I wasn't able to react immediately because of her sudden outburst—and freezes as I heard those words. There's too many questions that's running through my mind right now.

My feet stumbled backward as the edge of the rooftop came closer. A scream formed in my throat, but it was swallowed by the chaos of emotions that overwhelmed me. As the little girl at the age of 8 opened her eyes—again, she immediately wondered where she was when she saw the unfamiliar place while laying on her bed. A place with shining silver decorations on the walls, white furniture—vases and candles, and two beds.

She gently sat on her bed and patted her side gently before blinking twice. She tried to pinch herself but she was stunned to see her hands—small and chubby hands.

She tossed her blankets away to see if it's not just her hands that shrinked. There she saw her tiny legs and a bandage on her right knee.

Where…am I?

She thought and realizes that maybe she's woken up in someone else's body or reincarnated. If it's a dream, it's too realistic for her to feel the pain on her knee.

Before she could process it fully, she heard voices from outside and opened the door.

"You're awake." A woman with blonde hair and blue eyes said, she's also wearing white clothing that is mostly likely used by people who work at church or any religion.

She rushed to the girl's side and sat across from her, looking at her knees and bruises. She gently pressed her warm hands on her forehead to check her temperature.

"How are you, dear? Is your body still aching?" She asked with an anxious expression, the girl looked at her and shook her head.

This lady looks so familiar.

She thought and tried to think hard when or where did she saw the lady.

"Aryen, dear?" That name… "Are you okay?" She looked up to the lady and nodded.

"Y-Yes…"

That name is also familiar to her, she heard that name before. She just doesn't remember where, but she knows it's from her past life.

"You should eat your breakfast," she added, "Do you want me to help you change?" She asked again, the little girl shook her head again.

For her, it is the best idea to think alone for now, she'll figure out everything with just herself before meeting someone she doesn't know or remember.

"I'm fine, I'll be there in 15 minutes." She said calmly, and smiled at the lady. The lady only smiled back at her before responding to Aryen.

"Sure…" the lady said before kissing Aryen's forehead and leaving her in the room alone again.

After making sure that the lady already left, she gently stood up from her bed and slowly climbed to the wooden chair so she wouldn't hurt herself, and then she grabbed the small mirror to confirm her suspicions.

The moment she saw her reflection one thing came to her mind—I'm doomed!
