Chapter 117 - Chapter 116: The Stormwing Pterosaur!

Beside the fallen Allosaurus, a web line was anchored to the ground.

Peter gripped the web with his left hand, yanking himself downward with force. As he descended, he clenched his fist and delivered a powerful punch straight to the Allosaurus's head.

Thud!

Aargh!

The creature barely had time to react before it let out a short, agonized wail and collapsed, its fate uncertain.

"ROAR!"

On the other side, the Allosaurus pack leader struggled to its feet.

It shook its head, trying to recover, then opened its massive jaws and charged at Peter.

Peter spun around and delivered a brutal kick.

With a force of several dozen tons, his strike smashed into the Allosaurus leader's face, sending it staggering backward.

But these prehistoric beasts had one key advantage—incredibly thick hides and insane durability.

Had it been a human or any ordinary animal, Peter's punch would have obliterated them.

Yet, the Allosaurus leader merely hit the ground, entering a state of temporary dizziness.

Seizing the opportunity, Peter fired off dozens of web lines, firmly pinning the creature's head to the ground.

ROAR!

Another Allosaurus charged straight at him.

Then, Peter did something shocking.

Instead of dodging, he turned his back slightly, crossed his arms in front of him, and braced for impact.

He took the full brunt of the charge!

But—he didn't even budge.

The spider patterns on his Nano Vibranium Spider-Suit suddenly lit up with energy!

Peter took a slight step back, clenched his fist, and swung at the confused Allosaurus, which was still trying to figure out why it hadn't sent him flying.

BOOM!

His punch, amplified by his raw strength and the kinetic energy absorbed by the Vibranium suit, launched the Allosaurus into the air!

Its head snapped sideways, its entire body flipping as it skidded across the ground for dozens of meters before finally coming to a halt.

With his Spider-Sense foresight and Vibranium suit's unparalleled defense, Peter effortlessly took down all five Allosaurs.

Two were killed on the spot, while the remaining three were left battered and wounded.

As for what happened to them next, that wasn't his concern.

Though, considering how rare these prehistoric creatures were, the British authorities would likely capture them for research—or worse, hand them over to some shady bio-lab.

As Peter was mulling over this thought—

ROAAARRR—

Suddenly, the three Allosaurs he had webbed to the ground screamed in agony.

Their bodies began to glow with a kaleidoscope of colors!

"Wait... No way—are these things from a parallel universe too?!"

Peter's eyes widened. This scene was all too familiar to him.

So it wasn't just this universe experiencing anomalies—the chaos from another universe was bleeding into this one!

When the quantum collapse phenomenon finally faded—

The surviving dinosaurs were still intact.

But the two that had already died?

Their corpses had been completely crushed by the collapse.

And by "crushed," it meant they were obliterated into microscopic fragments.

Not even dust remained.

Most likely, their bodies had been compressed into a subatomic quantum state, vanishing from existence entirely.

"B-Boss!"

A sharp cry came from above.

The Papyrus Vulture swooped down from the sky, landing on a bridge railing near Peter.

Staring at the two Allosaurus corpses that had just been erased by the quantum collapse, his already grim face turned even darker.

Perhaps... it was the sorrow of witnessing one's own kind suffer a terrible fate.

This scene made him deeply realize just how serious the issues with his body had become.

At the same time, it also made him understand what would happen if he lost the energy that Peter provided him!

Peter gave a slight nod.

Spider-Man was great in every way—strong, agile, and highly responsive—practically the top-tier fighter in the battle arena.

But once Peter donned his nano-vibranium suit, he was like an assassin wrapped in the thickest armor.

However, Spider-Man had one glaring weakness.

He couldn't fly.

When facing airborne enemies, he often found himself at a disadvantage.

So, the moment he saw the Quetzalcoatlus approaching, he sent a message to the Vulture, asking him to come.

"We're leaving," Peter said, looking toward the direction where the Quetzalcoatlus was flying in from.

Based on its speed, it should have arrived long ago.

But something had intercepted it on its way here, delaying its arrival even after Peter had already dealt with the five Atrociraptors.

As for what had intercepted it… a quick glance at the sky revealed no aircraft, making it obvious who the culprits were.

It was either Gwen, Garfield-Spidey, or both of them together.

After all, they attended the same school.

The Vulture immediately took flight.

Peter leaped into the air, landing right beside him and grabbing onto his hand.

With a powerful flap of his wings, the Vulture carried them away from the battlefield.

Behind them, George Stacy stood frozen, watching the scene unfold.

Everything he had witnessed in this battle had left him utterly shocked, even challenging his perception of reality.

A human, roughly the same size as him, had used his bare fists to take down several dinosaurs over ten meters tall.

And he had even killed two of them on the spot!

Was this what a superpowered individual was capable of?

If people with such abilities ever went rogue, how would they even be stopped?

Peter was unaware of George Stacy's thoughts. He had already arrived near the Quetzalcoatlus.

As soon as he got there, he saw the situation clearly.

Sure enough, Gwen and Garfield-Spidey were the ones engaging the massive creature.

Gwen, with her agile movements, swung around the Quetzalcoatlus using her webs, constantly evading its attacks. The creature had no way of dealing with her and could only flap its wings to generate powerful gusts in an attempt to keep her at bay.

In contrast, Garfield-Spidey was far less experienced.

He hadn't been Spider-Man for long, had little combat experience, and mostly relied on his Spider-Sense for instinctive reactions.

Executing an effective offensive strategy was still beyond his capabilities.

That said, he wasn't entirely useless.

He had managed to rescue several people who hadn't escaped in time.

While doing so, he also shot webs at the Quetzalcoatlus's head and wings from different angles, disrupting its movements and providing some much-needed support for Gwen.

Screech!

Annoyed by the two "pesky insects" attacking it, the Quetzalcoatlus let out a sharp cry.

Just as Gwen was about to leap onto its back and strike its head, the creature suddenly accelerated and crashed directly into a nearby building.

Gwen quickly dodged backward, but with nothing to latch onto in midair, she was about to fall!

"Throw me over there!"

"Got it, boss!"

With a powerful swing, the Vulture launched Peter toward Gwen at high speed.
