"Felix, are you insane? What the hell are you trying to say in front of Alex?" the man who came said, pulling Felix away from Alexandria and glaring at him. "Man, what's wrong with you? Do you think you can take back the words you're trying to say once you blurted it out?"
"J-Jayden? I-It's not... I-I..."
Before Felix could utter another word, he got startled when Alexandria walked out of the room with those tears in eyes, leaving him and their common long time best friend Jayden Lowe inside.
He couldn't stop Alexandria from leaving or reason out. He just followed her through gaze until he couldn't see her anymore.
A huge heavy sighed came out of his mouth as he facepalmed himself in frustration—turning around before holding on tightly to the backrest of the chair.
As Felix remembered those words he said to Alexandria, he couldn't help but vehemently shuffled his hair, grunting whilst shoving those plates and papers on the table and kicking whatever on sight to relieve his madness. Pain didn't bother him anymore, but the building frustration and anger inside him continuous to engulf his entire system.
"F*ck. D*mn it."
"Hey, stop it. What are you doing?" Jayden said. "Do you want to hurt yourself so bad?"
"D*mn. Can't you stop meddling with our business? What are you even doing here?" Felix said, shouting at him that made Jayden scowled.
"I heard the news and went to confirm it by coming here, yet... This is the scene that welcomed me. When are you going to grow up, Felix? You want me to stop meddling with the two of you, but you're the one who always makes me worried on what about to happened." Jayden stated. "Man, if it wasn't because of me, you and Alex might not have made it here. Oh! Right. I should stop when I noticed how self-centered you are. Look what happened now. Who's the one suffering and hurting because of your selfishness? It's Alexandria and not you. And what the hell are you trying to say before I came in? You regret what again?"
Instead of answering him, Felix gaze away whilst clenching both fists. "Fine. I was wrong. Are you happy? It's always me that's wrong here. You're also my friend but you always siding to her no matter who's right or wrong. Why don't you go after her?"
"Felix."
"Tsk. Don't come see me if you're trying to blame everything to me. I might forget that you're one of my friend."
Felix kicked the chair before storming out of the room with those scowled faces, leaving Jayden speechless.
"Argh. That annoying lad," Jayden mumbled to himself as he glanced at all the mess he made in the dining room. "You don't even have any considerations to those people cleaning your mess."
"Mr. Jayden, you're here?"
Jayden looked behind when he heard a voice and saw Harlan with those surprised gazes before glancing at the messed that Felix made.
"I'm sorry that you need to encounter all of this. You came at a wrong time. I'll call the maids to clean this area."
"Where's Alex? Did you see her?"
"I saw her went inside her car and drove away. It's too late when I tried to stop her."
"She drove in that condition?" Jayden asked. "Argh. Harlan, tell me what am I going to do with those two? At this rate, they might as well filed a divorced than forced themselves to live together."
"I'm thinking the same thing as you, but I doubt those two would want it, especially Mr. Felix."
"That d*mn selfish man. Tsk. Anyway, call me if Alex came back. Tell her to call me no matter it's late or not."
"I'll tell her about it."

As the time passed by so fast, Felix, who just came home not an hour ago from work, headed straight to the home bar that you can only find in the west wing of his residence. It's a customized built it mini bar that his second wife, Amber, requested when they renovated the area after their wedding.
He rarely visited the place unless he's frustrated and wanted to drink in silence. It's like his personal space, especially when he fought with one of his wife.
Whilst in the middle of pouring some whiskey on his glass, he heard footsteps coming towards him. It didn't even take a second when someone sat beside him — a single bar stool apart. He looked beside and saw Amber, wearing his navy blue silk nightdress. She took the whiskey bottle from him and continue to pour his glass a certain amount before getting another glass for her.
"I heard you stopped by here without telling me." Amber said without looking at him. "You didn't come here for me, am I right?"
"Maybe,"
"I heard about the news that you ended your partnership with Mr. Cowell. You must be having a hard time."
Instead of saying a word, Felix just chuckled and drink the whiskey in one gulp.
Whilst Amber, on the other side, glanced at him before pouring another whiskey onto his glass. He was about to gulp it down again, but she stopped him and looked straight into his eyes.
"Did you fight with Alexandria?" She asked, making Felix flinched and looked away. "I see. You never changed a bit, huh?"
"What do you mean?"
"You have this weird habit of coming to me whenever the two of you fought. It upsets me. However, if that will make you come to me, I can't say anything, right?" Amber said, chuckling. "At this rate, I must thank her for making you mad."
Felix glared at her that made Amber let out an awkward laughed and gazed away. "I-I'm just kidding, don't look at me like that, you're scary."
"Why are you here? I didn't call you, and where's Jeanne?"
"She's already asleep, and I came by because I thought you need a drinking companion."
A long, deafening silence engulfed the entire room. Neither he nor Amber strike up another conversation and just sensing the atmosphere between them.
Not until Amber couldn't take it anymore and broke the silence by her unexpected question.
"It seems like the two of you fought a lot this year than the past." Amber stated whilst swirling the glass with whiskey. "This might be rude, but I'm just really curious. Does filing a divorce didn't cross your mind yet?"
Felix stared at his glass for a few seconds with those distant gazes instead of answering her question.
The word 'divorce' kept echoing inside his mind that he unconsciously held on tightly to the glass before gulping down the whiskey and slammed it back on the table.
He let out a brief awkward laughed and poured another whiskey on his glass.
"Why would I divorce my wife?" Felix asked without glancing at her. "It seems like Harris and Harlan were thinking the same question as you. Even those people around us thought we're going to divorce soon. I wonder why you think so?"
"Do you really not notice it?"
"What? Do I need to notice anything?"
"The two of you kept acting like one of you would file a divorce." She said. "You often fight more than in the past and it seems like you're treating each other as somewhat a business partner than a husband and wife. I don't even feel like she's a threat as my rival."
Felix chortled. "We've known each other since we were child and have been in a relationship for almost two decades. It's more than half of our lives. Do you think I had the guts to throw her away? Divorce? It's the last thing I would do. No, I would not allow it to happen, even if she beg me for it."
Upon hearing his straightforward statement, Amber couldn't help but to tighten her hold on the glass as she let out a forced laughed. She glanced to her side to see his reaction, yet Felix didn't show any lies in those eyes.
"You're really something, Felix." Amber uttered as she gulped down the whiskey. "I'm sure you didn't notice it either, the way your words keep siding with your first wife, yet your action focused on the third one. Aren't you cruel to me? I'm like a middle person, giving you advice if you don't know what to do with either of them."
"What the hell are you saying?"
"I'm not trying to say anything, just stating whatever I observed throughout this year." said Amber, pouring out another whiskey on their glass. "Anyway, since we've been tackling about your first wife, may I ask when was the last time the two of you slept?"
Felix glanced at her. "Why do you ask?"
"Hmm... Well, you don't have any idea what happened that day, right? Alexandria might not tell you the entire truth."
"D*mn it. Why the hell are each one of you keep talking puzzles to me? Can't you just tell me what the f*ck happened at that event?"
"Do you think the center of that scene was only me and her?" Amber asked, chuckling. "The two of us had a bit of similarities. We don't want to gain people's attentions for ourselves or ruined your reputation despite the amount of hate we had on each other, but that day, Alex took all the humiliations the most and snapped. Why is it, though?"
"Amber..."
"Oh, right! It's your third wife, Felix. Sabrina was also present at that event. Mr. Cowell invited her without us knowing it. Do you imagine the chaos that might have brought it, especially to your first wife?"
"W-what did you say again?"
