front of those rotting, bloodied bodies?
We wanted to fight back, but we did not want to be the next one to be butchered.
With the tying of the prisoners and poking your insides with rusty scissors, they start by shoveling your nails. Cutting their stomach with a butter knife, and skinning them with graters, these should have been already discovered by the government, so why can they still perform this? Unless it is one of those schemes by the government
As we try to get food, not knowing what they put inside of it, some just skip eating, and some try to eat just to survive and remove their hunger, we wanted to talk but none of us could utter a single word, scared by the fact that we may be the next one being slaughtered.
