Nico Robin, now commonly known as Ms. All-Sunday, walked down the hallway of a deserted building. It was one of many in the city of Rainbase that Crocodile owned, despite the fact that he never had any real use for them.
Robin was thankful for that fact, as the business she had there was something she preferred for him not to know about.
The tall and lithe, yet lusciously curvy, woman stalked the corridor with a confident stride, led by laced white boots that went up to her knees.
Her tanned form was wrapped in a deliciously short purple skirt with light blue belt and an equally revealing purple top that laced together in the front, held open just far enough to display a tantalizing view of her cleavage for anyone who dared to look, even with the intimidating effect of both her position and reputation.
Having left her usual white cowgirl hat at the entrance to the building, her shimmering black hair was free to cascade down to her shoulders.
Once Robin found and entered the room she wanted, she allowed herself a small grin at the sight before her. The room was empty, save for a single examination table, which a young woman was strapped to.
The girl's violet eyes glanced about alertly, her face clearly focused both on inspecting her surroundings and keeping from breaking into a panic.
Robin relaxed her tendency to use her noiseless assassin's gait with her next step, allowing her boot to scuff against the floor, the small sound just enough to catch the attention of her guest.
The woman responded immediately, turning as quickly as her bound wrists and ankles would allow; the girl's face swam with emotions as she discovered the identity of her captor: shock, apprehension, fear, and any number of others.
However, she recovered quickly, and fixed Robin with a hard look that seemed both out of place and oddly fitting on her soft, youthful face.
"Ms. All-Sunday? What is the meaning of this?" Robin merely grinned at the display.
"Oh, I think you know, Ms. Wednesday. You've been shadowing me for days now, along with Mr. 8, trying to find out something you have no business knowing. That's why I sent the Mr. 8 team on that mission yesterday, so you'd have to either give up or try it alone. You should have known that it wasn't a good idea to spy on me on your own, but I knew you were just too stubborn to let that stop you, Princess Vivi."
Robin had to give the girl credit; she was almost successful in hiding the shock of her infiltration being uncovered.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Oh, come now, Baroque Works was organized specifically to bring an end to the kingdom of Arabasta; do you think I wouldn't recognize their beloved princess or the Captain of their Royal Guard? You're just lucky that Crocodile leaves keeping track of our agents to me, otherwise he'd be the one with you at his mercy." That time, Vivi didn't even bother to hide her reaction.
"Crocodile? The Warlord? He's behind all of this?"
"Yes. That's what you wanted to know, wasn't it? It would have been just cruel to let you go through all of this trouble for nothing, after all." Robin wasn't entirely sure why she had decided to outright tell Vivi the true identity of the leader of Baroque Works, but she was actually glad that she did.
The way that the Princess squirmed as her situation became more and more out of her control made her feel a playfulness she hadn't had since, well, ever, to be honest.
"Why did you tell me that? Do you just like making this worse by telling me exactly what I need to know before you kill me?"
Robin smirked; she had already decided that she was eventually going to let Vivi go mostly unharmed, but that, of course, presented the problem of the princess being all too likely to try and get in the way of Crocodile's plan, and by extension, her own.
Robin filed away the thought in her mind to consider later; she'd come up with a solution to that soon enough.
"No, I'm going to let you go. Well, eventually." More squirming from the younger woman as confusion spread across her features.
"So, why do you have me here? What do you want with me?" That one made Robin stop in thought for a few moments, knowing all too well that she didn't really know what she wanted from Vivi.
It was something about the princess and her attempt to disrupt Robin and Crocodile's plan that gave her an impulse to do all this, but she had to admit to herself she really didn't have anything planned out. Oh well, Robin decided, she might as well see what she can get from this situation.
