Chapter 3 - Jaffa Kree :)

--------------4 months later---------------------------------

Finally!

I'm finally free!

Four fucking months! Do you have any idea how long I stared at that stupid asbestos ceiling?

Haaaaaaaaa….. Anyway, I needed to get that out of my system.

Okay, summary of what happened during those four months: With my vast wisdom and experience with transmigration (novels), I know I replaced the soul of one Issei Hyoudou. Therefore, I must inherit his will, desires, and enemies, then go gallivanting in his meat suit as himself, thereby abandoning my past...

Yup... Fuck that!

Issei Hyoudou is just a meat suit for me. His attachments, karma, and causal ties have nothing to do with me. For I am not Issei Hyoudou. I'm just borrowing his name for however long I stay in this world. Yes!... That's what I thought, at least.

His parents, however... Yes, I feel a bit guilty about thinking of using and abandoning them. Like it or not, they are the only connection I have in this world. And the fact that Issei's mother visited, took care of me, cleaned, and fed me for all the days that made up those four months… well… yeah, I just can't do that.

Whether I like it or not, I've formed a bond with Akemi… mom… Yeah, I'm just going to treat them both as my adopted parents. Yup, I adopted them as my own—without their consent, of course.

On that note, I convinced them that I had amnesia, which wasn't that surprising since Issei had major brain damage from his accident. The doctor wholeheartedly said it was a miracle on a level he had never seen in his long career. This, of course, led to me having to deal with the doctor's constant requests for permission to write a dissertation on my recovery.

Which I vehemently denied. Such miracles becoming widely known might bring danger to me. Who knows what diabolical organizations, both mundane and supernatural, might be on the lookout for such occurrences?

Anyway, since I was paralyzed due to the many casts on my body, the only thing I could do was make plans, strategize, and think. And think I did. I learned meditation, as I believed it would be vital for learning magic in the future.

Surprisingly, that led to some good news.

Yes, I did inherit Issei's Boosted Gear.

How did I know that? Well, every time I entered a deep meditative state—which I amusingly called Kelno'reem—I saw a big-ass red dragon slumbering on fire. This was followed by said big-ass dragon's tail smacking me back to consciousness.\

Welp, it seems like Ddraig doesn't want to talk to me yet.

Well, whether Ddraig is angry at me for taking over the body of his host or not, I'm very happy to have him.

Disregarding his power, I value the wisdom he has more than the actual abilities he may give me. Think about it: a multi-millennia-old entity who has most likely forgotten more knowledge than I ever learned in my previous life.

His help will be essential for my future growth.

I need to grow into a godlike being—actually, a being most likely needing to be much stronger than any god known to man to accomplish my goals. Which, again, is to beat the ever-living shit out of—and, if I can, destroy—that piece of shit entity that destroyed my home universe, and next, extract information on where and when my mother was transmigrated

I need help for that. Vast amounts of resources, both material and immaterial. And a team, maybe, of other beings in the multiverse who also want to beat the crap out of that bastard.

Anyway, before I gather the dream team, I need to be able to put my fist where my mouth is. A small goal first, I need enough power to punch a building apart in a single goal. Imma giving myself 2 months to accomplish this goal. A infinitesimally small goal compared to my true goal, but still one all but impossible to normal humans.

Again, thanks to my best bud Ddraig, I'm not normal.
