Ethan stepped forward, his heart pounding as he entered the tower, which seemed not only majestic but also filled with an incredibly strong aura. The moment he crossed its threshold, the cold that enveloped his body intensified, as if the air inside the tower was holding its breath, waiting for what would happen next.
Inside the tower, the stone walls, adorned with mysterious engravings, glowed with light emanating from the floor. Every step Ethan took echoed softly through the long corridor, and despite being made of stone, the room felt alive, as if filled with a force that permeated every corner. Some greenish-blue lights hovered in the air, following each of Ethan's movements closely, like guardians watching his every step.
The woman who had been guiding him now walked a few steps ahead, her movements calm yet purposeful. Ethan followed her without speaking much, his mind still spinning, trying to make sense of what was happening. Suddenly, they stopped in front of a large room, different from the others. The towering door was made of glowing metal, with engravings of leaves and the sun that seemed alive, as if ready to open.
The woman turned to him and smiled. "Inside, you will meet those who share the same destiny as you."
Ethan nodded without speaking, though anxiety and confusion still filled his mind. What would happen inside? Who would he meet? With a deep breath, he pushed open the metal door, and instantly, bright light illuminated his face. As he entered the room, he was greeted by an astonishing sight.
In the center of the room stood a large crystal stone table, emitting a soft golden light. Around the table sat five individuals, all seemingly about his age. Each of them wore matching garments—long robes in bright colors, adorned with symbols that appeared to represent the powers they possessed. Ethan couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. They all seemed so authoritative and strong, despite their youthful appearance.
The woman who had guided him stepped to one side of the table and looked at the five individuals. "Ethan, these are the group that has been chosen. Like you, they are part of a greater destiny. Each of them possesses a unique power, and together, you will face the dangers that lie ahead."
One by one, their eyes turned to Ethan, each with a different expression. One of them, a man with long black hair and sharp eyes, stood up from his seat and walked toward him. "You're the new arrival, right? I'm Kael," he said in a deep voice, though with a slightly condescending tone. "You must be confused, huh? This world, your destiny... it's all new to you."
Ethan remained silent for a moment before finally speaking. "What's happening? Why am I here? I'm just a workshop worker in a... normal world."
Kael raised an eyebrow, as if studying Ethan's reaction more closely. "There's nothing normal about this world," he replied curtly. "We all have our reasons for being here, and each of us was chosen by a greater power. It seems like you've just learned a little about that."
Ethan furrowed his brow, his gaze shifting to the woman who had brought him here. "What does that mean? What am I doing here? I just feel... like it's all some kind of coincidence."
The woman smiled gently. "There's no such thing as coincidence in this world, Ethan. You and the others here are part of a bigger plan. Elyndra needs you. But it's not a coincidence. It's a fate that you must follow."
On the other side, a young woman with blonde hair and a blue ocean-colored outfit smiled softly at Ethan. "Don't worry too much," she said, her voice soothing. "We went through the same thing. We know it can be confusing at first, but trust us, we'll help you understand everything."
Ethan looked at the woman with hope. "And who are all of you? What should I do?"
"I'm Lila," the woman replied, "and as Kael said, we each have our own fate, but we've come together for one purpose: to stop the awakening of Zerathis."
That name echoed once again, and although it was still unfamiliar, the words held a heavy weight for Ethan. "Zerathis... who is that?"
A large man with fiery red hair sitting at the end of the table turned his head. "Zerathis is the god of darkness who has been imprisoned for thousands of years. But now, his power is growing stronger, and he plans to destroy this world. We were all chosen to face him."
Ethan fell silent, his mind still unable to fully grasp the reality in front of him. "I... I don't know how I fit into all this. I'm just a workshop worker, an ordinary human."
"Ordinary human?" another voice chimed in—it was a young woman with dark skin and black hair like the night, sitting beside Kael. "There's nothing ordinary here, Ethan. We were all chosen for a reason. You might feel ordinary, but the power within you is greater than you can imagine."
Ethan could only remain silent. This world was so foreign, and their words made him feel even farther from the reality he once knew. Yet, beneath his confusion, there was a drive inside him he couldn't explain—a drive to move forward, to fight even though he didn't know what would happen.
With a voice that trembled slightly, Ethan finally spoke, "Alright... I'll join. I'll fight, even though I don't know how."
Lila smiled and nodded. "That's the spirit we need. Together, we'll face Zerathis and save Elyndra."
Kael looked at him with sharp eyes and then spoke seriously, "This won't be an easy journey. We'll all face trials harder than we can imagine. Be ready, Ethan. This is just the beginning."
Ethan nodded, feeling the weight in his heart. But for the first time since he arrived in this world, he felt a strange sense of trust growing inside him. He knew that whatever happened, he had to keep moving forward. His destiny had been set, and now, he had no choice but to face it.
