Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: King Blake’s Awakening and the Vanishing of the Chosen Ones

Blake's consciousness shifted abruptly. One moment, he was in a world that made sense to him, and the next, he was in an unfamiliar realm. His body was foreign, his mind disoriented, but as he took in his new surroundings, a heavy realization dawned upon him: he was no longer himself.

He wasn't the man he had been—no longer the citizen of the world he knew. Now, he stood as King Blake, a monarch in a foreign land, a ruler of a kingdom he barely understood. His body—his very essence—had been transformed. He could feel the crown atop his head, heavy with the responsibility of leadership, yet his mind was clouded by the confusion of how he had come to occupy this body, and what fate had caused it.

He wasn't the only one affected by the mysterious event. His kingdom, like all other nations, had been plunged into chaos. He could sense it: a strange, invisible force had swept across the entire planet, causing great barriers—massive walls of energy—to rise out of the ground, severing the world into isolated fragments.

The familiar communication systems that once linked the nations together had gone dark. The world's governments were cut off from one another, unable to speak, trade, or share knowledge across borders. The world had been plunged into a state of disconnection.

The Mass Return of Citizens:

The world had been thrown into confusion, but it wasn't just the leaders who were impacted. Suddenly, millions of citizens—across all nations—found themselves inexplicably teleported back to their homelands, as if plucked from wherever they had been. The citizens were bewildered, scattered across their cities, towns, and villages. There was no explanation, no message to guide them. The only certainty was that they were back in the lands of their birth.

These citizens, though they had been scattered and isolated for reasons unknown, now found themselves uncertain and disoriented. The teleportation circles—structures previously unknown to the world—began appearing all over the planet, glowing faintly with otherworldly energy.

Blake watched as these strange, new teleportation circles took form within his kingdom. They had never existed before. No one had ever seen such phenomena. These newly emerged circles were completely unlike anything the world's scientists, governments, or engineers had ever created. It was clear that these circles were not of human design—something else had created them, something powerful. But they were inactive, standing still in the open landscape, waiting for activation, and it was clear that only the leaders of each nation could determine their purpose.

The Vanishing of the Chosen Ones:

At the same time as the barriers rose and the teleportation circles appeared, three individuals from each nation mysteriously vanished in radiant flashes of light. They weren't just ordinary people. They were individuals marked for a purpose that no one understood—the chosen ones. The first moment their disappearance occurred, the world's leaders felt it: a strange absence, a hole in reality where once these individuals had stood.

In each nation, the leaders could feel the absence of these individuals—three per country—as if their very souls had been plucked from existence. The world felt different now. It was as if the vanishing of the chosen ones had altered something fundamental about the fabric of reality itself. The disappearance left leaders like Blake in a state of uneasy reflection.

But there was no explanation for this. No message from any higher power. The world's leaders could only sense that the individuals were gone, but why? For what purpose? No answers came. No guidance. No System. It was as if the world had been cast adrift, with only the rulers left to try to make sense of the chaos.

The Leaders' Awakening:

King Blake, standing in his throne room, could feel it. A strange, foreign awareness flooded his mind. He could see, feel, and even smell the world from three distinct perspectives, all tied to the three missing individuals from his own kingdom. He didn't know these people—didn't recognize them—but he could feel their presence in a way that made him uncomfortably aware of their absence.

Blake could sense that this new power wasn't limited to just him. Every leader across the world was experiencing the same phenomenon. They could see the world through the eyes of those who had vanished, though they had never met them. It was as though they had been linked to the souls of the chosen ones.

This strange connection was unsettling. How was this possible? Why had it happened? But there was no one to answer these questions. No higher power appeared to offer any explanations.

As the leader of his kingdom, Blake felt an enormous weight of responsibility. He was no longer just a ruler of a land—he was now in control of his people, who had also been mysteriously teleported back to their homeland. His kingdom, like all the others, was now isolated, separated by impenetrable barriers. The world had shifted, and it was his duty to navigate through this new reality.

The teleportation circles, once formed in this new world, were still dormant—waiting for some kind of activation. Blake knew that it was within his control to activate them, but he did not know how. And more importantly, he had no idea what would happen once they were activated.

The Chosen Ones:

While the world leaders struggled to make sense of their newfound authority, the three chosen ones—those who had vanished—found themselves in a strange new world.

Liam, a 21-year-old Special Ops rookie, had just begun his journey in the real world before the shift. Confused and frightened by his sudden relocation to this unfamiliar world, he knew he had no choice but to survive. A new mission had begun, and Liam would need every ounce of his training to adapt to the unknown dangers of this place.

Ravi, a 42-year-old ex-Special Ops agent, had faced many battles, but nothing had prepared him for this. His left hand, lost in a previous battle, was no longer a hindrance but a reminder of the costs of war. Now, in this strange new reality, Ravi would need all his experience to navigate the wilderness—and the mysteries of the new world.

Finally, Nina, a 19-year-old biologist and survival expert, found herself lost in a land that seemed to defy logic. The plants, animals, and ecosystems she had studied had no parallel in the world she once knew. She was on her own, but Nina's survival skills and expertise would become essential to navigating this new environment.

The Future:

With the barriers still separating the nations, the leaders—including King Blake—were left to govern their isolated lands, controlling foreign trade, taxation, and visitation rights within their borders. Blake realized that, as ruler, he held immense power over his kingdom's future, but the question remained: how long would this isolation last?

The teleportation circles Blake didn't know how to activate them, But one thing was certain: the world was no longer the one he knew. And now, it was his responsibility to shape its future.

But the chosen ones—whoever they were—held the key to something more. Blake could sense it. There was a greater mystery behind their disappearance, and perhaps even greater consequences for those who remained.
