Waking groggily after his evolution, Adam took a moment to collect himself, lying on the ground that was rapidly becoming unsuitable for his new size. He felt the significant changes in his body.

While he hadn't grown much in length—from 20 feet to about 30 feet—the height was what had increased the most, from a mere 3 feet to a staggering 12 feet. He realized he had to say goodbye to his ambushing days.
He needed a new source of food. Realistically speaking, if he didn't find enough sustenance by the end of the day, starvation would claim him. The only available food sources were the nearby villages and the small castle he had spotted while hunting.
With a sigh, he thought, "I guess it can't be avoided. This will be the first and last time I hunt humans. Once I reach my perfected form, I will never harm a soul again." With that resolve, Adam started walking towards the village.
Elric POV :
Elric was tending to his chores when he felt the ground tremble beneath him. Confused, he looked around, his heart racing. The tremors grew stronger, and the villagers began to murmur in fear.
"What's happening?" Elric thought, trying to suppress his rising panic.
From the treeline, he spotted it—a massive figure looming in the distance. The creature was unlike anything he had ever seen, a monstrous silhouette against the sky. Panic surged through him as he turned to run back to the village, shouting, "A beast! A monster is coming!"
As Elric sprinted, he glanced back at the creature. It stood still, watching, as if assessing the situation. Somehow, he felt it wasn't chasing him. Maybe it was just hungry, he thought. He reached the village, breathless, bursting into the square where fellow villagers were gathering, their faces pale with fear.
"There's a giant beast in the woods!" he cried, trying to catch his breath. His words were unnecessary; the villagers and guards were already on high alert.
The beast was a staggering 30 feet in length and stood 12 feet tall, its gleaming white feathers fading into blood-red tips. Its powerful legs supported a muscular body, and sharp, curved claws glinted like polished ivory. The creature's piercing crimson eyes scanned the crowd, and its slightly open snout revealed rows of sharp teeth. A long, balanced tail swayed behind it, enhancing its formidable presence.
No one knew how long the silence lasted, but Elric hoped it would continue as long as they remained still. Suddenly, the tension shattered with a scream from one of the washerwomen. The guards, paralyzed by fear, scrambled to grip their weapons, their limbs shaking uncontrollably. They wanted to run, but their legs felt heavy and frozen, rendering them incapable of either fleeing or fighting.
Roooooar! The creature unleashed a thunderous roar that sent shockwaves through the crowd. Those trying to flee collapsed to the ground; some attempted to crawl, but their legs betrayed them, completely immobilized. The ground trembled as the monster opened its massive maw and swallowed a guard whole with a sickening crunch.
Thud! Another guard, feeling the jaws of death graze past him, crumbled to his knees and began to crawl away.

Baron Orwen stood at the battlements, his gaze lost in thought. He heard the distant roar and screams, and before he could inquire further, he came out and noticed all the guards staring in one direction. As he turned to look, he understood.
From his vantage point, he could clearly see the monstrous creature devouring his lifeblood. He considered ordering his men to hunt it down for a high prize it could fetch, but one glance at their faces dispelled that thought.
No one knew how long the screams lasted—cries, roars, and then they saw them. The survivors—about two hundred—came running, regaining control of their limbs as they pounded on the castle gates.
"OPEN THE GATES!"
"HELP US!"
"PLEASE!"
Begging and crying, the people pleaded.
"Mother? MOTHER! Father!"
"Aryn, open the gates!"
"Let us in!"
Some of the guards recognized their families, and chaos erupted on the battlements as they clamored to be let inside. But the ground shook again—the monster, its white feathers soaked in blood and its maw filled with limbs, approached the gathered crowd. The baron didn't need to suppress their fears; he was not a weak-hearted man—he had fought wars.
Yet even he knew that no one was brave enough to open the gates to let that thing in. They could only bear it, and fortunately, the walls were high enough—about fifteen feet tall.
After an unknown amount of time, the cries ended, but the clanking sound intensified. The guards were terrified; they were literally staring death in the eye. The beast was 12 feet high, the walls were 15, and the creature was staring directly at them.
The beast turned and began walking back to the forest, and everyone felt the grip of death loosen—until it stopped and turned to face the castle gates. Realizing what was happening, the baron shouted, "By the gods, run into the castle!"
The ground shook again, and the monster charged, pointing its massive head at the wooden gates. Everyone began frantically running toward the castle.
BAM! The sound of closure rang out. While the gate was mostly splintered and damaged, it held strong. The only way to destroy it was to ram again two or three times. Luckily, everyone had already made it inside the castle. ROOOOOOOAR! A frustrated roar echoed, and silence descended. No one was brave enough to leave the castle, and the baron felt that if he became overbearing and commanded them now, he would be fed to the monster. Everyone was on their last nerves; they would just have to hold out for the day.
On the other hand, Adam was in ecstasy, lost in his senses. He earned more than 80,000 points by consuming a single village—ten times the amount he accumulated from hunting different animals and scavenging corpses over the last three months.
