Synopsis
What do you think is the most overpowered genre? Fantasy, with its swords and magic? Cultivation, with its immortals and heavenly tribulations? Or perhaps superhero with its diverse powers?? Wrong. It's sci-fi. Weapons that destroy entire galaxies, guns that can vaporize any living being, starships that travel faster than light, the list goes on. And I got transmigrated into a sci-fi novel that I had read. Clawed my way to the top and became the emperor. I had conquered the entire universe and had nothing left to do. Until one day... "Sir, we have found a way to travel to an alternate dimension." More land appeared to be conquered.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

What is the most overpowered genre?

Some might say fantasy, with its dragons, swords, and magic.

Others argue cultivation, with immortals and divine powers.

Or maybe even superheroes, with their reality-bending abilities.

Or maybe Cyberpunk, Wuxia, Myths...!

But seriously? They're all wrong.

I was deep in an online argument, debating some clueless guy who had no idea what he was talking about.

"Bro, you're saying a dragon could take on a sci-fi weapon? That thing would get vaporized in an instant."

I slammed my fingers on the keyboard, sending my response flying.

"Have you ever heard of the Galactic Annihilator Cannon? One shot and that dragon is dust. No more talking, just gone."

I read his reply and couldn't help but scoff.

"But magic could deflect that, right?"

Seriously, how stupid can you be?

Magic? Against this?

"Dude, a Graviton Beam can slice through a dragon's scales like they're paper. You think a fire-breathing lizard stands a chance against military-grade energy shields?"

I shook my head. The guy clearly didn't get it.

"Look, sci-fi is the genre. We've got weapons that can destroy whole planets, ships that rip through space at faster-than-light speeds, and androids that could wipe out armies. Dragons? Please. They're just oversized lizards."

I hit send and leaned back in my chair, satisfied.

There. That should end the discussion.

I dropped onto my bed ready to go to sleep.

FLASH

Only if I hadn't been transmigrated just like this.

"What the fuck?!"

Only a few days later did I realize that I had entered a novel I had read, [Galaxy Conquest].

This novel takes place in a world where galactic wars were a everyday thing. Thankfully, I knew the webnovel very well, probably because I read it a thousand times, so I was pretty confident.

"Let's do this! My new life in a SF world!! Lets Gooooooooo!!! Galaxy conquest!!!"

However, my idiotic thoughts were soon gone.

In a world were planets and suns got vaporized on a daily basis, I was just a orphan that had no place I could truly call home.

Forget galactic domination, I had to worry about my own survival first.

However hard I tried, the planet I was on could explode into pieces by a random battle.

That fear, of dying like an ant getting stepped on, no matter how hard I tried and worked was unlike anything I had experienced.

I had to change my plans. I was going to join the Galaxy Academy and climb my ranks there, but I didn't want to risk getting killed in the hundreds of battles that would happen there.

Instead, I stole the greatest AI module of the series, Alpha, from a hidden lab that would only later be found in the story.

And I went to the main and sub-characters of the original novel. With the help of Alpha, I managed to create situations which they would be in a life or death situation and save them.

[Wh...who are you?]

[Why... why are you saving me..?]

[You'll become my friend??]

[I plead my loyalty to you.]

Geniuses of the galaxy.

Seriously, a genius of a planet is very hefty title, but a genius of a galaxy..?

They've got to be on another level.

I went around the universe, collecting all the talented and gifted characters that I had saw in the novel.

Ariel, the swordmaster, Raven, the villain of the first arc of the story, Bermia, the genius tactical commander. I even got the main character and the final boss of the novel on my side.

But I didn't stop. I kept expanding my influence, kept collecting my allies, used my knowledge of the future to my advantage.

And finally I took down the greatest power of the universe.

I took down the Empire and rose up to be the greatest power in existence.

The Emperor of the entire universe.

I had done it. I had got the entire universe in my grasp. But....

What now...?

What is the reason for my existence..?

Up until now, my goal was to take over the universe and now that I had accomplished that goal, I had no idea what to do next.

I felt empty and life felt meaningless.

I hadn't realized it because I was too busy, but I had grown a liking to expanding my territory and influence.

It was my hobby, the one thing I enjoyed.

But now there was nowhere to expand to.

Or so I thought...
