Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

Some people are talented beyond comprehension, others are untalented to a fault.

However, they are all human in the end. Thus, A prodigy who doesn't try yet succeed is no better than those who try their hardest and fail.

Yet, there are people gifted with super natural abilities too.

No matter how hard someone tries. There will always be someone with a super power that makes him better than anyone in a specific area, no matter how niche it may be.

It's also why people with super powers are banned from alot of sport events nowadays, to keep it as fair as possible.

But, even among those with powers, there are some who stand out among the rest, be it for different reasons from one another.

One of such people is my classmate Lilia Tsereteli.

One of her defining features is her beauty, a skin as white as snow, an adorable face with a hint of elegance to it, a slender build with an average height , silky pale purple tall hair, vibrant eyes the same color as mangos and a mole under her left eye.

However what truly sets her apart is not her beauty alone.

She's a true prodigy, always getting full marks, always in first place. She was gifted with the ability to learn and copy anything just by observing and understanding it.

She can look at a heart surgery once and repeat it perfectly even a year after, She's a true monster when it comes to raw talent.

Yet, what sets her apart even further is her hard work, despite all her talent she still strives for improvement, everyone admires her for that.

In school, people call her two things, 'perfect princess' is what those outside our class call her.

However, in our class we call her 'the solitary star' because she's always in solitude absorbed in her own world.

Some people tried to shake things up by talking to her, but everyone who tried got turned down with a harsh comment.

I never tried talking to her myself although I sit next to her. that's because I, Rin Fumiya am just an ordinary guy, no talent, no super power, messy black hair, plain brown eyes and no sense of fashion.

I could never be part of her world so I save myself the trouble, because if she's the protagonist I'm a mere background character and today is just another uneventful day at scho-...?

Just now when I was absorbed in my thoughts Lilia put a paper folded in half on my desk without a word.

I took the paper and hesitantly opened it, inside was written in a nice and easy to read hand writing 'meet me in front of the coffee shop next to school.'

....Ehh!?
