As adam was walking down the street, finally returning from the hospital he suddenly felt his body freeze, the last thing he heard and saw was
A car. Screeching tires. A flash of white light.
It hit him like a brick: I'm dead, aren't I?
"Not quite," a smooth, otherworldly voice echoed around him.
Adam tried to turn his head toward the voice, but he had no sense of body—just a floating consciousness adrift in an endless void.
"Who are you? What's going on?"
"I am what some might call a deity," the voice replied, its tone calm and commanding. "You, adam Tudor, have died. However, you are fortunate enough to be chosen for reincarnation into another world."
Adam's mind raced. Reincarnation? Wasn't that the stuff of fantasy novels and anime?
"I don't understand," he said cautiously. "Why me?"
The deity chuckled, a sound that resonated like the toll of a great bell. "You were selected at random, though you do possess a certain tenacity that makes you an interesting candidate. Now, let's get to the point. As compensation for your death, I will grant you three wishes to aid in your new life."
Adam's thoughts reeled. This was just like one of those isekai stories he used to read. Three wishes? If he played this right, he could create a perfect life for himself in this new world.
"Three wishes…" adam murmured. His mind buzzed with possibilities, but he forced himself to focus. He couldn't waste this opportunity.
"I need some information first," he said. "What kind of world am I going to? Is it modern? Medieval? Are there monsters or magic?"
"A wise question," the deity said approvingly. "The world you will be sent to is known as Eryndor, a realm of swords, sorcery, and untamed wilderness. It is a place of danger, but also great opportunity for those with strength and more importantly wit."
Adam nodded mentally. That made things simpler. "Alright, here are my wishes."
The deity waited silently as adam thought carefully.
"For my first wish," he began, "I want a system that can help me keep track of my progress, skills, stats and has a shop and inventory "
"A common request, but a smart one," the deity said. "Granted."
"For my second wish, I want 500 times growth. Anything I learn, train, or acquire should progress 500 times faster than normal."
The deity paused, as if considering. "An ambitious wish. It will push you to the limits of this world's potential, and may cause some trouble...but granted."
"And for my final wish," Adam said, his voice steady, "I want the skill Abyssal Devour. A skill that lets me consume anything—be it material, magical, or even living beings—and gain strength or abilities from it."
The deity chuckled darkly. "Now that is a dangerous wish. A power both terrible and magnificent. Granted. With this, your path in Eryndor will be far from ordinary and very much entertaining."
Suddenly, adam felt a strange pull, as if an invisible force was dragging his soul forward.
"Your journey begins now," the deity said. "Survive, thrive, and shape your destiny, young one, also the body you will be entering will not be human but i will atune your mind to your body And finally remember, even the most cheap tool comes with a price."
The voice faded, and the void was replaced by a blinding light.

Adam awoke to the sensation of cold grass against his skin and the sound of rustling leaves. Slowly, he sat up, taking in his surroundings. He was in a forest, the canopy above dappled with sunlight. A cool breeze carried the earthy scent of moss and wildflowers.
He looked down at his body inspecting it,He appeared to be made of white bones,a skeleton? as he thought this.
A sudden chime echoed in his mind, followed by a translucent blue screen materializing before his eyes.
---

"This is insane," adam muttered, a grin spreading across his face. "It's just like a video game."

"Alright, not bad for a start," adam said. He knew he'd have to level up quickly if he wanted to survive in a world like this.
Testing his system, adam willed the skill Abyssal Devour to activate. A dark, swirling energy coalesced in his palm, a chilling sensation radiating from it. The skill felt primal, almost alive.
Before he could experiment further, a low growl interrupted his thoughts. Turning, he spotted a wolf creeping toward him, its fangs bared and eyes locked on him hungrily.
Adam's "heart" raced. This was his first real challenge.

[Enemy Detected: Forest Wolf (Level 3)]
---
The system's notification barely registered before the wolf lunged. Acting on instinct, Daniel dodged to the side, his enhanced reflexes surprising even himself.
He grabbed a thick branch from the ground and swung it at the wolf, striking its side. The beast yelped but recovered quickly, snarling as it circled him.
Adams's mind raced. He couldn't rely on raw strength alone; he needed to use his skills.
"Abyssal Devour!" he shouted, thrusting his hand toward the wolf.
The dark energy leapt from his palm, engulfing the wolf in a vortex of shadow. The creature howled in terror as its form was consumed, leaving nothing but a faint wisp of smoke.
A new notification appeared.

Daniel felt a surge of power course through his body. His vision sharpened, his hearing grew more acute, and his muscles felt stronger.
"This is incredible," he murmured, clenching his fists.
But as the adrenaline faded, a cold realization settled over him. He had just taken a life—no, he had devoured it. The memory of the wolf's final howl lingered in his mind.
Shaking off the guilt, adam steeled himself. He didn't ask to be brought here, but now that he was, he had to survive. This world was brutal, and if he wanted to thrive, he'd have to be even more so.
As he ventured deeper into the forest, the weight of his choices pressed heavily on his shoulders. But in the depths of his heart, a spark of determination burned brightly.
This was his second chance—a new beginning.
And he wasn't going to waste it.
