I wanted to share a quick update: this story will be temporarily paused and will resume on April 1st (nope, this isn't an April Fool's joke!).

Here are a few reasons why I've decided to take this pause, especially since I'm planning to submit it for the WSA 2025 entry:

1. WSA 2025 Focus. To ensure this story is at its absolute best, I want to dedicate fresh energy to it starting in April. This gives me time to align my mindset for writing romcoms and ensure I'm in top creative shape.

2. Overloaded Schedule. Right now, my focus is on fantasy, adventure, and action genres. My brain isn't in "romance mode" at the moment...it went completely haywire the other day. :( Rather than force it, I think it's better to take a step back and let the inspiration flow naturally later.

3. Planning Completed. The chapters and outlines are already researched and prepared. By pausing now, I can give this novel my undivided attention when the time is right, ensuring better pacing and quality.

4. Not Contracted Yet. Since this novel isn't under contract, there's no immediate pressure. I'll only focus on it when I feel confident the timing and pacing are right—and that my headspace matches the genre's vibe. Thus giving the estimated time by April.
