Chapter 83 - Sorry We're Busy.

Mr. Woo Jinchul and Guild Master Choi Jong-In walked side by side, their conversation focused on the recent Red Gate incident.

"The fact that it was cleared at all is shocking enough," Choi muttered. "But to leave zero traces of the fight? It's like the monsters were just erased."

Woo nodded. "There were reports of two unknown Hunters inside."

Choi exhaled. "Two… right. Any leads?"

Woo shook his head. "No identities confirmed yet."

As they entered the Association building, all conversations suddenly ceased.

Choi frowned. "What's going on?"

Then—

He saw them.

Two figures walked through the halls with an undeniable presence.

Sung Jinwoo and Po.

The atmosphere shifted. Auras flared—raw, overwhelming, refined.

A wave of instinctual awe and fear washed over the Hunters present.

Choi's eyes widened. "Wait… the mysterious Hunters…"

Realizing the significance of this moment, he strode forward, introducing himself as Choi Jong-in, the master of the Hunters Guild.

But Jinwoo and Po?

They walked past him.

No hesitation. No pause.

Perfectly synchronized.

As they left the Association, they simply said—

"Sorry, we're busy."

The sheer perfection of their aura farming left the hallway dead silent even after they had vanished.

Moments later—

Baek Yoonho burst into the building, panting.

His sharp eyes scanned the area, searching for two people in particular.

"…Where are they?"

The Hunters present looked at each other.

One finally muttered, "They just left."

Baek's expression twitched.

"Goddammit."

The room was quiet, save for the rhythmic beeping of the monitors.

Jinwoo sat beside the bed, watching his mother.

She looked peaceful. Too peaceful.

Po sat beside him, arms crossed. "You'll save her."

Jinwoo didn't respond, but Po knew he heard him.

The door creaked open.

Woo Jinchul entered, hands in his pockets. "Sung Jinwoo. Po. There's someone who wants to speak to you."

Jinwoo's eyes flicked toward him.

Po raised a brow. "Who?"

Woo simply replied—

"Chairman Go Gunhee."

The office was spacious, yet the atmosphere was oddly intimate.

Jinwoo and Po sat across from Chairman Go Gunhee, the strongest Hunter in Korea.

The conversation started with small talk—light, almost meaningless.

But then—

Gunhee got to the real point.

"The reason behind the re-evaluation," he said, leaning forward, "it served as a sort of Grace Period."

Jinwoo remained still. Po listened, arms crossed.

"Despite being a large and official organization," Gunhee continued, "who would want to join the Hunters Association when Guilds promise fortune and fame?"

He gestured to Woo Jinchul.

"Tell me, how many people can name Woo Jinchul as an elite A-Ranked Hunter?"

Jinwoo and Po didn't answer.

Gunhee leaned back. "We can't offer money like the Guilds. But we can offer something better."

Jinwoo tilted his head. "Which is?"

Gunhee's lips curled into a smile. "Power. Political influence."

A long silence followed.

Jinwoo glanced at Po.

Po glanced at Jinwoo.

Then, they both answered at the same time.

"Not interested."

Gunhee blinked. "You're rejecting it just like that?"

Po grinned. "We're not politicians."

Jinwoo's gaze sharpened. "We don't want power over people. We want to fight. That's all."

Gunhee studied them for a moment.

Then—he chuckled. "I see."

As they stood to leave, Po paused.

With a smirk, he raised a hand and focused his Chi.

Gunhee frowned. "What are you—"

A sudden warmth spread through his body.

His veins pulsed. His muscles tightened.

A powerful surge of life coursed through him.

Jinchul's eyes widened as he watched the impossible happen.

Go Gunhee—aging, weary, the strongest old man in Korea—was de-aging.

In mere moments, his body returned to its prime.

His back straightened. His hands flexed with newfound strength.

Gunhee slowly clenched his fist.

"…Incredible."

A deep, thrilled laughter rumbled from his chest.

He was young again.

Gunhee turned to Jinchul and grinned. "Looks like we'll be training all night."

Jinchul grinned back.

Finally—finally—he could push himself without limits.

The night would be long.

And for the first time in years—

Gunhee felt alive.
