Chapter 36 - Part 35 - The Path to the Void of Eternity

The atmosphere in the meeting room was heavy, filled with unspoken worry. The heroes stood with sharp gazes, every word from Asha worsening the tension that had already been building. The sky outside was growing darker, symbolizing the dwindling time, and the fear of what was to come was becoming more profound.

Ethan looked at Asha with eyes full of determination, yet beneath it, there was an unease that could not be hidden. "So, the Void of Eternity is the core of Zerathis' power. It's the key to stopping him... But how do we find it, Asha? What do we know about its location?"

Asha took a deep breath, feeling the growing weight on her shoulders. "What I found isn't enough to give a definite clue about the location of the Void of Eternity. All I know is that it's hidden in a place even more isolated and dangerous than the places we've already been. Perhaps only a few know about it, and those who did have long since disappeared."

Rowan, who had often kept his silence, finally spoke up. "If it's hidden so deeply, how are we supposed to reach it? What can we do besides search every corner of this world?"

Asha looked at Rowan, knowing that his words, full of resolve, were only showing the growing anxiety. "I don't know for sure. But... there are some places in the world believed to be able to connect us to a deeper world—a dimension severed by layers of darkness. That may be one way for us to find it."

Lila looked at her seriously, then spoke in a lower tone. "If that's true, we have to find a way to reach that dimension. But not just that—we have to be ready for whatever lies there. If Zerathis can change form and deceive us with trickery, we must be prepared for anything. What must we do to find the clues?"

Ethan took a deep breath, furrowing his brow in thought. "We don't have much time. If Zerathis can change forms like Asha said, we can't rely on direct confrontation to find the answers. We need to be smarter—dig deeper into the location of the Void of Eternity, and for that, we will divide our forces."

Kael, who had been listening attentively, finally spoke. "I understand. So, we will divide the task of gathering information. Each group will search in different regions, but with one goal: to find the core of that power."

Ethan looked at Kael, realizing they had to go further. "Exactly, Kael. We'll organize several groups. I'll lead the main force to investigate places that might connect us to a deeper dimension. Lila, you will lead a team to explore the ancient ruins in the East, a place believed to have connections to an older world. Asha, you and Rowan will head West to delve deeper into more hidden places. If we can find clues, we can destroy the Void of Eternity from within."

Rowan nodded slowly, though his face showed reluctance. "But what about the other threats? We know Zerathis won't stay idle. What if the dark forces attack us before we find what we're looking for?"

Lila looked at him, her voice full of conviction. "We have to stay prepared. The dark forces may be targeting us, but they don't know we're already ready to face them. We will use all the resources we have to hold our ground while searching for a way to destroy Zerathis."

Ethan looked at the four heroes, gazing into their eyes one by one. "We're not just facing the dark forces—we're facing an entity that can change shape and control the darkness itself. We must be ready to confront an enemy that is more than just physical. No one can afford to be complacent. We'll move in parallel, in many places, and we must stay in constant communication. Every piece of information we gather will be the key to destroying the Void of Eternity."

Asha looked at them all, her eyes full of resolve. "This is not just about finding that place. It's about stopping Zerathis before he takes over this world. We can't let this world fall into the hands of darkness."

Kael raised an eyebrow, slightly intrigued. "So, we move now? With no certainty, not knowing what we will encounter there?"

"Yes," Ethan answered firmly, "We move now. We don't have time to hesitate. Every step we take will bring us closer to our goal. And we will move together, no one left behind."

With those words, they all felt the weight on their chests, but there was also a sense of unity deeper than before. They knew that although the path ahead would be filled with threats and uncertainties, they only had one goal: to destroy Zerathis and end the darkness threatening the world.

They began to prepare themselves, finalizing their plans, and uniting their strengths to face what was to come. However, every step they took brought them closer to a darker world—where the Void of Eternity and Zerathis' power waited, ready to test their deepest strength.

---

The night grew late, and the air felt heavier as tension enveloped the entire meeting place. The heroes stood in the middle of the large room, filled with maps and ancient scrolls, planning their next move. Outside, the troops were beginning to prepare, but in their hearts, anxiety still lingered. They knew they were facing something bigger than anything they had ever encountered before.

Ethan looked toward his companions, his eyes gleaming with determination. "We don't have much time. The darkness is closing in. Every step we take must be calculated."

Asha nodded, staring at the map spread out before them. "We're not just fighting Zerathis' forces, but something even greater—the Void of Eternity. It is the core of all the darkness threatening our world."

Rowan leaned against the wall, looking at Asha with a thoughtful expression. "We know we need to find the core, but how do we know where it is? This dark power is so difficult to comprehend. Are there any other clues?"

Lila, who had been silent until now, finally spoke up. "If Zerathis is the god of darkness, then the Void of Eternity must be directly connected to the essence of his existence. We need to find a place that has a connection to primordial existence, a place that might even be beyond the world we know."

Asha added, "I found references to such a place in ancient books. It is a highly hidden location, protected by invisible layers of darkness. Even with our powers, finding the Void of Eternity won't be easy."

Kael, who had preferred action over lengthy discussions, sneered seriously. "So we're going to search for a place protected by darkness... fight against the forces, face Zerathis' traps, and hope we can find something that can defeat him? Seems like a perfect plan."

Ethan stared at Kael, his gaze cold but full of vigilance. "We have no other choice, Kael. There's only one path we can take—strike directly at the core of Zerathis' power."

"Exactly," Asha said seriously, "Every piece of information we gather will bring us closer to that goal. But to find the Void of Eternity, we need to plan very carefully. If we make one wrong move, we could lose everything."

Lila nodded, carefully choosing her words. "I will investigate the ancient ruins mentioned in this book. Those places might provide crucial clues about the Void of Eternity."

Ethan then turned toward the commanders who had begun organizing formations outside. "I will lead the main force. We will search for deeper clues about the location of Zerathis' power core. We need to meet with experts and follow any traces that may have been overlooked."

Rowan raised his hand, asking cautiously, "What will we do about the dark forces closing in? They could strike at any moment."

"The dark forces must be halted temporarily," Ethan answered firmly. "If we let them continue growing, they could ruin everything we have planned. We need to stop them from gaining strength before we're ready."

Asha raised her voice with authority, "Once we've mapped out the initial steps, we move quickly. All groups must work in parallel—gathering information, destroying the dark forces, and preparing for a major battle. Time is our enemy."

With the plan in place, they began to prepare for the dangerous journey ahead. Each hero knew that this decision could lead them to victory, but also to destruction. They would face a threat far greater than anything they had imagined—a primordial power ready to take control of the world.

Ethan looked at his four companions, then turned his gaze back to the map before them. "We can't turn back now. This is our greatest test. No one should doubt, we face this together."

They all nodded, and with a united decision, their steps toward an uncertain future filled with threats began.
