The morning sun was breaking through the curtains when the faint aroma of coffee and strawberry oats wafted through the air. Madhav carried a tray into the bedroom, smiling at the sight of Isha still tangled in the covers. Gently placing the tray on the side table, he leaned in and kissed her cheek.
"Good morning, Isha, wake up, baby. Breakfast is ready," he said, brushing her hair from her face.
Still half-asleep, Isha mumbled, "What are you doing? Let me sleep, Madhav."
Madhav smirked. "No, baby. It's morning. If you don't get up, I'll keep teasing you."
Grumbling, Isha turned toward him, eyes half-open. "You don't even let me sleep," she said, pulling the blanket over her head.
Laughing, Madhav replied, "Come on, lazy. Brush your teeth first, then you can eat."
With a playful glare, Isha got up and disappeared into the bathroom. They shared a peaceful breakfast together before heading to the living room. As Madhav cleared the plates, Isha hugged him from behind.
"Thank you, baby. You're the best for making breakfast," she whispered.
Turning to her, Madhav kissed her forehead. "And you're the best thing in my life, Isha."
Their peaceful morning was interrupted by a message from Chief Alex, summoning them to investigate a string of mysterious deaths. As ASNC agents, they were tasked with uncovering the truth behind reports of victims drained of blood.
Hours of patrolling yielded nothing until they heard a commotion inside an abandoned house. Inside, they found bodies strewn across the floor in a pool of blood. A young girl sobbed in the corner while a sinister figure loomed over her, laughing.
"Hands up!" Isha shouted, aiming her gun.
The figure merely smirked. Madhav charged with his sword, but the attacker was faster than anyone they had encountered. Within moments, both agents were thrown across the room. By the time they regained their footing, the figure had vanished, leaving behind the lifeless body of the girl.
"We've never faced anything like this," Madhav said as they reported back to headquarters.
"That wasn't human," Isha replied grimly.
Returning home, they felt an unsettling presence. Before they could react, the same vampire from the crime scene attacked. Madhav fought valiantly, managing to pin the vampire just as ASNC reinforcements arrived. But not before the vampire sank his teeth into Madhav's neck.
Back at headquarters, Madhav underwent tests. The results were devastating: the vampire's bite was turning him. "Madhav, you're transforming into one of them," Chief Alex said. "We have two options: containment or…"
"No!" Isha interrupted. "There has to be another way."
Madhav, though silent, was resolute. That night, they escaped ASNC's watchful eyes, seeking refuge in the shipyard. But the transformation was relentless. Madhav's cravings grew uncontrollable. One night, consumed by bloodlust, he bit Isha. She collapsed in his arms.
"Isha, I'm so sorry," Madhav wept, his voice breaking.
Through her pain, Isha smiled weakly. "I know you didn't mean it. No matter what, we're in this together."
Over the next few months, they sought ways to control Madhav's newfound vampiric powers. With the help of a witch, they obtained a daylight ring, allowing him to walk under the sun. Despite the odds, their love deepened.
One starlit night, Madhav knelt on the roof of their home, holding a ring. "Isha, will you marry me? Will you stay with me forever?"
Tears welled in her eyes as she nodded. "Yes, Madhav. Always and forever."
Their wedding day was a blend of joy and apprehension. Isha, radiant in her white dress, walked toward Madhav, who stood beaming at the altar. "You look beautiful," he whispered.
"And you look perfect," she replied, reaching for his hand.
Before they could exchange vows, chaos erupted. Chief Alex and his team stormed the ceremony.
"You two have caused enough damage," Alex growled. "You're endangering everything we've worked for."
Madhav shielded Isha, drawing his sword. But Alex was faster. In a flash, he plunged a blade into Madhav's chest.
"No!" Isha screamed, rushing to Madhav as he fell. Grief-stricken, she grabbed her own weapon, but Alex struck her down as well.
As she lay beside Madhav, blood pooling around them, she reached out to touch his hand. "Madhav… I'll see you on the other side."
Madhav's lips parted, his voice a mere whisper. "Always and forever, Isha."
Chief Alex ordered their bodies to be thrown into the lake. That night, as their forms sank beneath the water's surface, the stars above dimmed as if mourning their loss.
But legends say love as powerful as theirs never truly dies. Some nights, under the full moon, two figures can be seen dancing on the lake, bound forever by a love that defied life and death.
