"I thought after finally getting a decent computer and being able to run mods my life would get better. Little did I know it would lead me to so much more."
I was playing Hogwarts Legacy for the 100th time. I had added so many mods that let me fly on dragons, use other spells, curses, and added so many quest. The quest I was most interested in was from a mod called The Lost Bloodline in which you would be from a wizard bloodline that could use ancient magic from birth. A truly powerful and ancient bloodline, that was almost hunted into extinction for fear of its power. I had gotten everything ready for a long gaming session, and when I went to start the game up, lightning struck my apartment, and somehow killed me. The pain was unbearable, and even though it was less then a second it felt like an eternity. When it finally ended my consciousness faded to black and I slowly slipped away.
It's been 10 years since I died and was reborn. I don't know how or why but I ended up in the Potter-verse. Accept its 100 plus years in the past. I some how was reborn during the timeline of Hogwarts Legacy and it seems like I'm in the in the Wizard family from my mod.
I'm now Christopher Aurelius, the last heir to the most ancient and noble Aurelius family. The only other members left are my mother Lillian, a fierce but kind and compassionate woman. Then my grandfather Percival Aurelius. A grizzled old wizard with sharp blue eyes, and face that showed a lifetime of battles scars that kept his family alive.
I remember everything from my past life, the movies, the books, the games, all the fan-fics, and lore. Nothing about going from a grown man to a baby is easy. Breast feeding was awkward but the bodies instinct would take over even if I didn't want too. My thought I was a genius prodigy since i was able to start talking around eight months, and walking around a year and a half. It didn't hurt that the magic in me was strong, very strong. My grandfather says magic is directly tied to the soul, I think that since my soul has experienced rebirth, it has given me a massive boost. My grandfather used this as an excuse to start my education and training as soon as possible. He taught me everything, and by the age of five I knew more then most fourth years. He was a hard man, carved by years of being hunted, friends being killed to protect our family, or friends betraying him for profit and jealousy. his famous motto was "history is written by the winners, and if you're not cheating then you are not trying. Being an Aurelius is a blessing and a curse."
My mother would always tell me that no one could survive in this world alone, and I would need close allies to carry on with. She also told me only a fool trust someone blindly, that trust must be earned, and those that we trust the most are the ones who can hurt us the most. She taught me how to use my charms and wits to get what I want.
We live in a modest sized house near Hogsmede. Close enough that I could see the towers of Hogwarts on sunny and clear days. My life went like this for until my 11th birthday when I received an owl with an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. My mother and grandfather were ecstatic. They told me there was no place safer in the world then Hogwarts and since our family even though in decline was still being hunted by those that feared and coveted what we had, that they could rest easy knowing no one could get to me there.
Anyways my mother and grandfather took my to Diagon Alley. I got my wand It was a 13 and 3/4 inch yew wood wand, with a dragon heart string for the core, it was slightly flexible. Ollivander told me its a wand that favors a very powerful wizard. We collected all my supplies.
My time at Hogwarts was fun, I was sorted into Slytherin. Made friends with Ominus, Sebastian, Natsai, Poppy, Professor Fig, Professor Weasley, students from every house, and Deek of course. Even though I didn't follow the original timeline I still ended up being the MC. I just had more time to gain power and navigate through the story. Professor Fig invited me into his office one day and there I noticed the Key to the vault, which set off the events in the game. Professor Potter noticed my love for exploring the castle and area surrounding the school, and somehow worked her magic to get "The Guide to Hogwarts" it ended up being an invaluable asset to me. "I guess plot armor is very real." I completed every entry in the book, found all the hidden passages, as well as found all the hidden treasures and secrets in the school. I hid everything I found with Deek in the Room of Requirements. I also spent a ton of time in the Room of Requirements. Catching two of almost every magical creature. Deek helped me care for them, and somehow he magically bonded to me while still being linked to the castle.
However it all still ended with a battle against Ranrock. This time though I was able to save professor Fig, but in the end I still lost my life.
So as I lay here feeling the life slip from me, I'm curious if this is really it or is there something more for me again.
The darkness again...
Then I hear her screaming. "You will not hurt my son!"
"Move you filthy woman I"m here for the boy. AVADA KEDABRA!"
There is a brief moment of silence as I feel bloodlust lock onto me. Then the voice again. "This child will not be the end to me. I end this prophecy here and now. AVADA KEDABRA!"
I feel magic ancient and powerful cover me, as well as my own ancient magic flare up. His spell rebounds, and I hear him fall to the ground. The rebound was powerful it destroys part of the house. I look around realizing I am a baby again. Trying to rationalize whats going on then it hits me. That was Lily Potter and Voldermort. Then that means I'm Harry potter.
