Synopsis

A Short World Building.

In this world, superpowers aren't just rare gifts—they're a part of everyday life. Here, we call them talents, and everyone is born with one. Talents come in many forms, categorized into major types like strength, speed, creation abilities, and psychic powers. Countless other abilities fall under these categories, making each individual's talent uniquely their own.

To measure and classify these abilities, a specialized machine called the Console was developed. It evaluates the potential of every talent and assigns it a rank. The rankings range from E at the weakest to the near-mythical SSS rank. Yet, despite the existence of the E rank, no talent has ever been officially measured as that weak—not even in its most dormant state.

In this world, rankings matter. They dictate your opportunities, your worth in society, and sometimes even your survival. Most people fall within the D to SSS range, with only seven individuals ever achieving the SSS rank. These seven are revered—and feared—as the Seven Horsemen, the pinnacle of power and dominance.

The Seven Horsemen possess what society calls Toxic Talents, abilities so overwhelming they defy categorization. These include powers like Aura Manipulation, the enigmatic Void, and even hybrids—those rare individuals born with two talents, an anomaly that grants them unparalleled versatility. The Seven Horsemen are the apex predators of this world, capable of toppling nations if they chose.

With power comes responsibility—or rebellion. Though the government tried to keep these extraordinary individuals on their side, not all Horsemen could be controlled. Three of them broke away, forming a chaotic alliance that fueled the rise of villains, assassins, and organized crime. Their betrayal led to a surge in global corruption, and the line between justice and villainy blurred.

In this fractured world, Emperors rule—not elected leaders or governments. These Emperors are powerful figures backed by their talents, money, and influence. Laws bend to their will, and even prisoners backed by an Emperor can legally run for political office. Corruption has become institutionalized, and morality is little more than an illusion.

And yet, in the face of this harsh reality, Michael Alastair, an 18-year-old boy with no measurable talent—an E-Ranker—dares to dream of more. Michael doesn't just want to survive in this world; he wants to dominate it. He craves the power of an SSS rank, the kind of strength that can rewrite the rules and put him above the Emperors themselves.

But for someone like Michael—a cripple, as society cruelly labels those without talents—it's a dream that borders on madness.

This story begins with Michael's high school life, a stage where even the most ordinary teenagers have extraordinary abilities. In a world where power defines identity, Michael is an outlier. Yet, beneath his apparent insignificance lies a burning ambition that refuses to be extinguished.

This is a tale of determination, defiance, and the pursuit of greatness in a world that has already written him off.
