Chapter 1 - Prologue

I stood at the edge of the beach, staring out at the horizon. The calm waves of the sea were disrupted by the sight of hundreds of massive military ships heading straight for us. Their dark, imposing forms cut through the water with an intimidating presence.

A voice interrupted the tension. "So, Japan has completed Round 20 as well."

I turned to see a girl beside me, who could be described as nothing but stunning. Her golden hair flowed like liquid sunshine, cascading past her shoulders. Her eyes were a fierce, glowing red, and her features were strikingly beautiful, commanding immediate attention. She wore a sleek, dark outfit and wielded a scythe—black and red, longer than she was tall—resting effortlessly in her grip.

"Yeah," I said, my voice calm despite the situation. "And they're coming in full force."

The girl's eyes narrowed as she looked out at the fleet. "It's been a while since we've had such a large-scale enemy. Do you think we'll beat them?"

I glanced behind me at the crowd. Thousands of soldiers stood ready, armed with swords, bows, hammers, and spears, all focused on the approaching threat.

"I'd better hope so. We need to be ready for anything."

I turned around to face the crowd, their eyes fixed on me with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. They waited for my command, their expressions reflecting their determination and readiness.

Raising my arms, I summoned hundreds of dark orbs from thin air. They materialized around me, each one glowing with a dark, ominous energy.

"This is our first contact with another country," I declared, my voice cutting through the noise. "Be prepared. This could turn into a bloodbath!"

With a commanding gesture, I sent the orbs into action, their dark forms swirling and crackling with energy. The crowd erupted into cheers, their enthusiasm igniting the air.

"Long live the Shadow Ravens!" I shouted, lifting my arms high.

"Long live the King!" the soldiers roared in unison. "Victory to the Shadow Ravens!" "For the glory of the realm!" "To battle and triumph!" "Strength and honor!" "For our future!"

Their cheers resonated through the air, a powerful wave of support and anticipation. I turned back to face the approaching fleet, my focus sharp and unwavering.

Finally, I would get to meet him.

The real main character of this world.

As the ships drew nearer, I prepared for the clash that would define our fate.
